Didn't comment on the Heathcliff and Darcy reference before because I didn't want to lose focus from your story, but the comments are making me want to butt in and join the conversation 😆

Not going to get too much into talking about Darcy. I mean seriously, who DOESN'T love Darcy? 😉 . And Heathcliff and Darcy are two characters who are so vastly poles apart that I find it difficult to put them together in an example. Mostly because Pride and Prejudice is a very tame story compared to Wuthering Heights. But you were right in referencing to Sanskar as Darcy. Both were judged from the outside but were misunderstood from the inside. Both didn't let people crack the hard shells they had surrounded themselves in. They both portrayed a false image infront of people which was the complete opposite of how they actually were.

Coming to Heathcliff, now that's a character that left me equal parts fascinated and appalled. He is such a beautifully twisted and complicated character that till now, even after so many years have passed of me having read Wuthering Heights, I can't decide how I actually feel about him. All I can say is that I love to hate him. His love for Cathy though unquestionable is so catastrophic that by the end of the book I felt as if I'd never be happy again 😆 . He did some pretty despicable and unforgivable things, all in the name of revenge. It was mind boggling, witnessing the extent he went to. But even though he loved Cathy, I strongly believe he didn't love her enough. Because if he did, his revenge wouldn't have been as important as it was to him. But I don't care how much people gush over their epic love story, to me, Wuthering Heights will never be a love story. It's a story about how love destroyed the lives of so many people. It's the story about a journey of a man from once being an innocent little boy to the heartless monster he became on the quest for revenge. There's so much anguish and pain throughout the book but that's what makes it so brilliantly tragic.

Boy did I get carried away with that or what? This is why I didn't comment on it before because I knew once I started, it'll be hard to stop 😆 . Anyway, just wanted to say, good job with the Darcy reference. So glad you didn't make Heathcliff out to be some epic lover because he so WASN'T!!! And the way you described Swara's feelings towards not wanting to be so vulnerable and exposing herself emotionally in terms of love the way Heathcliff and Cathy did, brilliant 👏 . She is definitely a more Elizabeth to her Darcy!

This would have been Sanskaar of the serial before the entrance of Swara in his life...loved how you showed the emotions of both characters. Very real...when you have rejected the love, to claim it back it's more than difficult. The recipient might take your declaration of love as pity or as a thank you or as gratitude or simply as no way out...it's tough. For the other party, declaring it again, would mean forcing the person or asking for gratitude...Sanskaar will never lower his standards to that level... Poor Swara...

The entire story, so far, has been beautiful ! The angst superbly captured..the heartache, the heartbreak, the despair and the sheer misery eked out marvellously ! 👏

The Sanskar you've potrayed is what we'd like to see him as..at least...from a professional point of view! Successful, Confident, Smart and on Top..Personally though, he is at the rock bottom, despairing, miserable and completely alone ! What a super contrast !

Swara..desperate, miserable and so afraid of being separated forever..mirroring his angst, his heartache and his heartbreak! But I am relying on her to chase him down, catch him and tell him its the same with her ! Coz he has given her enough hints in his barrage of words today..enough signals for her to catch on to how it is with him ! Please make her do it !!👍🏼

Can I demand a reunion that has pictures please? Any of those we have in our galleries...? Your stories are so well drawn out, we can visualize them..If you add at least one pic..it'll be an absolute Treat !😃

May i say..this Swara Madam is a bit hyper and dramatic? Matlab I would have pulled him somewhere else by force and proposed. it seemed like a film scene in progress.

But thats a compliment..because I felt it to be a part of most Rom Coms I see...a huge grand thing..with onlookers around. and felt like dancing in the baraat myself.🥳
