#Jealousy
Ragini's thoughts and emotional turmoil!

Part 1: The starting to paragraphs are breathtaking. The way you have described the transition of good to evil, slowly and patiently, using the various colors displayed by the sky during its transition from day to night was just spectacular. It really showed what an amazing writer you are. And then the whole flashbacks part.! Brilliantly written. Part 1 was the highlight of Jealousy for me.

Part 2: This RagLak conversation was amazing. You have clarified what happened and why it happened. Ragini hoping that the guilt Lakshya will feel will help her get through to him and probably make a better future for them, but Lakshya has surpassed even her and has started blaming Swara instead of feeling guilty for his actions. He is one twisted spoilt brat with a twisted selfworth. Fabulous job at his portrayal.! Ragini finally realized that the person she so desperately wanted is not the person she thought him to be. That moment of realisation that you have shown was just wow! I was speechless at the brilliance of emotion portrayal. Those two paragraphs at the end of Part 2 made me wanna bow down to your amazing writing abilities. Fab work! :)

Part 3: All I wanna say is 'Ouch!'. I was horrified at the way Ragini was talking to Swara. My god! No wonder Swara did not want to speak to any lawyer at the start of Icarus. I flinched while reading every line said by Ragini to Swara. I could completely imagine Swara's spirit and heart crushing. Brilliant!

#Honor
DP's character & AP's betrayal!

Part 1: Twisted honor. That's all I can say. How can a person build honor on all the dishonourable acts. The whole part with DP's portrayal was amazing. I really enjoyed understanding his character, thoughts. Brilliantly written!

Part 2: This part had me cringing. Poor Sanskaar. Betrayal to the core. And DP was gloating. He wanted to see Sanskaar hurt and he succeeded. The whole scenario was marvellous! It must have taken great strength and effort for Sanskaar to get back up from the pit DP and his'Ma' threw him in. You have written the scenario so well. :)

#Love
Almost Epilogue ;)

Part 1: Justice to DP. *evil smile* AP is leaving him. He is sooo far in the whole he has dug that no one can get him out. Great end to him.

Part 2: Biological father -Mr. Ashwin Sharma. Sweet of you to give Swara a closure with this aspect of her life. She was hated by Shekhar and at least now she has some answers.

Part 3: This part was full of SwaSan and love. I really enjoyed this part of the 'almost' epilogue. 'can I have an answer please?'. I really liked this clarification of Sanskaar's past. Very well written. :)

Sakura, Calypso was much needed to understand the depth of all the characters. Thank you for this spin off. It gives Icarus a whole new light and understanding. Really enjoyed each of the four oneshots.

Keep writing. Awaiting new work from you. :)

Sukura 🤗🤗🤗

You have simply outdone yourself.👏👏👏

"It's a certain tragedy when agony and resentment are all you have left connecting you to someone you once loved."
J.S.B. Morse, Now and at the Hour of Our Death

That should sum up exactly what Annapurna felt for DP - your portrayal of AP is hauntingly beautiful - she truly redeemed herself at the price of losing everything. Her husband, her sons, her family, everything. All her life was but an illusion to which she clung to so desperately that only when it shattered leaving her broken did she realise that futility of it all. Even at the end, when she confirms her decision to leave DP - her final thought was of regret that if she only awakened a little earlier she might have slowed his descent to hell.

DP - no comments -venomous snail - as you aptly described him in 'Honour' is quite befitting him.

Swara and Ashwin Sharma - that was totally unexpected. But what a lovely tale - again of love and loss and how the same affected all concerned - So Swara realises that Ashwin Sharma is indeed her father but chooses to keep quiet, even after understanding that he never did betray them and that he still loves her mother. I think if she ever harboured any grudge against her father, she forgave him at the instant she asks him to forgive himself - because at times it is easier to forgive others than one's own self. And the quiet assurance with which she says that 'her mother' would have forgiven him too.

And finally Sanskar and Swara - that was...(I am searching for words) Sanskaar being irrevocably in love with Swara and scared that his need for her might break her - he trusts her but not himself, for he sees himself as too broken and tainted to be loved. He is actually terrified that his blood would make him like either of his parents - arrogant and power hungry like DP or maybe (a tiny fear) that he could turn out to be weak like his mother who was unable to resist the charms of DP.

But then he really need not have feared, right - because if he was even a little bit like DP - he would have never hated his father for betraying Annapurna (though it is understandable if Sanskaar hated DP for betraying Suhani) - that in itself is truth of him, despite his lineage he is and will always be Annapurna's son. A worthy son indeed, in the light of the revelation that Annapurna was there for Sanskaar from the moment he was born.

For once, Swara was the stronger one - the one who recognised the fragility and doubts in Sanskaar - and loves him all the more for that. For there is no stronger man, no man who can love you more, than the man who bares his very soul to a woman - knowing that the darkness and scars could scare her. And the firmness with which she addresses his fears - she always loved him, never SK and resolutely asks him to leave the past where it belongs, in the past.

This was indeed a beautiful tale of love and its myriad outcomes: DP's love for power and glory leading him to ruins, Annapurna's love for an ideal family resulting the in loss of that very family, Ashwin's love for Sharmista not allowing him to really move on, Suhani's love for DP's charms leading to betrayal and the ultimately Swara and Sanskaar's love for each other enabling them hope and happiness.

Love
Nyna,

PS: My apologies if it sounds like I was rambling - I starting commenting, went back to read this OS, then went and re-read Icarus - then this OS - so am not sure if my comments are coherent.

Hey V,
The titles you gave to the shots are awesome dear😊
Yes, jealousy deals with how evil is born, as in how a fairly good person can turn in to a shallow black hole with time. I tried to make is as clear as possible.
I wanted Ragini to have that instant punishment. You see what she fought for and obtained was not worth it and now she knows that.
Well, Ragini is always capable of doing such "ouch" things right?
Honor is about the disgusting side to evil, where one is brutal only to hide his own weakness. He has a twisted sense on everything I think, glad again because you liked it.
Last one, Love.
AP deserves that escape doesn't she? I had to grant her that one honor.
Swara too deserved those answers, as to why she was put through so much pain and suffering. At least her father is no monster like Sanskar's.
I'm thrilled to know you loved the SwaSan scene dear, I had tried verious approaches for that one.
Oh yes, Calypso was much needed to cast some light on Icarus.
love,
Sakura

Thank you. I'm glad you found it interesting.
As for your doubts,
I really didn't bother revealing where Swara was at the moment when she met her father. As she says in the last part she was away from Sanskar because he was avoiding her.
Sanskar's mother's graveyard is in Kolkata (Or so I imagined) He went there to take Annapurna back with him I think as she tells Durga Prasad in the first part, she is supposed to leave with her son the next day.
In Icarus it was made clear that Swara would not go back to the Gadodia's if that's what you mean dear. If you're asking about the relationship they share, well biologically there's no relationship at all.
I think you would found your doubts cleared now. Thanks again😊
