Hi Viji,
Although I enjoyed the whole element series a long while ago, I thought that I should tell you what I felt about each, don't mind that I'll be going backwards from space to water.
Okay, coming to space, DP well his character fascinates me and oddly marvelous it associates so well with the element you picked up for him. Unbiased, eternal, overlooking everyone...vast in aspects of both knowledge and experience. He is the space, alright, the sky above the Maheshwaries. The back story you gave him, just portrays his journey from a boy we are unaware of to the man we know and appreciate.
The SwaSan part is as usual awesome, but what touched me was DP and the way he finally made the sky and the earth meet. A wonderful tale that is, I've never heard that one before.

Thanks Sakura 😊

The tale about the sky and earth's wedding was a folk tale I remember studying about in school...but couldn't find it anywhere. So filled in details, with a mix of references from an Armenian poem I found and balance concocted from my imagination to Indianize it 😉

DP certainly seems like a Space persona na? I feel he is genuinely fond of Sanskaar and Swara and he tries his best to be impartial.

Glad you liked this OS series. 😊

Thanks so very much Sujay. 🤗

The Elements quartet I wrote was very close to my heart, and I'm so very happy that you liked both Fire and Space. Hope you had the chance to read Water and Earth as well.

Cheers

Viji my sweet
I hv absolutely no idea how I missed this one ...especially since I hv read the earlier 3 parts...

Super brilliant! I loved tht tale of Earth and Sky...I thought u had completely made tht up as I hv never heard it before ... The description of Durga prasad of his earlier years is quite nice ...

I also liked the deviation ur story took from the original and how u have mostly avoided any other character apart from Swara Sanskaar and DP...and how keeping DP as the main one u hv weaved this beautiful ending to the swasan love story.

Young love is often insecure and unconfessed thinking tht the other one doesn't love me back ... In talking to Sanskaar DP did him a big favor in clearing thoughts in his head...Sanskaar would have probably never hoped of his love been requited despite being a sharp and intelligent person had not DP showed him the path. DP is surely his father of the heart to want to see his happiness more than laksh's.

Awww so my swasan are diehard LOTR and hobbit fans too how close their hearts have intertwined tht when Swara is reminded of a memory of them watching hobbit he comes there and quotes Kili...how absolutely sweet is tht!!

Their mutual teasing !!! Oh...how I wish things had been so simple btwn them...how they actually were so simple before Kavita!!

Loved it!

Hey Tas sweetie...🤗 🤗

I had no idea that you had missed "Space". So happy you managed to catch up with it now. In fact, I'm so glad I wrote "Air", else you might never have caught up with "Space" either, and I wouldn't have had the pleasure of such a lovely comment, as always, from you.

Thanks so much Tas. You are one of my forum pals whose comments I always look forward to the most. You always read in such an involved manner, and your comments are always so insightful.

Coming to this OS, that story of the Earth and the Sky, is an old folk tale..like I'd mentioned, I had studied it in my upper primary /lower secondary English course. I blended my memories of that tale, with an Armenian poem of a roughly similar theme I found from Internet research, and of course dollops of imagination to Indianize the poem. 😉 I used to love that tale. So full of bittersweet romance and longing...

Am so happy you loved the SwaSan and Durga Prasad portrayal here, Tas. You put that so very well, young love is sometimes fearful of not being requited. I wanted to show in this OS, how Durga Prasad views Sanskaar as the son after his own heart, and Swara as the daughter he always wanted. He wants to do right by them also; and he always remembers his instinctive reaction to that tale his mother told him years ago: that it was so unfair the earth and sky should be parted, when they loved each other so much...

I am completely overjoyed that you liked the Hobbit reference. 😉 You know I am a major LOTR and Hobbit fan, and the Kili--Tauriel romance is so lovely. ...I just couldn't resist imagining Sanskaar speaking Kili's dialogues to Swara. Would have been so very romantic. 😳☺️

As always, thanks from the bottom of my heart for your comment dear. Its a privilege and a pleasure to hear from you.

Take very good care of yourself. 🤗 Best Wishes and God Bless for very happy tidings to come. 🤗

Lots of Love,

Viji

Hi Viji,

I knew i had to catch up with the other elements once i read Air. And finally i started with space. Loved it dear.

DP early child hood was great. It gave us an insight of him being the one with Vision. I liked how you explained that while he wants to shower all his fatherly love he is not able to express them due to the fact he never received them.

Ofcourse i will love swasan scene. It was a treat to read. I too like happy endings just like DP. Me off to read other elements now. It my problem once i start something i get overly addicted to it.

Sorry for the short comment. This was really an awesome OS dear. I just want to let you know that. Tomorrow big match. I have to sleep. I keep saying that to myself
