I am just in awe as to how delicately and intricately you have woven the character of DP and Swasan. The journey of being the man who he is and his mother's influence on it, now, seeing DP influencing sanskaar. Maybe that's why we aren't independently who we are but a reflection of many rays of light and colour that have passed through us.

I enjoyed many points in this making it hard for me to pick up any one.

*The story..although have heard it as a folklore from my grandmother, this was simply new and deep making m enjoy it the same way. The details of sky descending wearing a blue sherwani- such details totally makes me love your work more.
*I loved the entire part of Gauri and DP's interaction
* That line regarding how love of a mother relates to the womb and of a fathers' to the heart. Just so so so true!!!!
*DP being the true man, yearning for a daughter and swara seeming to perfectly fit that place.
*The lovely flashback of swasan. It definitely is apart.
*The entire scenario of Swara lifting her hands up and Sanskaar quoting the famous line *insert the quote* 👏 . Real life confessions are always simple yet unique devoid of any grandeur . Mere presence and their words make it grand and special.
*The beautiful lines on how space actually binds the 4 elements and relating Space to be the utmost one and metaphorically showing the true place of Love. The place it truly deserves to be.

And...My most favourite part- The ending..as always beautiful. DP had indeed changed the ending of the story😃

There couldn't have been a more apt ending to the series😊. Can an another part make me take my words back and say that, the new part was the best?😛 *please consider writing one more. 5 elements, 5 parts. Promise no more no less. I won't ask furthermore for a 6th part.

Thank you for such sublime writing. Makes one's day who reads it.👏
please keep writing more and more.

🤗 🤗 Thank you very much, Vaishnavi, for your very generous words. Am so glad you liked DP's portrayal here. Like I said with "Fire", I was a little worried if many readers might not like so much focus on a "supporting character". But DP and AP are such interesting character templates, their edges and layers, their back story, deserves to be explored.

And of course, none of my stories would be complete without SwaSan, they are the reason I have rediscovered my passion for writing 😊 I am just creazy about that pair!

Thank you so much for your very detailed analysis of what points you liked. Made my evening! 😊

Will definitely let you know when I write more.

Well, viji, if u write this beautifully, every character gets attention..it isn't about supporting characters or leads..it's just about characters and how well u can unravel the varied layers beneath it. You, my friend seem to have just known this art so well. ⭐️
poignant writing 👏
Would be happy to see quartet turning a quintet😃

Loved it and you wrote the OS as brilliantly as always! I liked that penultimate paragraph where it said that space is above all the elements and is fair, that is true about DP. He has been fair thus far and hopefully will remain so in the future as well.
Are you going to more? Please do. I will be waiting eagerly to read more rics from you.
BTW did you write an fics for ArShi? If so, can you PM me the links please?

First of all thank you so much Viji for dedicating me and the others this OS 🤗 You are such a sweetheart 😳 You deserves all the appreciation Viji 👏
Your OS literally makes my day It's like i'm watching a film, because i can imagine every scene you described, in my mind. You are purely brilliant.
Kudos to your immagination 👏 I never thought someone would write something on DP and so beautifully. I really like his character, such a genuine and honest person he is.
The bedtime tale was really beautiful ❤️ I loved it, especially the description of the sky wearing a midnight blue sherwani embroidered with a million glittering stars.
I feel DP is the only person who really understands Swara and Sanskar.
The entire SwaSan scene where Sanskar says those famous lines was a magical moment ❤️
And the ending, wow 👏 Perfect way to end a masterpiece 😳
I can't thank you enough for writing this, but still thanks a lot 🤗

Viji⭐️,

First of all, thank you for the acknowledgement in the opening of this OS. I have not been encouraging to you..I have just shared exactly what I felt. But if it managed to coax another one of these pieces from you...I'm going to keep doing it, until you owe me a new laptop because my keys got worn out.😆

Now, coming to this particular piece. I have absolutely no idea why my eyes have suddenly decided to prickle at the corners, because there was not much sadness here, except that folktale. However they are. I guess its because I regularly cry when I see anything beautiful..(I hardly ever cry in emotional scenes in movies or serials, but I wept buckets when we visited Pangong lake in ladakh, and my dad actually thought I had caught a head cold, and gave me an extra muffler to use as a hanky, since Mum had taken all of his, for her real cold😆).

Anyway, Durgaprasad's childhood was like the yolk of an egg, forgive the analogy, but it was. Soft and nice. His mother of course was the adoring mother...and he was in turn the brilliant brother who RP looked up to. That family background of course is quite typical. When he grew up..he developed the shell coverings and thicker skin...which served him well..but his heart was still the soft yolk after all.

I loved how you made DP love Sanskaar because of his similarities with himself and his talent...even more than his own sons. How he regretted the misunderstanding that had caused his son after his heart to leave. Its important for sanskaar to have a father figure, he too lacks one, just like Dp himself did in his youth, despite having fathers.😳

You made sure that the only reason Swara was unsure of his feelings was because of Sanskaar hiding away his feelings after disclosing them, feeling that he was going to cloud her judgement when the time came to choose properly.Convenient huh?😃.The SwaSan union was lovely and sanky suddenly became like ASR😆. Loved how DP, quietly and strongly plays the Godfather here...and ultimately gets the two lovers together. What I like most about him is that he learns from his mistakes, has no problem owning up to them...and correcting them as far as possible.👏

I have absolutely nothing to say about how well you write...mostly because I have used up most of my superlatives. I love it.

Part of storytelling is coming up with new ways to tell it. You are an excellent Storyteller Viji.

love--

indirectly giving him a hint of her approval...
