We all feel, it's unfair if only QH, SH and IPK stories getting shifted. Check the top 3 Shows. They don't have such rules and so, they get better ranking. This rule started with DMG and MJHT, and was used by many FORUMS like IPKKND, EHMMBH, D3, SHQ, etc. This rule wasn't brought in for the ranking of the shows, but to keep the forum clean. For forums like SHQ, D3, IPK etc, there happen to be more FFs/OSes than actual discussion topics, which is why this rule comes into effect. Go to forums like YHM and stuff and check them out. They have more discussion topics as opposed to stories, while the opposite holds true for SHQ and D3 and other forums. And D3 still has the FF shifting rule. I know it cause I moderated D3 till 2 months ago, and I'd know if there was a change in the rule.

I know DT's or AT's need to get closed. But it's a rules right? So, if it's old or new Topic, it should be closed right ? So why other forums don't do that? All topics over 150 pages are closed. Be it FF or IPK or SHQ or JR or BB. Sometimes, forums with very low activity may not have their threads closed cause members follow the rules and don't spam the thread after 150 pages. And seriously, is this such a pressing matter? Closing of threads post 150 pages?

And about Mandy, she is really very active and trying to solve everything and help everyone. I, myself saw it, she transfers all the Topics with only pics to PG. And that's really great of her. :) and whenever you pm her, you are getting reply just in 12 hours. And about the FF's getting shifted late, do you think people would report them to shift? Everyone on the forum wants the stories related to SH to stay in SH forum only. And I don't think they will report it. But as you said, sometimes I reported them to Mandy and it was really hard to check the forum and find 15 pages stories. But still, we all think it's unfair towards SH forum and towards SH writers to only shift their stories and not other show's related stories. For example I am writing MaNan story, and it reach 3 threads, and then forum is more active than SH forum. Don't you think other forums needs to have that rules aswell? And YHm forum too. And all the other top 10 shows. Refer to the point I made above regarding to why are stories moved in the first place.

She has been given the responsibility because she is able to handle it. As for stickying and unstickying, instead of PMing, you can always reports. Saves time for you and the DT member in question. Also, fun fact: even if you get a DT, you'll still mostly have to let them know what is to be stuck and not. Someone who will be accessible at the drop of a hat to stick topics moment they're opened? Cause that isn't gonna happen, really. Given how you've been a part of warring forums like DMG and now a peaceful, calm, and sorted forum like SHQ, I really fail to see exactly what is the issue here? And believe me, I talk from experience. I've moderated high traffic forums like BB and NB and EHMMBH and D3 and low traffic forums like EBI, so I've had my fair share of both the worlds.

2. Yes, I know the difference between a VB and a Mod and a CM and a GM as well. You do realise that a VB will also have many forums on hand? And not just one? So he/she will not be completely devoted to just SHQ?

3. And honestly, I fail to understand, what exactly does SHQ need a VB for. Like I am completely bamboozled at this point. What do you all expect from a VB (or the section DT) that Mandy fails to do?

Also, why the rage yo? This is a calm discussion where some of us are trying to wrap our heads around what exactly is a "dedicated DT" and what is it that the SHQ forum lacks, that there is such a petition every other month.

From what I'm gathering, the problem is you guys want more pages allowed before a story is moved.. to the FF forum. Which is fine, in fact. It makes my life as Moderator of the FF forum easier. So, instead of 'protesting' for it, drop Mandy a PM and tell her that you guys would like the number of pages permitted changed.

Otherwise, I dont see any problem here. What does "dedicated' mean in your dictionary. Just clarify it Naz. I'm just confused.
