Swaragini ff: Kahin Toh

CHAPTER 20

As swaragini entered and saw everyone serious and saw their parents and dadi their, swara who was holding ragini's hand looked at her in nervousness while ragini got serious. Sharmishta ran to both of them and hugged them crying. Laksh sighed looking at ragini safe and he was more relief seeing her with swara. For laksh he knew that ragini who was the face of innocence is far away from the harsh realities of the world and the people and only he himself or swara her elser sister could take care of her. Sanskaar looked straight in swara's eyes as while hugging her mother she asked from her eyes that what the matter was. Sharmishta looked at both of them and asked: shona .. ragu kahan thi tum don? Tum dono theek toh ho na? yeh ghar ki halat dekh kai toh hum sab darr gaye thay? Aur ragu tera phone kaisay toot gaya

Sharmishta put her palm on ragini's face but ragini was scared and she didn't replied

Sharmishta: aur swara tum bhi apna phone nahi laikay gai? Akhir gai kahan thi tum dono?

Sujata came forward: sharmishta ji apko apni dono betiyon ko na thora seekhana chai kai sasural mai kis tareekay sai rehtay hain. Yahan sab inkay liye pareshan horahay thy aur yeh

She grabbed the packet from swara's hand and showed to all: yeh dono choriyan shopping kar rahi thi

Annapurna: sujata chup raho . unko bolnay toh doo

Sharmishta : swara mai kuch poch rai hoon? Jawab doo kidhar thi tum dono?

Swara : maa wo hum dono ..

She looked down not able to speak

Sharmishta: bolooo (she shouted a bit) kuch poch rai hoon tumsay?

Ragini started to cry: maa wo humara phone toot gaya that oh hum bazaar gaye thay naya phone lanay.

Swara: mujsay galti sai toot gaya that oh yeh idea mera tha

Sujata: tharay sai umeed bhi kia ki jasakti hai. Kaam kai naam pai toh jaan nikalti hai bas ghuma phira lo

Sharmishta was about to slap swara when ragini held her hand stopping her hand and when sharmishta loked at her in anger ragini looked down leaving her hand

Ragini: maa please wo pehlay humnay hi swara ka phone pakra tha isliye uss sai galti sai hogya .. humay maaf kardeejay

Sanskaar to swara: how irresponsible swara . ragini toh choti hai par tum toh bari ho samjhdaar ho . you could at least inform before going out.

Sharmishta: Annapurna ji mujhay aur meri betiyo ko maaf kardeejay. Shekhar mujhy lagta hai ab humay chalna chai

Shekhar looke at his both daughters and then went

Laksh without speaking another word went to his room, ragini looked at him sadly and followed him

Rest all went to their rooms too

Swara stood their looking at sanskaar

Sanskaar: kamray mai chalo

Swara held his hand: I am sorry sanskaar I know mujhay btana chai tha inform karna chai tha par meray demag sai nikal gaya..

Sanskaar turned around cupping her face and joining his forehead with hers : swara par sab darr gaye thay .. lucky darr gaya tha aur mai.. I have called like 50 times ..

Swara: sorry kaha na.. maaf kardo na .. agay sai aisa ni hoga.. I am responsible enough and you know that . wo bas ragini kai sath mai baki sab kuch bhool jati hoon

Sanskaar came closer : mujhay bhi?

Swara smiled : nahi.. tum har wakt meray dil aur demag mai hotay ho ..

Sanskaar put his arm around her waist

Swara: sanskaar hum room mai nahi hain

Sanskaar: toh?

Swara: toh kia. Koi bhi asakta hai

Sanskaar: acha?

He swopped swara in his arms and she was stunned by his move: toh theek hai kamray mai chaltay hain

Swara: sanskaar tum bhi na

Both of the laughed.

Ragini peeked through the door and saw laksh standing near the window, she came inside and locked the door. Ragini went and stood behind laksh. Laksh closed his eyes as he felt her presence behind him

Laksh: ragini iss wakt mujhy tumsay koi baat nahi karni

Laksh turned around to go but ragini blocked his way, laksh tried to sneak from the other side but ragini came in from of him again. Ragini being so close was a very pleasant distraction, laksh knew he would give up on his anger any moment because ragini is too cute to be angry at.

Laksh: ragini yeh kia hai. Hatoo meray rastay sai, I said I don't want to talk right now

He moved towards the bed and ragini was on the verge to cry but she knew mistake was hers and she need to apologize . ragini went to laksh again and put her head on his back. And laksh controlled himself

Ragini: humay maaf kardeejay laksh

Laksh moved away and this was the limit for ragini, she cried and laksh regretted making her cry , he went to her and wiped her tears but more tears started to flow from her eyes

Laksh: please mat roo. I can't see you crying at all. It feels I am dying every moment

Ragini covered his mouth: aisa kabhi mat boliye jaga laksh. Humari zindagi apsay hi hai

"mai jaan yeh vaar doon

Har jeet bhi haar doon

Keemat ho koi tujhay be-inteha pyar doon"

Ragini: yeh toh humari kismat hai kai ap humay mil gaye warna apka intezar to hum puri zindagi bhi karlaity

Laksh put both his hand on her cheeks cupping her face : aur tum toh mujsy dur bhi chali gait hi na. mai tumhari yadon kai sath pori zindagi jeenay keliye tyar tha, itna pyar karta hoon tumsay

Laksh came closer to her and kissed her tears while she brought her hands putting them on laksh's hand. They could feel each other fully. Laksh could feel her every curve, ragini was feeling weak

"sari hadein meri

Ab mainy tor dii

Daikay mujhy pata

Awargii bangayee, haan hasi ban gaye haan name bangaye

Tum meray asmaan meri zameen bangaye"

Laksh: please mujhsay dur mat jana, please ragini mai nahi jee paon ga.. I won't able to survive .. I wont

He repeated and ragini hugged him tightly, laksh held her tightly and her body was pressed against his

Sanskaar brought swara in their room in his arms and went towards the bed and threw her on the bed

Swara: ouchhh sanskaar yeh kia tha

Sanskaar smirked: this is for the tension you gave me today

Swara slapped his arm while sanskaar took out a packet and gave her. Swara took it in excitement : yeh kia hai

Sanskaar put his arms around her and she laid back with her back supported with sanskaar

Sanskaar: khol kai toh dekho

Swara opened it and there was a cap with swara's name on it

Swara: wow its so cool par yeh ku?

Sanskaar: because my darling wife (he kissed her cheeks) kal hum sab picnic par ja rahay hain

Swara: picnic?

Sanskaar: yes.. bade papa ko farm pai aek kaam hai and then later hum sab wahan family picnic manein gai

Swara hugged him: yayy wowww kitna maza aye ga na

NEXT MORNING

Ragini was getting ready for the picnic from the last half an hour standing in front of the mirror and laksh was in awww looking at her lovingly from behind sitting on the couch. Ragini was wearing dark blue velvet blouse with pink and brown saree and drape. Ragini sae laksh looking at her she looked down

Ragini: laksh ap humay (she smiled shyly) ap humay nervous kar rahay hain

Laksh stood up coming behind her and back hugging her

Laksh: dil ki dharkanein barha raha hoon?

Ragini: laksh please

Laksh teased her: ragini please

Laksh looked at the mirror image of them while ragini was looking down , he brought his hand under her chin and make her see at their reflection. Ragini saw them and she smiled and blushed at the same time

Laksh: hayeee ..

Laksh make her wear a cap with ragini's name on it and she smiledlooking in mirror

Ragini: yeh kitni pyari hai

Laksh: tumsay zada nahi .

Ragini excitingly turned around : hum abhi swara ko dekha kai atay hain

Laksh was adoring her as she ran out stopping in mid way when she saw swara coming to her while wearing her cap with her name on it. Swara was wearing a purple anarkali, swara looked at ragini both of them smiled

Swara: ragini tumnay bhi cap pehni hai

Ragini: haan humay laksh nai lakai dii

Swara: aur mujhy sanskaar nai

Both sanskaar and laksh came from their respective rooms

Sanskaar: wow ragini looking cute in the cap

Laksh: swara tum bohat cute lag rai ho

Swaragini : thank you

Sanskaar: kal office sai anay kai baad hum dono nai sath hi lit hi for picnic

Laksh: customized cap

All of them smiled

PICNIC VENUE

Everyone was enjoying. All the ladies were wearing a cap with their names on it so was the men of Maheshwari family . sanskaar and swara were sitting together talking while ragini was with Annapurna and laksh was with his dad. Laksh and ragini were talking in eyes doing isharay baazi . later it was decided that all will play cricket and it was girls vs boys . all the maheshwari ladies were in one team and all the boys were in other teams. Everyone stood in front of their better half but in the opposite team. Sujata was in front of Ramm parsad and Annapurna was in front of Durga parsad ji and then Adarsh and parnieeta in fron of each other. Then swara showed her finger to sanskaar in total challenging way

Swara: mr captain harnay keliye tyar hojaye

Sanskaar touched her finger with his: we will see mrs captain

Both of the huffed going to their teams.

Laksh gave the bat to ragini and smiled : dehan sai

Ragini smiled back when laksh touched her nose

Ragini: all the best

Both of them were lost in eachother when swara grabbed ragini's hand and sanskaar held laksh's

Swara to ragini: ragini wo dushman team hai . lets go

Sanskaar to laksh: focus lucky, FOCUS

Laksh looked at ragini who was dragged by swara : wohi toh kar raha hoon bhai

Sanskaar slapped laksh playfully: I meant on game.. chal ab

The girls team won the toss and they choose to bat first..

The first pair to go was parineeta and Annapurna

Swara: come on bade maa and bhabi you can do it..

Ragini clapped for them..

Adarsh threw the first fall and parineeta got bold

The boys shouted and sanskaar and laksh ran and hugged adarsh

Laksh: wah bhaiyaa kia ball thi..

Sanskaar: bhaiya you are too good

Next was ragini as she came to the field laksh was looking at her, his face had a smirk

"Rab nay banaya sabko

Par kaun btaye Rabko

Markay tumpay hum saans laity hain"

Ragini took the bat and stood in the batting position

Ragini prayed: humay pehli ball pai out ni hona

Adarsh thre the next ball and ragini closed her eyes hitting the bat to the ball and the ball went high up in the air . laksh ran to catch

Sanskaar: lucky catch it

Ragini made a crying face and as laksh looked at her he was amused seeing her.. she looked utterly cute. Laksh dropped the catch deliberately while his eyes were still focused on ragini. Sanskaar slapped his forehead saying: iska kuch nahi hosakta

Ragini clapped in excitement as she smiled to laksh

"rab sai karon jo duein

Ab yeh tujhi tak jaein

Tu jo sunlay

Toh suntan yeh Rab hai"

Later Annapurna got out and swara came to pitch on the batting position and ragini was on the running side. Sanskaar was balling

Adarsh: swara your husband is a really fast baller

Swara nodded : bring it on sanskaar Maheshwari

Sanskaar smiled looking at her enthusiasm

Sanskaar: get ready for an how iz that..

Sanskaar ran to throw the ball just stopping when swara winked at him, sanskaar was shocked and he threw a slow ball and swara threw a sixer.

Swara: tch tch tch ... focus mr husband

Sanskaar: that's cheating

Swara : kia kiya maine

Durga parsad who was the empire : haan sanskaar kia kiya swara nai

Swara made an innocent face

Sanskaar: bade papa isnay mujhy..

Then he stopped realizing that what he was about to say

Sanskaar: kuch nahi bade papa

Both the sisters did a great batting, sanlak were surprised. Swara did most of the sixer and ragini was good at running.. both swaragini was so happy running, laughing getting excited

Now it was boys turn

Adarsh got run out, and now it was sanskaar and laksh. Sujata was balling and sanskaar was batting laksh was on running side. As sanskaar threw the ball high both swara and ragini ran to catch but got banged in each other falling down .

Swara: ahhh

Ragini: ouchhh

Laksh ran towards ragini and sanskaar ran towards swara . laksh too the fallen cap and make ragini wear it and sanskaar make swara wear the other one. The caps got exchanged as ragini was wearing the cap with swara's name and so was swara who was wearing the cap with ragini's name

Swara: ragini tumnay meri cap pehan li aur shaid maine tumhari

Sujata: toh kai hogya? Naam badalnay sai kismatein thori na badalti hain , kass kai badal sakti hoti

Everyone looked confused at sujata

Annapurna: sujata kuch bhi bolti ho tum . mujhy lagta hai bohat khel hogya ab khana khaya jayee

2 weeks later

Recently parineeta got to know that she can never be a mother in her life. Everyone was dealing with the sadness, they accepted it as adarsh announced that soon they will adopt a kid. Durga parsad was against this decision, as usual sujata blamed for this catastrophe to swara.. Who got very sad ragini even cried a lot.

Laksh came back from office and looked around to see one face he wanted to see the first thing and that was ragini's, but she wasn't around. Laksh came down putting his office bag on the sofa, as he sat down he saw the envelop on the table . laksh stood up and held the envelop as he read

"reports of mrs maheshwari"

Laksh opened it and was shocked as he read the reports, he sat back as he digested this new piece of news. He didn't knew how to react. The reports stated that mrs maheshwari pregnancy test were positive. Laksh stood up as he smiled read the results again. He ran towards his room and looked around to find ragini coming out of the washroom drying her hairs. Laksh grabbed the towel from her and threw it on the bed and held her by her arms and revolved around happily. Ragini was shocked by his reaction

Ragini: laksh? Yeh ap kia kar rahay hain? Rukiyeee please

He stopped and panted while still smiling: I am sorry .. I am so sorry you okay na?

He hugged her

Ragini: ji hum theek hain par apko kia howa hai?

Laksh coming out of the hug: ragini aj mai itna khush hoon na... I can't explain it.. you have given me the best gift of the world. A little ragini

He hugged her again as ragini realized what he said

Ragini: kia?

Laksh: ragini humari toh aek cute si pyari si baby doll hogi. And usay sabsay pehlay mai uthaon ga and uska naam hum angel rakhein gai. I can't believe meri beti? My daughter (he repeated it) kahan mai shadi sai darta tha and now I am going to be a father . you will see ragini mai apni doll kai sath kitna wakt guzaron ga

Ragini: laksh ye hap kia keh rahay hain . aisi koi baat ni hai.

Laksh: ragini aisa mazak ni okay.. I have seen the reports and they are positive mrs maheshwari

He planted a kiss on ragini's forehead

Ragini took the reports and saw the: laksh hum aisa mazak ni kartay apko pata hai na.. yeh reports humari ni hain

Laksh went silent as he realized ragini was serious, he got carried away with the excitement he held her hands

Laksh: I am sorry wo reports pai mrs maheshwari likha that oh I thought parineeta bhabhi toh hongi nahi so

He was thinking when ragini freed her hands from him as she realized what that meant she was stunned and happy at the same time : swara..

Both ragini and laksh looked at each other and then smiled while ragini ran towards swara's room . as ragini opened the door she saw swara sitting on the bed. Ragini went and make her stand and hugged her. Swara hugged her back but she was amazed by her reaction

Ragini while crying : humay maasi maa bnany keliye shukriyaa

Swara faced ragini as her eyes welled up, laksh entered too and showed swara the reports

Swara cried : sach?

Ragini: haan hum maasi banay wali hain aur tum maa.. humay toh yakeen nahi araha .

Swara was still not believing: maine toh yuhi test kra liye thy, jo parineeta bhabhi kai sath howa uskay baad mai darr gait hi par yeh sab sach hai?

Sanskaar entered and saw all of them: kia howa sabko

He saw ragini crying: kia howa ragini?

He turned towards swara: swara tum bhi ro rai ho kia howa?

Sanskaar then asked from laksh: lucky tub hi?

Laksh handed him the reports and sanskaar go through them and was taken aback he looked at swara and then again to the reports

Laksh: congratz bhai.. and thank you mujhay chachu bnanay keliye

Sanskaar smiled but then he was serious as he moved towards swara all the moment came back in front of him when he met swara and how it all started with a revenge and then gradually she became his life.

"teray liye har roz hain jeetay

Tujhko dia mera wakt sabhi"

Sanskaar held swara's hand and remembered how they got married by both their choices. The fall on bed and breaking it. The fall on sofa. How he use to give her his hankies because he wanted her happy. He never thought of living forget a life after kavita died but swara came and brought whole new reason to feel alive.

Sanskaar sat on his knees looking at her , swara looked at him as tears fell from her eyes

Sanskaar: thank you for making my life worth it

With that he hugged swara still sitting on his knees. He hugged her around her waist and put his head on her stomach saying: my baby

They cried

Ragini and laksh looked at them and prayed that for their happiness to be like that for ever.

6 months later

Time was flowing like a wind, happiness were growing more and more . 2 months ragini got to know that she was expecting too. Laksh went crazy after learning the news . so ragini was 4 months pregnant and swara was 6 months pregnant . Maheshwari mansion knew no bounds of happiness. Annapurna took great care of both swara and ragini as sujata paid no heads to swara. Sanskaar was noticing it all but kept quite as swara asked him to give mom time. Gadodia's were ready to welcome both their grand children. Laksh had already announced that he wanted daughter and no arguments. swara wanted a boy for him and sanskaar.

Laksh: ragini chalo?

Ragini: laksh kia uss jaga jana zarori hai?

Laksh sat beside her holding her hand : ragini purani baton ko yad mat karo.. bhool jao hum wahan dono babies ko blessing diwanay ja rahay hain. Humari beti keliye itna nahi karo gi?

Ragini: laksh ap bhi na.. apko kaisay pata beti hi hai

Laksh: pyar ki shurwat beshak tumnay kit hi par mera pyar tumsay bohat zada hai isliye I know its our angel jo humari life mai sirf happiness laye gi

Ragini hugged him

On the same bridge where once upon a time ragini pushed swara

Swara: chalo ragini phool bahany chalo na

Ragini : nahi nahi swara I am not feeling good mai whaan ni jaon gi please

Swara: ragini acha acha calm down.. mat jao lao mai tumahary phool phenk doon gi

Laksh: mai yahin rukta hoon ragini kai paas . sanskaar bhai uss traf hain arahy hongay

Swara took a phool and gave it to ragini while kissing it: yeh meri cute si angel keliye

Ragini smiled, swara turned to go while ragini was not feeling god at all as she remembered the day she pushed swara into the river. Those memories were haunting her today

Swara went and threw the flowers in the river praying, sanksaar was coming back from the other side and the full family was behind him, as he was walking his foot got stuck into an empty space and he cried

Sanskaar: ahhh

Swara turned around and saw sanskaar in pain, she was about to run but instead her foot slipped and she fell into the river. Laksh who ran towards her and jumped in the river too. Sanskaar looked at both of them in shock. While ragini who was getting the old flashes went her image going blur and she fainted.

Sanskaar: swaraaa.. lakshhh
