Dear Viji,

What a blissful OS" from 'Toska' through 'mizpah' till 'mudita'.

A beautiful journey! We have Sanskaar burning in the fires of separation and Swara mourning the loss of her heaven (I somehow derived a certain sadistic pleasure in reading about Swara's plight - she does deserve it right? I mean how blind can one be to one's heart?😉)

Sharmishta is the true herione in this tale - how well she addresses Swara's fears, especially that line - " she was his past, you are his present and future. With you he will be happy. But you need to have the courage to take that final step" and indeed, she does - decides to go home, to Sanskaar.

"the fiery steeds of helios himself could not have held Swara back' - it is a wonder he decided to rise - after all I sure Swara was glowing enough to outshine him.😆

And the saree you described, another one from your collection? (you seem to have a lovely one if the sarees you describe are anything to go by 😊).

And then the epic - fall!😆 and what a fall it was - followed by another epic one liner - 'Tum mere neeche ho, Swara' (Oh god - I went into raptures here😆😆😆 - it completely brought back memories of that other fall and that (a)Sanskaari one liner).

BTW, how did Swara know he lost weight😉😉 (he could look leaner, but the actual weight loss?)

Then the beautiful confession, the acknowledgement - it was not only Sanskaar waiting for Swara - even we waited😊.

Madame Swara's naughty avatar - her academic interest in being kissed😊... truly Ekstaz.

Thank you for this wonderful valentine day's gift.🤗🤗🤗

love,
Nyna

Hey Nita darling...🤗 🤗

Thanks so very much, my dear. So, so glad that you loved this. I wanted to focus mainly on SwaSan in this one, their brief separation and the utter joy and completeness they feel upon their reunion. This is Valentine's week after all---so this is by way of my Valentine's Gift for SwaSan. 😃

Kavita for me, is Sanskaar's past love who tragically died. End of story. I respect her as a cherished memory in a corner of Sanskaar's mind, definitely no scope for a resurrected Kavita in any of my writing! 😉

SwaSan all the way!! 😳

Thanks so very much, once again

Loads of Love,

Hey Leku...🤗 🤗

Wow...thanks so very, very much for those genuinely warm words. I am so happy to hear you have such a high opinion of my writing. I am truly touched and humbled by your words.

Well, I am passionate about writing (and reading). Its a cherished hobby of mine. To tell you the truth, I do dream sometimes of writing something professionally in the not-so-near future. 😊 My present work commitments only allow me to take it up as a hobby.

But sincerely, thanks so much for your best wishes. And thanks for your appreciation of this OS as well as my other works on SwaSan. All my completed works are on my index, please do read at your convenience and let me know what you thought.

Lots of Love,

--Viji

Res, I'm still about to read😊

Viji my dear darling sis,

Dear lord in his beautiful heaven! The sheer beauty in this one, how on earth am I to describe it? Here I was, home early and getting bored, only to be presented with this mind blowing, early valentine gift!

I was wondering Viji, dear, if you would write something for the week, which I guess would go un-celebrated and moodily in SR world, with Swara in jail and Sanskar pining for her.

Coming back to the OS, I'm in awe of your title selection. More so of the effect those titles have on me. When I read the word "Toska" which I know mean Longing, sadness and nostalgia I immediately wondered if this shot would perhaps be followed by another sequel titled "Ekstaz". But you were even better, you ended Toska by bringing them to Ekstaz, which is more than one greedy SwaSan fan can except from another.

Once upon a time I was in love with this word, so I love you more for the dedication and let me tell you, for me too, you have become a vital part of life.

Okay, so Swara went home, after a replay of a scene we remember so well. Where she was so close to Sanskar's psyche that she could hear his unspoken words, but so distanced from her own psyche that she couldn't comprehend the pull she felt towards him...bless those old days when we wondered when Swara would fall heard and deep. It brought out some wonderful memories dear!

Then we come to the part where Sanskar is feeling his share of Toska. I was gripped by the utter realistic approach there. What we keep buried beneath our conscious during day chained by iron self control surface freely and torment us in the dead of the night, that is so true...so real... This is what I love about your writing. You write humans and your approach is always so down to earth with them. It makes the reader feel for the characters as if they were close friends, as if it is a pain we have shared with them. I felt my heart weeping along with Sanskar as he thought how his subconscious was tormenting him with visions of a life so far away from his grip. Poor, poor soul!

Then Swara, well true, it would be a crime if you say she didn't suffer. Because she did and did so very highly. Well there was a time when I thought this was where her ignorance was leading her. It was portrayed well, the inner battle of her desires and fears. Awesome dear.

Then Shomi, thankfully decided to step in and give the much needed push in right direction. I love it when mother's do that. You know, make you come in terms with realities you would forever run from. Only mothers have that ability. Here Shomi was everything Swara needed at the moment and the way she dealt with her fears, doubts and gave a wise piece of advice of her own, that was just so heartfelt.

Then Swara decided to turn in to the avatar I love her in, the solid and unwavering in her decision, her insecurities long forgotten she races towards the goal, or in this case let's amend that to her destiny. I was smiling like a fool when you said Sanskar had grown a beard, he might look cute with one!

I adore the direct, no nonsense way Swara chose to let him know of her feelings, and stood her ground. That was a wonderful moment. Then ah, that kiss was really some liquid fire. You're a master in writing these kind of fiery scenes and here you have again out done yourself.

The playful banter that ensured then was added cherries on a already chocolate flossed cake dearest. I couldn't help but laugh when Swara said her prince charming did not have a beard in her fantasies...maybe perhaps she too had some tantalizing fantasies similar to Sanskar's dreams, in the nights they spent apart. Interesting...

I hope she would take a long time doing her academic research for her thesis on "Kissing the man of your dreams". After all she has a complex line up of experiments planned ahead.

This one really ended on a note of Ekstaz, leaving me feeling lightheaded as well.

Loads of love,

Saku

Res... Viji ❤️

Unres:

Viji,
A pre-Valentine's Day treat! <3
#Toska - The name of this OS and its description at the start was brilliant.! A five letter word with such depth in its meaning and you justified its usage as the title throughout the OS.

I think I have said this before - you have a way with words where you can describe the smallest of things in a beautiful and elegant manner. I was in awe with way you have spun emotions of separation between SwaSan in this OS.

#Sanskaar's feeling on separation: So aptly put that Sanskaar takes pride in the sort of person he is and therefore due to his vow to never 'jatao any haq on Swara' he continued to stay as a friend when he was burning within. Truthfully put any other human would have preferred to keep a distance from the love of their life in such a situation (for purpose of self preservation). He still continued to be a friend. Viji that whole para where Sanskaar dreams about Swara and wakes up to harsh reality and then rubs his chest right above his heart pulled my heart strings. Truly the emotions you displayed here hit the reader in me right at the heart. Fabulous work!

#Swara's emotions on separation: She really does prefer to run from her emotions doesn't she? Can't really blame her after all the crap she went through. Loved the way you have shown her inner turmoil regarding what is love, how scared that word makes her, how she doesn't want to lose Sanskaar to a fleeting feeling and destroy him and herself in the process. *sigh* It was so well written.

#Sharmishta: I love her as Swara's mom. She is perceptive when it comes to her daughter. I guess all mothers are and you have portrayed this mother daughter bond brilliantly and sensibly. Love her for making Swara understand the past and the need to let it be a beautiful memory instead of letting it crumble the present and the coming future. <3

#The Milaap! <3
I wanna give you a big bear hug for this part. Oh god! I wanted to blush and laugh out loud at the same time during the whole reunioun. My fangirl heart went all happy dancing while reading this part. Among everything I loved most - Sanskaar's territorial fingers, the whole 'Tum mere neecho ho' dialogue, the amazing kisses (most important fact was that SHE initiated the first kiss *dancing*)!!!
Viji you made this Valentine happy for me with respect to SwaSan. I don't care what shit they show in the episodes now. I got something better. ;)

Thanks a ton for this awesomeness!

Keep writing!

-V

P.S.: I love the fact you have decided to completely ignore this resurrected Kavita. I really do prefer her as a beautiful memory rather than the shit they are showing.

P.P.S.: Exams still pending. Studying underway. :)
