Hi Shruti, my exams are finally over. Unresing all chapter today! Hate me as much as you want and I'm really sorry! Ohkay, so coming to chapter 22- (This chapter also said no, scratch that requested me to give it the title, but now I've gone all insane as to which is the best chapter. Uff...these convos' that I have with your chapters...lol)

Swara is so irrevocably and madly in love with Sanskaar. But, course our Knight is just the best. Poor nave girl doesn't know how hard Sanskaar has been controlling himself to not cross his limits and he succeeded in it, our Prince no again scratch that, he is all Swara's so her Prince! Sanskaar's gestures are sooo sweet that any princess can fall for him and must say Swara's timing was perfect!! Wait did Sanskaar come to know that she was awake? The way she was blushing, I guess he came to know and so wanted to chuckle! Oh his methods...lol. Somebody please tell this guy, what Swara was thinking a minute ago. This two are sooo addictive and kudos to you Shruti, the way you've shaped this story!*bows*

Our lovelorn babies, they do not want to be without each other and just want to be with one another for life, but Adarsh's entry had a horrible timing. Only if he were 2 min late!! Sanskaar would have confessed all his feelings. But still, I love this angst between them. Sanskaar feels some reaction from Swara, but doesn't wanna keep any hopes!! Can understand you bro. I too do the same. That cloak paragraph was amazing Shru. I just loved it. Now that Swara has realized her love for Sanskaar, the marks they don't matter. All that matters is Sanskaar, her love and his happiness! Just loved this gesture.

Swara readied herself in front of the mirror very properly as if she was dressing up for Sanskaar, so that, she looks beautiful to him. This was sooo cute. I just loved the way she put on the dress that Sanskaar wanted to see her in and then very meticulously she dressed herself up for her Knight, by whom she's totally smitten! Finally she voiced it. Why would she wanna go? She'll just wanna stay with Sanskaar. And then remembering all the memories, his touch, taking all of them with her...jeez, our girl has gone! I'm sure many readers might have pestered you for this right? And honestly, I hadn't expected their first kiss before mutual confession, maybe because of the century the story was set in. But if it was totally your idea, then sorry! But it was beautiful of course. The entire scene was amazing!! Look, I'm horrible at appreciation, so you understand as to how I felt, okay?

Part 2-

Finally, the MM people came to know that Sanskaar wasn't a traitor. I was sooo badly waiting for this moment, when each of them has that guilt in their eyes, when no one is able to look at the Prince whom they called a traitor when he was totally innocent and a patriot to his land and when everyone is just belittled on their own by his valour and bravery! I'm sooo proud of you Sanskaar. He had to go through worst of punishments and Shruti just a mere apology from MM wasis is not enough! Sorry. But please can we have them doing something that rectifies their mistake. By this I mean DP! This man, ok I may be biased but still, I'm angry yeah!!

The whole para on Swara skipping and being happy and thinking about her life with Sanskaar and then satisfying herself that all her dreams have come true was sooo cute. I had a smile playing on my lips all the time. And she went to make kheer for him because he likes it. How sweet<3

Those men! Disgusting people. I hate them. But yeah, this gossip will go on between soldiers and villagers. After all, that was the time when society and people's mindset was totally male-chauvinistic. But I still hate them for hurting the Mermaid Princess. And then Sanskaar's convo with Adarsh. OMGG What hell would Swara be going through! Of course, self respect and dignity matter to a girl right? Even I would have felt like a burden of shame upon me if I were in her situation.

The sindoor marriage and the sindoor dropping on her nose was a truly beautiful scene. Her husband is gonna be Sanskaar only and he would love her more than infinity, this proves it. It was as if you are watching something with unblinking intrigued eyes and suddenly a flick of fingers breaks it. Isn't it like when you reread something, you understand it much better than before. Well, the same happened in this case as well. Sanskaar thinks that after hearing the conversation Swara holds him responsible for all that happened with her and hence doesn't want to marry him and Swara believes that Sanskaar doesn't love her and he just wants to marry her so that her dignity is restored. Both are in a web of misunderstandings that you, the mastermind have woven them into (no sarcasm or offence meant, as we already had conversed on this before, I don't dislike it, in fact I love it as I already told you) Am I right this time or wrong again? But it was really beautiful and I'm eagerly waiting for chapter 25!

So Ragini's worst nightmare became true,her truth out in the open.But her crocodile tears convinced the brainless Lakshya and Shekhar to defend her.As Sanskar said ,Laksh needs to use his brain to think what Sanskar would gain by accusing Ragini.And as for Shekar the less said the better.I really dislike the character in the show and he is no different for me here too.He is a pathetic excuse of a father who behaves as if only Ragini is his daughter.

Never expected the mysterious person to be Ramprasad and was happy to know that he had realized Sanskar's innocence earlier and had helped him by providing funds and supplies.The hug between the father and son was heartwarming .

The way Durgaprasad apologized was awesome.Shows the true mark of a man for accepting his mistake and apologising for the same.Loved how he told Laksh that he will not make the mistake of doubting Sanskar again.

Ragini seems to be in a precarious position with only her father and Laksh believing her.Wonder what she'll do next? Or is it game over for Ragini.Janki was just awesome,Ragini soo deserved that slap.

Loved how Swasan didn't require words to understand each other,but they have to spend another night away from each other.I know it's not possible for them to be together now but still can't wait for the day they'll be together.

The Shadow of the Wind is one of my favouriteee books, and its a treasure trove of lovely quotes, including the one you've used...and it came together so well in terms of the chapter and all its unraveling...

I do wonder though...who is the Sphinx referring to in this chapter ? :)

😆😆 at Lakshya's reaction to his 'recently reconciled brother's words'...i dunno why that made me laugh...but it did...it did...

I don't even want to sigh at Shekhar's reaction...and while i think I might just be tempted to channel all my frustration from tv Shekhar to DK shekhar..i shall resist...👏👏👏 for Swara...yayyy...I wasn't a tad worried that your Swara will cower and give in to forgive Ragini so easily...she's made of better stuff :) and kudos for standing up for him against a different him who is supporting a her :P *its midnight and mood is to talk in riddles, ignore me*

On a serious note, that was such a fitting reply, he obliterated the Lakshyaji ka whiny comment in defence of DDD with such class and simple logic !! Also really liked that he's kept all the facts for everyone to see, so that DDD doesn't turn around and accuse him later. He's owned up to his stupidity as well and while we all know he's not proud of it, he's made sure the rest of the palace knows as well. Obv not an easy task !

Well if RP's entrance wasn't the best dramatic entrance, I don't know what is (even though he's so freaking calm and composed)...him telling DP...i made sure you thought it was your decision to make me stay back..that is total seeti bajao moment !! Lux and father seem to share some traits...well only some...

Interesting choice of words here he used about Sanskaar valuing Swara's life...does daddy dearest know how his son's heart beats ?

It seems catharitic for him to talk about everything he's known so far, and how he wants his son to know he should have done better in the initial days and later did everything to help to recompense for that initial error in judgement. When he finally directs his words at Sanskaar and the hug that Sanskaar gives him, it's such a beautiful moment ! Superbly done...

AP as usual doesn't disappoint, and I think as parents/aunts they have done so well for Sanskaar's wellbeing. I'm glad you didn't stretch the whole DP dwelling on RP's behaviour part. It was to the point and he acknowledged his mistake and started to mend the fences. All 4 parents get full marks (well Sujata gets proxy marks for shedding copious tears :P will be exciting to see if she flips out about Sanskaar and Swara, but in the earlier chapters she seemed to be the only one who noticed Sanskaar's behaviour with Swara astutely so I have hope :))

Lakshya doesn't give up...bechara..i mean I feel for him...supporting his wife and also his own image 😆😆...as duplitious as him...umm DDD is far ahead there RP...but like any prince he shuts up when the king commands...so 1 point for him there.

Janki's slap and rant for DDD was amazing 👏👏...so totally well deserved and something I'm sure Sanskaar was itching to do as well !! ugh...what a nasty piece of work she is...doesn't think before stooping low twice...In the war of her multiple personalities, her vile one always wins and is so dominant !!

Another night of separation for our love birds...but loved that wordless conversation they had ! Says so much...like you said in your earlier comment...soul linked...that connect which they have, it doesn't need anything else...and i eagerly look foward to these testy times, because their love will only shine through this like a beacon :)

Sorry for the late Unres. Really loved this chapter . Well i would always wish the chapter never ends when i start reading DK .So it doenst matter to me if it was short or long, i will always want more to read .

Ragini tried to act her way out of it , just like her and Lakshya supporting his wife without thinking is just like him too. But i totally loved how Sanskar spoke the truth . And his princess backed him up . That scene was so awesome the way she moved from behind him to beside him while confirming what Sanskar said as true was too good.

Also i am happy that Lakshya did not stop. so that Sanskar finally revealed all of Ragini deeds including the guards. I totally loved Sanskar backing his truth with facts on how he need not lie if Swara went with him willingly and what would he gain by speaking about it now instead of enjoying his return as a prince .

Shekhar well ofcouse Ragini is more important then your other daughter. And it was such an contrast to see RP coming to the defense of his son while Swara so called Father was refusing to believe her.

I love RP ,so to know he was the silent observer made me so very happy. I really loved how he happen to confront Sanskar and decided to trust him and turn an blind eye, including helping him elope. Atleast Sanskar wasnt alone ,his father trusted him . That made me so happy. His testimony holds much more weight as i believe DP would believe his brother even if RP kept Sanskar secret from him. AP suspected it yet supported Sanskar was a nice family moment as well

I really love that DP apologised to Sanskar . Well Sanskar deserves it everybit, he fought for this kingdom and suffered so much too. Also RP apologised for not standing with Sanskar from the start. I am happy that his whole family finally realized Sanskar worth and the injustice they did to him except Lakshya i suppose.

I really liked RP trying to stop the marriage but not with that much determination because he believed Lakshya to be the traitor. Also the Slap made my day. How dare Ragini still think of assucing Swara like that . So for now our SwaSan are seperated and it wont be easy for the to talk soon i get that.

Overall an awesome Chapter Shruti. Lots of important confrontation and plot movements in this one. I totally loved it . As always your health is important , take care of yourself . We can wait for the next chapter
