Sunjay Kapur’s estate row
A legal battle has emerged over Sunjay Kapur's Rs 30,000 crore estate, with Priya at the center of the controversy. The lawsuit has been filed by Samaira and Kiaan, Karisma Kapoor's children, who are represented by their mother as their legal guardian. The core of the dispute revolves around the validity of Sunjay's will, a concern shared by his mother and sister.
The children allege that their late father had consistently assured them of their inheritance, a promise they claim was ultimately disregarded in his final will. They further allege that Priya, Sunjay's third wife and their stepmother, played a role in altering the will. This legal action was triggered after Priya presented a will, purportedly executed on March 21, during a family gathering on July 30.
