CHAPTER 19

NEXT MORNING

Ragini very slowly opened her eyes as the sun rays hit her face just to see laksh who was looking at her while his head was supported by his elbow. Ragini smiled a little.

Ragini: laksh? Ap yun humay dekh rahay hain, kia soch rahay hain ap?

Her voice was like a melody to his ears, laksh placed his palm on her cheek

Laksh: dekh raha tha kai tum koi sapna nahi ho sach ho, hakikat ho

Ragini closed her eyes feeling shy: sapnay hakikat sai zada khoobsurat hotay hain

Laksh gently planted a kiss on her forehead and placed his head next to her closing his eyes too

"kabhi kabhi aisa hota hai

Jagay jagay koi sota hai

Bin chahy dil khota hai

Kahin aisa na hojaye"

Laksh held her hand: pichlay teen mahino ka har din tumhari soch kai sath, tumhaary ehsas mai hi guzra hai . magar agar aj ki hakikat tum ho ragini toh mujhay nahi lagta koi bhi sapna meri iss hakikat sai khubsurat hoga

"kab armaan machlein gai

Kisko hai yeh pata

Kab mausam badlein gai

Ragini turned around and hugged laksh and he hugged her back feeling her close to him. he then left her and got out of bed while ragini got up in a sitting position. Laksh forward his hand towards her and ragini looked at him

Laksh: chalo aoo.. ready hojao then breakfast and then medicine

He smiled and ragini was touched by his care she took his hand

"pyar ho jata hai kaisay

Janay na dil tera"

she went to washroom to freshen up while laksh sighed in relief finally ragini was with him safe and secure and he was deeply, irrevocably in love with her. He smiled looking at the mirror, the last few months without her was like hell and today he was feeling so alive like he has got his strength back, his reason to live. Ragini came out wearing a purple saree her hairs were wet. Laksh looked at her and he was lost in her. Was the feeling which he was going through real? Ragini smiled back and then looked down. Laksh looked down too both of them were feeling shy and then both looked at each other together and smiled

"nazar say nazar milay

Toh dekhay gi ankhein sapna"

Ragini moved to the side as laksh stood beside her giving her a shy look and then entering the washroom

"jo yun koi sath chalay

Toh lagnay lagay ga apna"

IN KITCHEN

Swara and sanskaar were both wearing apron

Swara : sanskaar please tum jao yahan sai tum mera kaam aur barhao gai

Sanskaar smirked: nahi swara mai yahan sai kahi nahi janay wala mai toh tumhari help karon ga

Swara made a face and was about to go when sanskaar held her hand and pulled her towards him, swara dashed into his chest and sanskaar put his both arms around her waist

Swara was stunned and looked here and there trying to push him: sanskaar ki kar rahay ho? Yeh kitchen hai yahan yeh sab nahi chalta .. aur agar dadi nai dekh lia na toh phir said ant khao gai

Sanskaar smiled lookin at her face

Sanskaar: mai kia karon meri wife itni beautiful hai kai I can't control (and whispered) kahin bhi kabhi bhi ;)

Swara was about to say something but then she blushed and looked back at him

"baat jo barhay gi baat baat main

Khwab hi khwab hongay har raat mai"

Swara: acha ji?

She put her arm around his neck and sanskaar got startled seeing swara responding and that too in a kitchen

Sanskaar: hmmm

Swara came closer to his face: kahin bhi kuch bhi?

She asked while sanskaar smiled naughtily

"hoga jab pyar tujhay

Hoga na karar tujay

Tu yeh soch lai"

Sanskaar was ready to kiss her when swara suddenly threw flour on his face and ran around the stove counter and sanskaar was shocked

Sanskaar: swara you are gone

And he ran after her as swara laughed loudly, sanskaar tried to catch her but she was out of his reach so he threw the flour from around the counter. Swara stopped and laughed and sanskaar came to her and hugged her from behind

"aye ga paas kai jo dur hai

Maan ja kai hona yeh zaror hai"

Sanskaar: yahi charm miss karta tha mai meri swara ka charm. I love you mrs maheshwari

Swara closed her eyes as tears welled up in her eyes: I love you 2 sanskaar

"kai dil toh deewana hai

Kab yeh mana hai

Tu yeh soch lai"

AT dining table

Shekhar sat with his mom and dad, swara and sankaar sat on the opposite side and sharmishta came out of kitchen placing the plate on tables then she placed ragini's plate and remembered the previous days . swara looked at her

Swara: maa aj apki ragu apkay sath beth kai hi khana khaye gi

Sharmishta smiled: yeh ragu aur laksh kahan hain?

Sanskaar: maa ap bethiye shaid unko aj anay maid air hosakti hai

Dada ji coughed and swara looked at sanskaar going and sitting beside him whispering

Swara: besharmi ki bhi hadh hoti hai sanskaar

Sanskaar hided his laugh: abhi meri besharmi dekhi hi kahan hai

STAIRS

Ragini stood on the top of the stairs, she was still weak to walk that much, laksh came from behind and stood beside her trying to hook his watch. Ragini smiled and helped him . ragini was looking at his wrist and laksh was looking at ragini smiling , her hairs were touching his face. Ragini looked at laksh as he was lost looking at her . ragini looked the other way

Ragini: ehum ehum

Laksh came back to his senses and started to fix his hairs while ragini tried not to laugh

Ragini: chalein

As she was about to go, laksh stopped her by holding her hand

Ragini: kia howa laksh

Instead of replying laksh bend a little and swooped ragini in his arms

"teray liye hi jiya mai

Khud ko joy u dai diya hai"

Ragini was stunned as laksh started to go down through the stairs. Both of them were looking at each other as laksh descended the stairs

"teri wafa nai mujhko sambhala

Saray ghumo ko dil sai nikala"

As they came down, ragini was still in his arms

Ragini: laksh humay neechay utariye please

Laksh put her down and cupped her face

Laksh: meray hotay vay ab tumhay kisi problem ko face nahi karna paray ga ragini

"teray sath mera hai naseeb jura

Tujhay pakay adhora na raha"

Laksh: ku kai main hoon ab

Ragini hugged him: humay yakeen nahi ata kai jis khwab ko humnay dekha tha wo aj ap sach kar rahay hain.. humay darr lagta hai laksh kahin yeh khubsurat zindagi humsay kisi nai cheen li toh? Hum toh larr bhi ni saktay

Laksh kissed her head: tumhara laksh hai na tumharay sath, tumhay larnay ki zarorat ni paray gi. Aur madam apki behna bhi toh hain . meray baray bhai ki patni swara sanskaar maheshwari. Unki jaan basti hai tumay so chill. Laksh nai apna luck tumhay da dia hai

Both of them smiled

Finally they were together

"ku ki tum hi ho"

A month later

AT MAHESHWARI MANSION

Swasan and raglak were back to maheshwari mansion and everything seemed so good and alright. Both sisters lighted the house much to the pleasure of everyone but sujata was very unhappy with swara and never accepted her from heart but she was quite because of her son sanskaar. She just needed a way to get rid of swara which seemed impossible. Durga parsad maheshwari the man of words started to take ragini as his own daughter when he saw that laksh's life revolved around ragini. Annapurna treated both swaragini equally as her daughters. And knew that they were the reason of the happiness. She has never seen her family so happy .

Laksh was ready to go to office when he saw ragini placing the flowers in the vase. She played with them and laksh smile looking at her cuteness. She was the essence of his life. sanskaar came from back home from office and tapped laksh's shoulder and laksh looked at him

Sanskaar smirking : lucky wo teri hi biwi hai. Filhal ja bade papa has called you

Laksh looked back at ragini as he went

Sanskaar came down to ragini: ragini

Ragini stood up and smiled

Sanskaar: swara kidhar hai

Ragini teased him : ku sanskaar aisa kia kaam hai?

Sanskaar: not you ragini

Ragini hided her smile: acha acha jayee swara apnay kamray mai hai

Sanskaar smiled and went to his room as he opened the door he saw swara trying to wear a saree

Sanskaar burst out laughing

Swara turned around : sanskaar ismay hasnay ki kia baat hai?

Sanskaar threw the file on the bed coming close to her

Sanskaar: agar saree nahi pehni jati toh ku pehnti ho? You look beautiful in what you wear

Swara wore her pallu and placed it properly: that is because I want to impress your mother

Sanskaar looked at her lovingly and kissed her head

Sanskaar: yeh efforts mat karo jaan

Swara: sanskaar mai chahti hoon kai wo bhi humsay khush hoon. Hum dono khush hain par wo maa hain

Sanskaar: kash maa dekh pati kai tum kia ho.

Swara arched her eyebrow: kia hoo mai?

She was curious. Sanskaar grabbed her waist putting his hand on it: tum mer jaan ho, meri dhakan ho. You are a magician

Swara: aur

Sanskaar: aur I love you like anything

Swara: kavita sai bi zada

Sanskaar suddenly left her and was still by her question .

Swara: I am sorry sanskaar wo galti sai mu sai nikal gaya.. please sanskaar

He turned around

Sanskaar: haan kavita sai bhi zada

She was stunned

Sanskaar: kavita kai pyar nai mujhsy galat karwaya .. aur tumaharay pyar nai toh aek tareekay sai dobara jeena seekhaya aur bhi khud keliye nahi dosron keliye.. kavita aur tumhara koi muqabla nahi swara..wo aj jahan kahin bhi hogi bohat khush hogi yeh dekh kai that I have got my life

He hugged her and she hugged him back passionately

Swara: itna pyar kartay ho mujsy?

Sanskaar: bohat karta hoon. Don't ever leave me..

RAGLAK ROOM

Ragini was setting her dressing table when her phone ringed she went to side table and looked at the mobile screen which was flashing

"laksh calling"

Ragini smiled whole-heartedly and receive the call

Ragini: ji laksh?

Laksh: itna time ku laga? Are you okay? Tabiat theek hai na

Ragini: ji laksh bilkul theek hai

Laksh: paka? Medicine lit hi na?

Ragini smiled: laksh subah apnay hi toh khilai thi.

Laksh: haan . so did you missed me?

Ragini laughed : laksh abhi paanch minute pehlay message pai likha tha na jab apnay yahi sawal pocha tha?

Laksh smiled : haan toh kia howa.. I need to know.. chalo bolo

Ragini blushed : laksh ap bhi na..

Laksh: ragini I am waiting mujhy suna hai.

Ragini was shy: ji I miss you and I love you

Laksh: hayeee

Ragini cut the call and turned around to see laksh standing at the door

Ragini: laksh ap?

Ragini moved ahead and laksh came to her picking her up and revolving

Ragini: laksh ap yeh kia kar rahay hain.. humay neechay utariyeee laksh please

Ragini was smiling and laksh was immensely happy and revolving with ragini in his arm

He put her down : kaisa laga surprise?

Ragini: laksh apko kia hogya hai?

Laksh: tumsay pyar...

He acted to fall on her while she supported him

Laksh: chichi swara ko jadugarni kehti hain. I guess unhay tumhay kehna chai.. tumhaary ilawa kuch nazar ni ata.. hasi bhi tum, nami bhi tum, asmaan bhi tum aur zameen bhi tum

Ragini turned around to go : laksh ap pagal hogye hain

Laksh came before her: tumharay pyar mai..

Ragini: acha ap itni jaldi wapis ku agaye?

Laksh: aek file reh gait hi and by the way kia aek pati apni patni sai milnay ni asakta?

Ragini smiled while she grabbed the file and gave it to him and pushed him towards the door

Ragini: chaliyee ab nikliyee jayee bas hogya

Laksh stopped and kissed her cheek while running. Ragini touched her cheek and smiled..

If beautiful life meant this , a sister who can give her life, a family who looks after her happiness and a husband who was her life. then she was scared if she lost any of them . few tears skipped through her eyes...

NEXT WEEK

Swara ran towards the stairs. Everyone went out it was just her and ragini in the house... adarsh bhaiya and parinneta bhabhi went to lunch and bade papa bade maa with sujata mom and papa went to baadi for something . and both sanskaar and laksh were at office..

Ragini ran ahead as she has grabbed swara's phone when she was talking to sanskaar and now swara was running behind her..

Swara: ragini mera phone doo

Ragini: nahi daein gai.. kia keh rai thi sanskaar sai.. sanskaar hum apsay bohat pyar kartay hain aur kia

Swara: ragini.. mai tmsay bari hoon . tum yeh sab mujsy yeh sab ni bol sakti aur jaisay tum laksh ko yeh sab nahi kehti

Ragini laughed and stod while panting as she was tired from running

Ragini: acha baba yeh lo

She returned her phone . suddenly ragini's phone started to ring and both of them looked at her phone swara ran and grabbed it as it was still ringing

Swara : ab laksh ki caal hai na ni uthanay doon gi..

She ran and ragini was after her : swara tumnay kafi baat karli thi sanskaar sai kamazkum humay laksh sai baat toh karnay doo..

Swara : no way ragu

Both of them laughed they were acting like kids. Swara tripped over something and the phone fell.

Swara : oh God yeh to toot gaya...

Swara looked sadly at ragini

Ragini came running towards her and looked at her foot: tum theek ho na.. phone toh aur bhi ajye ga..

Ragini hugged her and she hugged her back: chalo aj mai apni behen ko aek naya phone dilwati hoon..

Ragini: haan yeh sahi rahay ga..

Both of them decided to go for shopping

2 hours later

The elders return home with shekhar sharmishta and dadi dadaji and looked at the house which was messed up .

Durga parsad: yeh sab kia hai?

Annapurna: pata ni yeh sab kaisay...

She called: swara beta... raginiii betay kahan ho tum log dekho tumhary maa baba aye hain

Shekhar : swaragini kahan hain

Sujata: shekhar ji yeh baat toh apki chorian hi bata sakti hain..

Dadi: ladoo... Swara kahan ho ..

Suddenly laksh came running calling out : raginiii

Everyone looked at laksh

Laksh: papa maa yeh sab kia hai? Ragini kahan hai?

Dadi: yeh sawal toh maray ko tanay pochna chai kahan hai maari ladoo?

Sanskaar came back home too : ap sb yahan?

He looked at sujata: mom main kabsay swara ko phone kar raha hoon wo utha hi ni rai

He called again and swara's phone ran in the house ..

Sujata: phone toh ithay hai.. magar yeh chorian kidhar hain.. manay toh pagal kar davein gi

Laksh was hell tensed when he saw ragini's phone broken

Laksh: yeh toh ragini ka phone hai

Sharmishta was scared for her daughters now : meri betiyan kidhar hain ?

She demanded looking at both laksh and sanskaar

Laksh an sanskaar looked at each other . they were losing their senses thinking if anything happened to ragini or swara

Dadi: shekhar manay pehlay hi kaha tha kai apni dono bachiyon ko na bhej yahan par tanay mana nahi ab dekh mari potiyon ko kuch hogya na toh dekh laina...

Annapurna : ap aisay mat kahiye wo humari bhi kuch lagti hain..

Laksh had tears when suddenly everyone heard swaragini entering while they laughed..

Everyone turned and looked at them. Swaragini went quite looking at serious faces of everyone.
