Mahavatar Narsimha's Hindi version all set to touch the Rs 100-crore mark, trumps Saiyaara, Son Of Sardaar

Hombale Films who has delivered box office monsters like the KGF series and Salaar is ruling with Mahavatar Narsimha as well. An animated film about Lord Narsimha, the climax has given people goosebumps. Those who have read mythology will know how King Hiranyakashyapu tortured Prahlad for his firm belief in Lord Vishnu. He made plans to kill him bit failed. When his torture crossed all limits, Lord Vishnu himself came down to save Prahlad and restore Dharma. The action packed movie with stirring BGM is also being shown across schools in South India. Hombale Films has announced its Mahavatar Cinematic Universe.

As per the box office tracker, Sacnilk Entertainment, Mahavatar Narsimha saw huge turn out in both the 2D and 3D formats in the Hindi belt. They are around 85 and 93 per cent, which is huge. It seems in the Telugu belt, 200 shows out of 220 shows are running housefull. The Hindi version is also making good moolah. As per Taran Adarsh, it made Rs 5.3 crore on Friday followed by Rs 11.25 crore on Saturday. This is a huge growth given that is started from Rs one crore. Son Of Sardaar two has picked up in the evening.

Dhadak 2 is quite flat at the box office. On the other hand, Saiyaara is going strong for its third week. It is noticeable that Narsimha has now crossed the wave of Saiyaara. It has time till August 14 when Coolie and WAR 2 come at the box office. This win means a lot in different ways. Indian animation films if they do well will create a new genre. Given the kind of mythology, we have it is a shame that not many thought of this before.
