Oh yes, I remember that starting para in Icarus so well. ...the nature of victory in SK's mind. Lovely symmetry there, with Annapurna's thoughts at the close. I am a HUGE fan of symmetry and symbolism, and you do give me generous dollops of that on your pieces: a scoop of pecan nut crunch and a scoop of cookies and cream worth. 😉

Oh I remember you telling me then (during our discussion about Sanskaar's doubts regarding his own inherited traits), that you were going to put him through a lot of pain with such doubts. But somehow I thought you were referring to FK, with his fears regarding his blood ties to Chandraraj, a man he so detested.

I LOVED your take on this aspect in FK too, as I did your take here in Calypso, vis a vis Durga Prasad. Aaarrrghhh it is so darned hard to choose between your pieces. ...but as a winter lady, I must say that the winterland saga (IK/SQ/FK and winds of winter), holds a very very special, irrevocable place in my heart, amongst all your writing. 😛 Next to that, I am still torn whether I love Icarus/Calypso Or Elixir more...Maybe I will re read Elixir this weekend and then decide. 😉

On second thoughts why choose now...when I have 2 more works of yours to look forward to in the (I hope) very near future?

Viji dear,
I did think you will find the symmetry lovable there😊 And please don't remind me of pecan nut crunch at the moment I'm on diet😛
Yes I did mention it during FK and it had some connection to Chandraraj, but he was never as vile as Durga here was he? It was Vasu pulling the strings there.
I know as a winter lady you find that series so adorable. I do too. But in a sense I love Icarus too. It was so much fun to write all of them. I really can't choose between my work. They're my babies I love them all😳
Oh, you're about to re-read elixir? I read it recently when I was on travel and was bored to death. But still I found myself longingly thinking about winter-series shut in a Google drive which was out of reach for me that moment.
Yeah, you have two works to look forward to and I do hope that will be in very near future. In fact I have a thrid one in mind too. But it needs some very solid planning, it would follow after the former two had their chance.😊

Hi again Sanya,
Oh no dear, I don't think it is sadistic at all to feel that pleasure at DP's end. I mean that man had tortured us all through Icarus and this is nothing more than "karma" taking toll on him. So let him be and enjoy yourself without feeling guilty.
I wanted Swara's real father to be a little caring than Shekar was. You're right he is not at fault only the destiny played him a little cruely.
Yes, they won't find happiness instently, that's not how it happens in real life. It takes time for one to heal enough to move on. But they will reach that end of rainbow eventually and that is enough for us I guess.
Thank you so much dear.
love,
Sakura
