Part Five
The Next Day: Maheshwari Mansion
Silence filled the hall of the MM. The ruthless business tycoon Durga Prasad Maheshwari hung his Head down as the Reality dawned upon him. Just 10 minutes back, he had been surprised when his Watchman had called him and told him that his former friend Shekhar Gadodia along with his Family were at his Gaye and were desperate to meet him. DP had at once given him the order to allow them in. As he descended down the stairs along with his wife Annapurna Maheshwari to greet his friend and his Family, he surprisingly didn't receive any greeting from them. Shekhar Gadodia wasn't in the Mood of a Greeting as he started shouting the name of DP's favourite son. Durga Prasad had been shocked that why was his friend so angry and in a state to kill his son. He glanced at Shekhar's family only to find them all crying, what shocked him even more was that Swara whom he had met a few days ago was wrapped with a shawl and was crying on her Mom's Shoulder. Slowly, all the people in the MM descended downstairs to know what the ruckus was about. Shekhar's anger reached a greater extent as he started shouting for Sanskar. After alot of questions, Shekhar's younger daughter Ragini had finally spoken. Her every word hit him as though an Arrow was being hit. She told them all that how their precious son had played with Swara's feelings to win a bet and when Swara had got to know his True Nature he had done the most horrible thing possible for a girl to bear just to win his so called Bet. If Ragini wasn't enough her Dadi, Parvati Gadodia had begun cursing the Maheshwari Family for destroying her Granddaughter's life and stating that how know Good Marwadi Boy would marry Swara after knowing what happened with her. A dazed Sujata who had just recovered from the shock about her son had engaged in a verbal fight with Swara's Dadi claiming that her Granddaughter was lying and her son wouldn't do such a Horrible Deed. Annapurna tried to keep the situation in calm but to no avail. She gestured Laksh to go and fetch Sanskar and Laksh had returned a minute later only to find that Sanskar was not in his room.
Just as Destiny had planned, Sanskar entered the Maheshwari Mansion only to find The Gadodias in his Hall. It didn't take him a Long Time to understand what had happened. He rushed to his Bade Papa. The rest of the people had registered Sanskar's presence but before Shekhar Gadodia could corner Sanskar, Durga Prasad had slapped him hard when he had tried to make him understand that he had not done anything. The Walls of the MM shook due to the intensity of the slap. Even Dadi had been shocked by the slap. A lone tear fell from Swara's Face it wasn't even half the times equal to what she was going through.
The Slap according to Sanskar was for breaking his Bade Papa's trust who had given him much more importance than his own son. But for DP the slap was a remainder for making Swara go through a lot of pain. It wasn't a surprise for DP that Sanskar had gone astray. He had seen Sanskar a lot of times coming home drunk and Laksh supporting him to reach his room. He had also seen Sanskar with a lot of girls and when questioned Sanskar had told that they were his friends, DP had nodded in agreement making Sanskar believe that he didn't know about his deeds but the truth was he knew. He had always called Sanskar as an obedient boy in front of his Family and Sanskar had eventually believed that his Bade Papa didn't know anything about his personal life unknown of the fact that his Bade Papa had done this so that some sort of guilt would build in Sanskar and he would become the Obedient Boy the family thought he was yet there were no changes in him. He had never thought that his most favorite son would go to such an extent. Thank God the Watchman of Sanskar's Farmhouse had called him yesterday and informed him that Sanskar had come to the Farmhouse and there was a Girl along with him. The Watchman had also told him that he had seen Sanskar and the Girl getting Romantic and Sanskar had then taken her inside. He had told the Watchman to go and enquire and tell him if something serious happened. It was later, that the Watchman had once again called him and told him that he had screams of the Girl as she was crying and after a lot of ways to see what is going on he had seen the Girl in torn clothes walking out of the Farmhouse in a daze. DP had been shocked by this news, he had immediately called up his Men and had ordered them to make sure the Girl reaches her Home Safely. He had realized that Sanskar had done the worst thing possible but didn't know that who the Girl was until Shekhar had come barging in his House and had declared War against Sanskar. It was at that time that he got to know that the Girl who was wronged was none other than - Swara Gadodia : The Girl who he had thought as the Perfect Match for his So-called Obedient Son.
The silence in the Hall caused due to DP's slap had been broken by Sujata who still took her son's side taunting Swara for spoiling her Obedient Son by calling her uncultured. Yet this time, Ragini had spoken she said "Bas bahut hogaya, bahut sun liya humne. Hamari Behen ke baare mein kuch kehne se pehle aapko apne Bete ko sikhaana chahiye tha ki ek Aurat ki Izzat Kaise Karte Hai. Hum yahan aapke Ghar mein Madad maangne nahi aaye hai balki Aapko aapke Bete ki Sacchai Batakar yeh Kehne Aaye Hai Ki Hum Chup Nahi Baithenge. Aapke Bete ko uski Galti ki Sazaa Milke Rahegi. Hum abhi jaake uske Khilaaf FIR likhate hai aur Dekhte hai ki Kaise Hamari Behen ko Insaaf Nahi Milta." Saying this Ragini caught hold of Swara's hand and started walking towards the Door. "Ruko Ragini" said a familiar voice "Bhai ke khilaaf FIR likhaane se Na tumharo koi faayda hoga na Swara ka aur nahi Hamara. Isse accha hai ki Hum Sab Log milkar koi Faisla karre" said Laksh who had stayed quiet for a Long Time. DP took this opportunity to put his plan into action.
He politely apologized to Everyone on Sanskar's behalf and said "Hume Lagta Hai Ki Laksh Sahi keh Raha Hai. Milkar koi Faisla karna behtar hoga..." He was cut by Ragini "Nahi Aapke Bete..." But he didn't let her continue "Agar Aap Logon ko koi Aitraaz Na Ho Toh Humne ek Faaisla Liya Hai" receiving a silence from everyone including Ragini He continued "Aise Haalaat Mein Hume Lagta Hai Ki Swara aur Sanskar ki Shaadi Hojaani Chahiye." He could hear Whispers in the Hall which clearly meant that Everybody was Shocked with his Decision. Even Sanskar who had kept his Head Down after receiving a Slap from his Bade Papa had lifted his Head shocked with his Bade Papa's decision. Sanskar turned to look at Swara who was clutching Ragini's hand tightly to shocked to react.
DP raised his Hand gesturing everyone to Be Silent and addressed Swara's Dadi as he knew she would be an easy target. He continued "Hum Vaada Karte Hai Ki Swara Ko Iss Ghar Mein Koi Pareshaani Nahi Hogi aur Iss Ghar ki Bahu Hone Ka Usse Pura Haq Milega. Kaki Sa, aapne hee kahan na ki yeh baat jab samaj mein malum padegi toh Swara ke liye acche rishtey naa aaye, Isliye Hume Toh Yehi Lagta Hai Ki Inn Dono Ki Shaadi Hojaani Chahiye Shayad Iss Tareeke Se Sanskar ko Apni Galti ka Ehsaas Ho aur Woh ek Accha Pati Bankar Dikhaye." His words had a Remarkable Effect on Parvati Gadodia as her tone immediately changed and she made Ragini shut up saying that she shouldn't get involved in Matters which are to be Dealt by Elders. "Hum Swara Ke Faaisle ka Intezaar Karenge." Said Durga Prasad only to glance at Swara who now had become a Lifeless object as Tears fell down from her eyes. He knew it would be tough for her, but this Decision was for her own good. He had been impressed by Swara the first time he had met a week back when she had come along with Shekhar. He had seen the Fire in her Eyes which he wanted to see in the Girl who could make Sanskar come on the Right Path. He had decided at that instant that Swara would be perfect for Sanskar, the Fire in Her would engulf the Impulsive Nature of Sanskar and he would become His Favorite Son in all possible ways. As he continued to glance at Swara he saw the Fire in her Eyes had been replaced by Fear thanks to Sanskar but it did not Die, it was still there. Now all he had to do was make Swara realize what she was so that the Fire in her could make its way back. All he could do now was Hope for Swara to Agree to Marry Sanskar. Looking away from her, he walked towards His Room followed by his wife Annapurna after escorting The Gadodias.
