Her once best friend fell in love with her?He didn't trust her when she told him the truth and now he degrades her and questions her character at every moment possible.

So now the one person who has remained as a pillar to her through out this rough ordeal, who has become her one best friend says that he loves her, so is she gonna start tap dancing?

She has been hurt by her first love,,,,,,she is bloody afraid of accepting that the same is happening to her again.

So ofcourse she is not gonna hug Sanskar and tell him its okay...Her emotions are jumbled,her thoughts scattered...she does not know how to confrony him...so she took the only way out.

ANGER...And for me its justified.

You will see that that she will remain unresponsive to him for some time now...but eventually she will come to handle it with more care and delicacy.

And Sanskar is not a child who will let Swara's words to hurt him...because he himself said that he is not sorry.So chill.

Really good post. I actually get the conundrum perfectly. This is the issue with tv shows- they have to show a heroine as "over good"- i mean, she has to be a veritable goddess in human form- she can have no flaws or imperfections, all those little traits and reactions which make us human and thus relatable, whether we like them or not. I just made a post about Sanskaar- that is why i love him- he isn't too good to be true but each of his traits make him interesting and IMO- the most interesting well fleshed out character on this show.

Getting back to Swara and the confrontation scene- i couldn't help be swayed by their chemistry and the romance these two exude- what to do, SwaSan shipper in true form! But yes, her reaction i felt was overdone BUT I justified it to myself by thinking that she is reacting so OTT because she is actually fighting her own feelings. I just commented on Kavya's post and she seems to be thinking like me that this is all one of those- I will get angry and deflect and pretend none of this is happening and I will now keep you at a mega distance. Just the way she was denying her connection to him seemed forced to me- she was trying to talk herself into it i felt.

I totally agree that her reaction was totally moronic- i mean, now you can't be his friend and he's somehow betrayed you, even though he's saying he can't help being in love with you and isn't thrusting his feelings on you?! But that moronic-ness almost makes me think that this is her defence mechanism and she will now start to open up the floodgates, unwillingly, of seeing him as more than a friend.

But it was like omg 😲 no friendship. Comon that guy never touched you inspite of being in love woth you. How can you be afraid of him now(as she was stepping back from him,earlier she used to hug him) He never asked you to fall in love with him. And what is changed? He loved you earlier as well. Only you got to know it now. N you can love him back as a friend too. You could have said that i ll fill the place of love as a bestfriend.
No doubt we know she ll fall for him but for now she should have not behaved that way 😭 🤢 it was quite rude. Now she ll blame sanky for kidnapping lux ji 😡

I expected anger, frustration, a certain degree of disbelief. All perfectly understandable. Saying that she could never love him back: would be fine, completely in tune with what she is feeling right now.

But, and this is IMHO, saying that from now on, this friendship means zilch, is OTT. I am not blaming Swara the character here, but somewhere I feel the dialogue writers today did not do justice to her ingrained sense of value of relationships. They could have chosen a better template for her to show her anger and frustration, that's all.

It was an inconsiderate dialogue, very unlike Swara.
