Okay, a question for Anna, Cogito and others:

Your girlfriend, who you trust with all your heart, suddenly starts to act insecure before your marriage, then (you think) she deserts you at the altar, you see her confessing her druggie habits on a video, then she says "I'm gonna commit suicide" in a letter, but returns as your sister-in-law, then starts accusing Ragini, a girl she always defended earlier?

What would you do in such a situation? How would you react to her?

What charade? She genuinely kept this fast for her husband's well being.
They are going to be divorced they are not divorced yet
They are married.
That's why she thought to perform her duty as a wife because no matter how where and when they are married- period

Hi Krystal. That's very well put. Indeed Sanskaar had years to recover but lets not forget that the woman he loved, his wife to be took her last breaths in his arms. Anyone would be scarred for life after witnessing something so horrific. Marrying Ragini was not the solution even in that situation. Lakshya is the guy who was able to prevent dada/dadi's suicide by bringing in his friend to act as a fake cop so what was preventing him or anyone from using other means to prevent Ragini's suicide? Surely, marrying her was not the only answer, no one told him to, he decided it on his own, it was his brainchild.

Like Anna stated earlier, in Sanskaar's view Lakshya targeted an innocent woman who happened to be Sanskaar's love so he justified to himself that Swara might be innocent but she is Lakshya's love which makes it fair game because Kavita was fair game.

Yup, marrying Ragini was idiotic, sure. No debate here. But I'm saying that he was probably too flabbergasted to think straight. Dada-Dadi's situation was different, at that time he was not overwhelmed from all sides.

Now this is new to me.
Never followed show from beginning , Sanskaar used to give drugs to swara?😕

I dont want to see swara and laksh together after the way laksh left swara, he does not deserves her.

but drugging a big crime, not forgivable and he should be punished.

I know this is a fictional show, but dont we call Ragini a criminal? Sanskar falls in same category. Both should go to jail.

@bold -- exactly. And even with that plan, he had a few days to plan. On the day of his wedding, he was hit by all sorts of problems all at once. And plus, Laksh has never been good with making split second decisions. That was the entire beginning of his introduction -- Swara was the one who put perspective and focus into his life. So he was thrown into this chaotic situation where a girl was threatening to commit suicide. He took the (worst) decision he could've and decided to marry her. Again, not saying that he was right in his decision, but just trying to contextualize it.

And tbh, I kinda think comparing Sanskaar revenge state of mind and Laksh wedding state of mind are two different things. Sanskaar thought through all consequences when he enacted his plan. Sure, Swara was fair game as Kavita had been. But like Krystal pointed out, he had years to think and formulate. Laksh didn't think of any long-term problems. Focused on the present and took a split-second decision. The pressure on Laksh vs Sanskaar's revenge plots are two different things imo.

Just to clarify, not saying that Laksh was right. Hell no. Boy was idiotic. Just trying to bring in some context from Laksh's decision -- again he was and is wrong.

He and Ragini repeatedly administered drugs to Swara and made her react funny, also took her and Lakshya's MMS and circulated it in public. Also, dumped her at a seedy hotel for a night.

Relationships require a lot of work from both people. Along with trust, communication is of utmost important. In such a situation my immediate reaction would not be to marry my fiance's brother, or his friend or any guest attending the wedding. 😆 Yes, I would be broken, I would cry but the first thing I would do is seek out my bf/fiance/significant other and talk to him to figure out the reasons behind his actions. I doubt my runaway groom would have to resort to marrying my sister to oust the other person because I would have made sure to have a discussion with him first to figure out why he did what he did. If after that I discover he played me then I leave, cry, and move on in life. I am not vindictive because I know that the subsequent pain would be only mine to bear.

Btw. I don't think Swara's letter ever stated that she will commit suicide, I believe it said she is moving away forever.

Thank you. I acknowledge that typo is a grave offence.
