Ah yes, Uttara you see she was the pampered princess, never trained in battle...it is evident from the way Sanskar still cares for her. So she and Adya as nothing to do with winter, they are trapped as much as SwaSan are, with Vasundara as mother what else can you expect?

Of cause Ragini was childish, Vasundara is more sharp and poisonous.

Oh, you think Kavi is less dangerous than Lakshya? Interesting!

I like the mix of spring and winter...we need a little warmth in-between the bone chilling storms!

Yes Aditya being alive can turn the curse for Vasu, we'll see what Adya does.

i loved that first interaction between swara and sanskar. how his guilt is eating at him and the only one who can heal him and heals him everything is swara and to be fair visa versa. the other person's pain hurts them the most and the other person is the most effective healer for them. loved how you portrayed their bond, their emotions and their comforting each other.

they were spotted by the ones who are likely to be most impacted by their intimacy. the two knights interesting knew each other long before they joined to fight the same side. that really make me wonder when did laksh find out kavtia was alive, someone i feel it was long ago. long before sanskar knew it. and that make me wonder about him as a person. that he opportunistic and emotional is given, you have shown that through well. he is driven by his desires without realising what his action will really lead to and what kavita say will come be true soon. very soon i feel. esp since he now wants to kill sanskar.

that kavita has shades of vasu doesnt surprise me. i felt you very subtlety started to show that side of her in the last update. she like vasu is a women scorned who is out to take revenge and burn everyone in its path, taking pleasure in it. not like sanskar was ...laden with guilt.

i thought there would be something between adya and uttara, i didnt know it was going on for sometime. i wonder if vasu is aware of it and hence pushing kavita on her son, because she doesnt want her knight to turn sides. when you showed someone listening into the conversation for a moment i felt that it was sanskar who had already bought adya to show him the truth. may be i was wrong, it was sanskar only apparently??? or could it be both and they are attacked by laksh and that turns adya around about his mother?

i felt that vasu had some hand in her husband;s murder, but girl, you have kept him alive how wonderful. and the entire way you have shown that incident is beautiful.

loved the uttara and sanskar scene as well

i am looking forward to seeing how sanskar comes out of this...

Yes, as I was telling Viji in my comment earlier, Sanskar repents for his mistake of leaving Swara in the storms alone, deeply. I always picture them incomplete without the other, so yes, they are affected by the other's pain and would do anything to heal it.

The knights have turned in to spies now. Oh, Lakshya and Kavi has a strong connection, you see Kavi is not what she seems to be, there is more to her as well as Lakshya. True, Lakshya is emotionally driven, his desires blind him and logic is less, this I guess was the reason he was never considered to be crowned in the winter land. Battles of this league doesn't suit him.

Vasu and Kavi has much in common, I agree with you here. When the process they are put through is same the end result must be the same as well. That is evil I guess, enjoying what you do.

Ah, I kept that secret for the end. Adya and Uttara were always a couple and you are right, Vasu did know.

I should not answer as to who Vasu saw, but she does think it was Sanskar, that's why she wants him dead now.

Did I surprise you? I feel top of the world at that! This is Vasu's curse, her desire to torture him is going to be her doom now.

Chapter 11: Some very intense revelations here indeed.

Brother: I really liked the calm, elder brotherly way Sanskaar handled Uttara. Once could really get a vibe of how much he genuinely loves her. When he calls her Doll, I was deeply moved, it reminded me of how my elder bro addressed me (and still does😛). He calls me the equivalent of Doll/ Gudiya 😊-- in our mother tongue--Tamil.

I liked the ease and gentleness with which Sanskaar queried Uttara about what she wanted, which side she would pick. Though she did declare she was on his side, Sanskaar does realize how much that would tear her apart, since his Doll really, genuinely loves Adya. And in his sister's interest, he, though he might be tempted to tear Adya limb from limb, calmly asks him what is Adya's price for peace, what does he want to stop this ultimately futile and pointless war of egos and wills. And the way Sanskaar tells Adya that his mother lied...so firmly and in full grasp of his facts...That's our Sanskaar!!!

Cat and Mouse: This detour into the past really was tantalizing, Saku. 😊 So that's how Aditya played the game...He does love Vasundara sincerely...but he is not above using the temptation of the crown to sway Durga Prasad into adhering to his engagement with Annapurna. Certainly a Chanakya...Vasundara might think she is one, but it is her husband who seems to be more like the master strategist. She is just plain vile!

I get the feeling both Durga and Vasundara were more in love with the trammels of power and position that really with each other. (Though Vasundara might have possibly loved him a tad more than he loved her...am not too sure there, you could enlighten me).

I loved the one liner Aditya threw at Vasundara here "He can either have you or a Queen, Be either your Husband or a King". 😊 Sadly for Vasu, but perhaps obviously for everyone else, Durga chose what Aditya knew he would choose...

Ghosts Living in Shadows: Saku dearest, you know, I was kind of expecting that Aditya would be alive. 😊 Remember I asked you in a comment sometime back, who had signed those papers Vasundara was demanding? It didn't seem like Durga Prasad at all, though the opening of the next section seemed to suggest it was. You replied that indeed, it wasn't Durga----and I had been thinking that perhaps, after all, Vasundara was not quite the black widow (Oh, black in heart she is, certainly...but not a widow!! 😛)

The way you disclosed through that monologue of Vasundara's, how she had played with the lives and loves of the Maheshwaris and the Biyanis, and even her own brother's life...My God. She's so vile, so selfish, so cunning. She is not a gray character anymore, nothing can excuse this level of scheming and vindictiveness.

So I presume Sanskaar was there? Did he bring Adya along to show him the truth as well? But then Adya would no longer stand by his mother right?

Darkness: My already non existent regard for Lakshya went a level lower. He feels by removing Sanskaar from the scene he can make Swara return to him? And feels no compunction taking the life of his cousin, who has been like a brother to him through all their childhood and teen years, and even after their recent bitter estrangement, has made efforts to reconcile with him? Aaarggghhh...Amphibian alert!! 🤢 I just hope that some innate sense of honor and decency, might stay his hand in the end.

Of course, I know you won't let Sanskaar die! 😉 😛 He is more than capable of staying two steps ahead, and he has Swara with him as well...and who knows, Kavita or even Adya might foil Lakshya's plan? But still I do wish that he himself, might not take that final plunge into the bottomless pit...

You'll let us know in Chap 12 I guess 😊. On Monday? Can't wait!!

I really wanted Uttara to have a deep bond with Sanskar. In this winter land such warm moments matter. Oh, I was called Doll in my younger days...partly because I have a huge age gap from my sisters and I was practically their doll when I was a baby😳 I'm glad to have brought out some of your beautiful memories with your brother.

Sanskar cares a great deal for his doll, even enough to lay down his weapons if that is the cost of her happiness. Such a perceptive and loving brother he is.

In my opinion selfless love like Ram's or SwaSan's isn't everyone's cup of tea. Aditya was a cunning man as much as his wife later turned out to be. Although he loved her, he was not beyond his desire to attain her. He had that perceptive side of Yasho too, which he used in a far colder way by playing on DP's weakness for his crown and Vasu's insecurities.

Oh, of cause. Vasundara and Durga were in love with their crowns and positions more than each other. That's where Sanskar differed from his mentor, he let go of love to escape the crown and Durga did the same to attain it. As for Vasundara, I guess initially her interest was to become the Maheshwari queen, but she might have had a tender corner for DP, although it was not beyond her greed for power.

I tried a lot to divert everyone to think it was Durga signing something awful, but you being the winter lady you are managed to see through the ice! Oh no, Vasu isn't gray she is dark as coal, and bitter as poison. It was she playing all along, all those stupid decisions everyone seemed to be taking in IK and SQ makes rather sense now don;t they?

You'll see who was there in the finale dear, I will hold my silence.

You know I am growing tired of this guys sliminess as well...let's see what he does. I mean even for a little fragile brain some logic might be approachable right?

Finale would be coming soon, I know you can hardly wait.

So,Sanskaar got the quality from Yashodhara of straight and wise talking.
Vasundhara instead seeking love was seeking crowns. if she sought love , this wouldn't be her condition, I guess!

Sanskar is nothing if not straightforward, remember the letter he wrote at the end of SQ, confessing his love in a very clear and sharp manner?

Oh yes Adya is nothing like his mother. He was talking about Lakshya who is pretending to lose his memory.

Lakshya was weak in his classes also, as it was revealed in Winds, so I guess his habit of not doing his homework is a very old one😆

Sanskar doesn't like to acknowledge Ram and Sujata aren't his parents that's why he calls Yasho Masi, but here he was touched about her death and called her Ma, it was a one time thing.

I can hardly see any quality Sanskar would pick up from Suju who is very much like her character on the show, he loves her dearly but that's where their connection must end I guess.

In winter land many seek crowns dear, those who seek love doesn't belong there.

I'm glad you loved the SwaSan scene and found the twist with Adya and Uttara interesting. KavLak is venomous I agree!

Oh, that was inspired by a friend of mine, she hardly cries because of her eyeliners. I can picture Uttara fixing her makeup while an irritated Adya watches on.😆 Big Bros do that don;t they? They like to stun you out of blue and watch that frozen expression on your face. I'm sure Sanskar might have enjoyed himself.

Ah, yeah, the bishop is still there. He might help against the queen this time. AP's marriage wasn;t decided by Aditya it was a decision of their families...but I guess Adi used it here to make sure he gets Vasu in the end.

Of cause Vasu is a while woman. She played a long and destructive game.
