Res
Unreserved
I know if i apologize for the delay in unreserving this post you are going to give a good spanking, so all I'm going to say is thank you for baring with my delay. I did read your OS a few hours back but was in a hurry and this OS clearly needed a much thought out comment.
Firstly a very biggg Thank you for the sweet dedication🤗🤗🤗 I seriously dont think I deserve it, but if you think I'm worthy well i'm honoured and humbled. 😳
Now coming to the OS itself.
Part 1 :where you took Mahabharata's theme in was wonderful. For a long time I had heard and read the different stories of Mahabharata without giving it much of a thought. the first time I actually thought about the depth of the different stories, specially this event that you mention was when I read 'The Difficulty of Being Good' by Gurucharan Das. Just a few months back, I saw a play about the plight of Draupadi, how even though she wasn't just Yudhishtra's she had been lost in the game of dice. So i loved the reference to the story, and only when you mentioned it did it actually strike me how similar the background is in the case of Maheshwari's as well.
Until very recently, Durga Prasad was the only Maheshwari member that I had respect for except Sanskar. I think, that Ram Prasad is given actually very little screen space and dialogues. So I thoroughly enjoyed how you brought in and developed his character.
Part 2: Wow, I loved your version of Swara. She had so much depth and emotion. I know Swara is sometimes not shown with as much emotion as someone who has faced all kinds of betrayal from her family would. So I think your version was spot on. It was realistic, specially the way she has somehow lost respect for Shekhar for the things he has done and the slow realisation of her need and love for sanskar. Even the way SwaSan interacts, and how she finds the small indications that Sanskar still loves her were very natural and beautiful.
Part 3: Father-in Law and daughter in law conversation stole my heart. Not many stories actually look at this realtion with importance, but i have grown up, without my maternal grandfather, and my mother looking up to her father in law with respect and admiration, in the same way a daughter would look at her father. So i loved it. The tender SwaSan moment and Ram Prasad leaving them alone was so cute. And Swara's dialoge about learning from her husband😳😳 was my favourite.
The confrontation, I must say was well thought out. Will someone please give the CV's some sense and put something logical into their scripts too? They should hire you to write the scripts. Also I don't understand why dadi is always hovering around in the maheshwari house. Once again Sanksar saves the day dadi being scared of Sanskar who is 1/3rd her age🤣
Part 4: Swasan + Ramprasad is becoming my favourite 😳😳
I loved the whole emotional Sanskar, the SwaSan conversation. But what I enjoyed the most was the slow pace of regaining trust. unlike the telly world where after one apology they go back to being lovey dovey. And the sindoor in the end was a promise for a future☺️ like the OS you have promised us
Okay, I think I have exhausted my vocabulary , and I'm getting late for my dance class.
Have a merry Christmas and Happy New Year
XOXO
