As I read the first paragraph and the description of his appearance, I was still mulling..friend or foe...maybe friend pretending to be foe...and towards the end of the chapter I was like eeeyuk foe foe foe foe !!!

So basically Sanskaar's actions to save that poor man landed him in a toughie !! Sigh, the burdens of being a saviour ! I guess seeing Veer, gave DSR an inkling of Sanskaar's identity ! Hate that the trio are in such a fix...and even worse that Sanskaar is against so many ! These bleddy gaaonwale are also of no help... ! As always his thoughts rest only with Swara's safety. Loved how his protective streak flared in that conversation regarding who Swara will ride with.
Despite Swara's dodge with Maithili and (vik)RAM, DSR already identified (atleast Sanskaar) them. He definitely seems intelligent although utterly vile and lecherous. Sanskaar's ire is palpable. Ugh, what's with this royal landscape and there not being any worthy adversaries to contend with. It's like bechara Sanskaar has taken that burden for all four kingdoms !
So he's got Sanskaar's weapons, the map, the horse and the girl L Not good news at all. I can't tell you how much I look forward to Sanskaar wiping the floor with DSR and especially obliterating that smug expression off his face !! All these princes were clearly bested by Sanskaar in the past and are still carrying that grudge !! The sadistic pleasure he derives in showing Sanskaar his helplessness is making me cringe !
Lakshya not the traitor...well I didn't expect him to be...like I said, don't credit him with too much intelligence 😆...but didn't expect to be an entirely new clan (i thought the traitor might have been Adarsh in cahoots with someone else), the whole of which is out to get the other kingdoms. So the plan is to torture Sanskaar and revel in making him suffer. Beta, you are better off trying to finish him off, because obviously you don't know Sanskaar and the fact that he'll use exactly that time to annihilate you ! Na key milega, na supply treasures, na kuch !! He best pray that he get an easy death, because Sanskaar is going to making him pay hell for all past crimes as well as for Swara !! I am completely hopefully J...yes S will go through some pain, but that will only make him stronger and better. I'm not sure if Sanskaar is giving him the upper hand here in terms of gleaning more information, or if his tiredness and exhaustion is making him not see the big picture, but have full faith in his return to awesomeness !
Who is this old friend, tsk..really Sanskaar was just surrounded by the worst people !! Seriously hope it is not PKJ *please no..no...no...I'll go into denial* But given DSR used an expletive (whether he meant it literally...which would be an interesting angle) to address PKJ...I'm guessing it's not him *heart still holding out*
Applause for Swara's plan...I hope it throws him off if only slightly. While I do think Devendra is very shrewd, he might just do stupidity if bewitched by Swara *though that might be more DDD's strengths !!*. Nevertheless good try Swara (you can see Sanskaar almost hit his head with his palm, but for now he can only despair)...but who knows maybe she holds out until the merry men come *okay where are theyyy ??*
