Wow, I have a friend, she's Tamilian and learns Carnatic singing, and I've done Bharatnatyam for some five years so I know a bit (a very little bit) about Carnatic music too. But I really don't know anything about Hindustani music at all. Thus, I didn't realize that Raag Yaman Kalyan was a late evening raag and that Raag Bhairav is an early morning raag. That just makes me like your TS even more. As I stated in one of your earlier TS's I love when authors use uniformity in their writing. I am truly awed by your recurring themes for each part and how everything connects to the raag. It's just amazing. I know I'm probably a little weird to be ranting on about this, most people probably pay more attention to and appreciate the plot and characters, but I just can't help notice and love it.

After you mentioned the timings of the first two raags, I was curious as to what time of day Raag Todi is associated with.

Also, no problem for the long reply. I felt you must've worked so hard on this, I felt it needed a proper reply. I literally had one tab open with the TS rereading it and one tab on the comment page so I could type as I went along and ensure I didn't forget to mention anything 😆, because I felt that that was the depth it required. Plus I love reading and discussing what I read, and who better to discuss it with than the author themselves? After discussing it with you I learned more about how you felt while writing it.

Oh and thank you. 🤗 Happy New Year to you and your family as well! 🥳

Thanks again Sapna. 🤗 Your comments are really making my New Year's eve. 😊

Raag Todi is a mid morning to late morning Raag. 😊 So this TS moves from the late evening in Part 1, to the beginning of a new dawn in Part 2, to the warmth and brightness of the mid morning in Part 3.

WOW! I didn't even notice that!
That's so awesome and deep.
You put so much thought in what you write, I love it.
I'm so glad I asked, now I understand the entire TS SOO much better.
Once again, I must sound so weird going off about the themes of the TS rather than the plot.

Awww. ...thanks yaar Sapna. 🤗 All your compliments are seriously making my day.

Well the themes and the details go towards making the plot na? So I am very glad you liked it. 😊

Hi Suha...🤗🤗

Thanks so much again for this wonderful, lovely comment yaar. It was such a privilege and pleasure for me to get this feedback from you, I've been meaning to reply in detail for days. But owing my travel on holiday, was taking some time.

Am so very happy that you loved this chapter of the 3S so much. I wanted to show here, Swara genuinely pining for Sanskaar, missing his care, his love and his companionship. She has realized the depth of her own feelings, and is going all out to win his trust back, to woo him and assuage his hurt.

Sanskaar felt extremely hurt that Swara doubted him. He adores her so much, trusts her so absolutely, that he felt utterly wounded when she mistrusted him, even if only briefly. The thing was, he would have expected her to ask him straight out why he burnt the blanket. The fact that she tried to investigate in a roundabout manner pained him, since their relationship was based on trust and belief, and he felt that now, she was doubting him. I think the sentence which would have hurt him the most, was when Swara referred to the drug, saying that it was the same which he had earlier (in his quest for revenge), connived with Ragini to use on her. With Swara's friendship and warmth, Sanskaar has left those bitter days far behind, so to be reminded of those dark, hate filled days by the person he loves more than anyone else, would have been horrible for him.

But like you said, Swara is not at fault here, the situation was at fault. Swara knows how much Sanskaar loves her, how protective he is of her. When Ragini had spoken insultingly about her earlier, referring to her "illegitimacy", Sanskaar had got so furious, he even attempted to silence her by grasping her throat. So Swara could have felt, that after Ragini maligned her so badly in front of Annapurna and Sujata, Sanskaar could have kidnapped Ragini just to teach her a lesson.

But where she made a mistake was, she should have realized Sanskaar would never, ever, let the blame fall on Swara for this. He would rather have confessed. Neither would he have allowed Swara to feel so much worry about Ragini for a couple of days.

Their mutual love is so intense, so pure and deep, that they were bound to reconcile. It just needed time for Swara to heal Sanskaar's pain. 😳

Ragini has made further progress towards her redemption in this chapter. She still feels pangs of envy sometimes, but she has realized that Swara and Sanskaar truly love each other. She does not want to cause them pain and separation anymore, in fact, she has started feeling genuinely concerned for them. I really believe in that philosophy, Suha--that fate is not an absolute. The choices we make, determine our ultimate fate; and I think the Divine does give us that choice. Once that choice is made, however, then the wheels of fate take us to whatever end we ourselves have determined, by choosing our path. And here, Ragini was doing her best, to take path towards the person she used to be, to rediscover the goodness within herself.

Seriously, Love knows not its own depth until the hour of separation. A great quote by a very great author, Mr Kahlil Gibran.

I wanted to show Swara pouring all her love, all her faith and devotion into her music, and conveying to Sanskaar the sheer depth and intensity of her emotion. He was angry with her and not prepared to trust her words, but the sheer power and virtuosity of her music, the purity of her love, shone through and convinced him. They are soulmates after all...

Very happy to know you liked Swara's desciption of Sanskaar's eyes. I loved writing that part. ☺️ 😳 And their romantic kiss, I was in SwaSan dreamland when I imagined and typed that, so as you can imagine, I was so glad that you liked reading it.

Thanks so much again, Suha dear, for your very warm compliments. You really made my New Year's Eve special with this. 🤗 🤗 Hope you find time to read chapter 3 as and when convenient. Let me know when time permits, what you felt about the last chapter--Raag Todi.

Hi Friends...🤗 🤗

I am incredibly touched and humbled by all the lovely responses to this 3S. I had tried to weave in the concept of music into this piece, a theme with which Swaragini started but of late, we don't get to see much of, in the serial.

Thanks again, for all your very warm feedback. I guess I have replied individually to all your comments made so far, and will catch up with any new ones within next couple of days.

Wish you all a Lovely 2016! 🤗
