Brilliant vijji..i seriously want somethng same happn in show too..bt iam nt hoping much frm shomi because aftr marring shekar she also become dumb like his hubby yaar...my favourite part was Swara choosing to go with Sanskar..i really hope ki if time comes shekar ask to choose him r sanskar she shuld go to sanskar eagrly waitng for dat day..nd your update asusual morvalus loved it!!!!!!! 🤗

Thanks so very much for this lovely comment, and I am so very glad you loved my take on how SwaSan (and Shomi) ought to handle the present situation. I completely disagree with the logic and rightness of what is being shown in the serial right now. This was my attempt to pen down what I felt should happen, and have a cathartic experience of sorts. 😆

I really want Swara to respectfully but firmly tell Shekar that it makes no sense to punish her and Sanskaar by keeping them apart. They haven't done anything wrong!

And I SO want to see Shomi taking an assertive stand for Swara's happiness. She has taken a stand against Shekar's wrong decisions in the past, so why not now?

TBH whatever role you have given to Swara & Shomi...I dont think mother daughter capable of doing that any more. While I would love to see Swara more than Shomi standing up for her marriage IDK I have no confidence or faith in her. Swara ka muh sirf Sanskaar ke samne hi khulta hai. Baki, she is a doormat for the rest of them. And if she doesnt show whats in her mind through her actions I am not going to waste my time deciphering what her anguished face & tears mean. I dont like her enough to give her the benefit of doubt. I guess you too arent 100% sure about the girl...maybe that is why you gave a major role to Shomi, not Swara😆 😆 😆

Hahaha you got me. Of course this is fairly wishful thinking darling. I don't expect this would happen in the serial, not so soon anyway. They will show Swara weeping buckets of tears, Sanskaar being all depressed and angst ridden, Shomi wringing her hands in distress but not opposing her husband firmly...and the list goes on.

What bugs me is, Shomi opposed Shekar's wrong decision in the past, so why not now?

Hahaha I don't not trust Swara as such yaar. 😆 I just felt even if she opposed her Dad, she will be circumspect about it, as any daughter would be. I would love to see her telling Shekar respectfully but very firmly, that she and her husband love each other, and haven't done anything wrong. They deserve to be together, so why part them?

I wanted to give Shomi the starring role in a sense 😆 As I really want her to show the mirror to her husband. That man is so spineless and gutless even when he is trying/ pretending to be determined and resolute. Arre yaar, he should learn something from his damaad! !!

I really wanted to show what I felt ought to happen in the current track in the serial. It won't happen this way, I know that. 😡🤢 But I SO wanted to see a firm Shomi and a determined Swara, telling Shekar that his decision was wrong.

He seems to always think of Ragini only. And this time he is also thinking of his own ego, his hurt pride that Lakshya slapped him back when he hit him. Lakshya was wrong, no doubt. But he should also see how much wrong Ragini did in the past na?

And why punish SwaSan? They haven't done anything wrong. They love each other so much too, and they are lawfully married!!

I reallywant to see Swara respectfully but firmly tell her father that her place is now with her husband. I want Sanskaar to come to the baadi to bring Swara back home, and politely but assertively tell Shekar that HE has rights, too. Shekar can't keep him away from his wife for something the 2 of them had no part in.

And Shomi--she has opposed Shekar's wrong decision in the past, so she really should do that now, too.

Let's hope! 😊

I so so wish our makers had one iota of your sense or imagination, but then if they did, the situation that led to where you picked up on this fab OS from, would never occur in the first place so that all goes round and round! 😕😆

I was/ am apoplectic with rage at the current happenings. I had decided that once Cavity departed I would enjoy the track and not whinge but seriously this is the pits and the whole thing of a father behaving this way, after they ruin SwaSan's marriage yet again, is unacceptable to me.

And how I would love to see a super strong Swara, even more so than Shomi, but seeing Shomi finally crack and give spineless nincompoop what he should have had a long time ago (oh wait that might get her in for husband murder)- was great to read. I loved the perfectly sensible things you made the people that should say them utter 👏👏👏. It gave me a sense of peace for the time I read this, penned as usual with your finesse and flair, which makes all writing seem good.

I have to still restrain myself to commenting on the well executed OS here and not going off on another rant but you gave many much satisfaction I am sure with this retelling of exactly how things SHOULD be (if they got to that stupid point to start with of course). Little touches present as ever especially the scene where Sanskaar touches her neck 👏⭐️.

So happy to have your take on this drabble, you know how much I always look forward to your comments. They really always make my day.

I am completely with you on this Shru. The current plot of keeping SwaSan apart, on Shekar's diktat, is so awfully stupid. They are legally married (well...as a matter of fact and law, they never even got divorced earlier, so that have got married twice in a perfectly legally and socially binding manner...and one more, if you count the sindhoor marriage). By what right is Shekar forcing Swara to renounce her husband and stay at the baadi? It makes my blood boil, to see this normally spineless man discovering his backbone for such an irrelevant cause!!

I do so want SwaSan as well as Shomi to take a firm stand against him. I know that SwaSan would never cross certain lines with elders, they'd always be respectful. But they can be firm, stand steady on their rights, while being polite.

Shomi has opposed Shekar's wrong decisions in the past, she really needs to do that for Swara and Sanskaar's happiness now. High time she lost patience with her completely bumbling and prevaricating husband! ! Why can't he learn something from his damaad!
