Hello everyone,

We, the Sadda Haq Forum Members, have realized that I-F is biased towards Sadda Haq Forum. And we even complained it to mods but even they ignore it. But now, we will protest against this.
Sadda Haq Forum is one of the most acitve Forums on India-Forums since almost 2 years. There are many active Members and many active & new Topics on the Forum. We all have realized that NONE of the ON-GOING Show's Forum's have the Rules of Stories shifting to FF Section. First of all, we didn't mind that, it looked good and clean when the FF's got shifted, but after sometime even SS's and OS's are getting shifted! Why? SH related stories can't be in SH Forum? We accepted the fact, that the Forum was very chaotic with many Stories, but shifting them isn't the only solution/way. We, as the Sadda Haq Forum Members, request to Higher Moderators to accept our Requests.
If SH and some other Forums have such rules then why can't other active Forums have it? I mean, there are many active and on-going forums, then you can shift the Stories from that Forum's aswell as SH. But only shifting them from just 3 or 4 Forums is NOT FAIR! Ok, this FF topic isn't the only problem.
Many AT's and DT's getting closed on the Forum when it reaches 150 Pages. That's great, I mean, I have read the Rules that only 1 AT can be open in one time. But I have requested many other mods from other Forums to close up the very old AT's and DT's but they don't close them. If there is such a Rules, then everyone should contribute, or else it's not fair again!
Members from the Forum request Moderators for something, but the Topics get closed with a note and after that, they get ignored.
Sadda Haq Forum gets unnoticed even by the Tellybuzz's. Even a very inactive Forum gets soo many Articles and Videos related to uninteresting topics. SH is the one Young Based Show which is very interesting. Soo many interesting Track's happened in the Show but the Tellybuzz Team didn't even bother to give an article. We never requested for a Video, because we knew we won't get videos about Sadda Haq. There was a Topic related to changing Profile Pictures of the Cast's (Main leads). There was even a voting Thread and the Pictures got selected by the Members, mods closed it with a note that the request will be done soon, but it was more than 5 months ago and still no changes in the Profile Pictures.
2 Topics has been opened on the Forum by Forum Members and 1 Topic on this Forum, that they would like to have a dedicated moderator for the Forum, as it's a very active Forum and deserve a dedicated mod. But all of them got closed with a note and again that request got ignored. Many Forums which are just opened few weeks ago, gets 2 mods added in the Forum, so why not for SH Forum?
I wouldn't open a Topic related to this, but I couldn't see the Forum Members being ignored. I won't request mods to not close this, as it will be ignored again.

Well seriously this has become frustrating and tiresome...firstly the shifting of FFs after only 15 pgs is something that needs to be revised...if FF's have to be shifted, shift after they have completed at least 50 pgs...and if this rule has to be applied why apply in only 2-3 forums, apply it in all the forums...i guess asking for a dedicated mod who actually belongs to the forum and watches the show, is useless to ask for...i still cant digest the fact that no chaos in forum so no dedicated mod...the reason is i am very sorry to say very silly...i really do wonder do the members even have a voice here? for every time a topic is opened questioning about something it gets closed with a note, and yep the person who had opened the topic cant even counter question then...i agree with the post that we get videos and articles about shows which has got over long since and yet we dont get any videos and articles about Sadda Haq, despite the show featuring some high volatile tracks...I also agree on the not changing of profile pics point...it has been months and the pics have not yet been changed...

I do hope this time we get what we want...please stop closing topics without looking into the matter...and it would be nice if for once this topic is not ignored...

first thing.
if sh memebers working hard on this forum..make posts thn making them pink, ranking 5 stars on CM day n nyt but our vote dont get count which affects the forum rank.if there is a problm we india forums pls get it sorted bcz we know there is sumthing wrng

2nd thing
every forum get atleast 3-4 buzz n we get abt 2 in a months plz tell how is tat fair on us .. is it bcz sh is nt a saas bhau show tats why we dont get or bcz sh dont show that much kissing n close scenes or is it bcz died pplz dnt cum alive!?!?!
sh is the most realist show which we alot can relate to our life n the world around us. it deserve to be notice

we need a good mod for our forum who can keep the forum in check 24/7 not be active whenever it wont to be..we get soo sticker posts which mske forum look like a mess. we need sumone who help pplz like the new members.

we not asking much we just want to be where we desver to be!! sh forum if a 2nd home for most memebers n we just want ahead for our family

It was transferred!
SHQ was the first forum for me so I don't have experience in other forums... But I know that the topics are not closed that often in other forums!
Why do we(Sadda Haqians) always have to behave like the elder sibling and get over the fact that mods are ignoring us?
I'm the elder sister at home so I know the feeling and thats the same I'm feeling after knowing that yes mods ARE ignoring us... Mods are like parents of If.. They need to not have any favourite forum!
And I really want a mod who atleast shares the same feeling and watches the show..! Other show mods are viewers too..

Its also not that if are watching SHQ we also need to fight for our right? Is it!
I get it if mods closed other forums topics too.. But woh nhi ho rha hai and if it is! It's less in number!

P.s I don't have any thing to say.. But its just if we decided to protest I would be the one standing there!

I agree with you Naz..
We are lagging behind in terms of ranks coz of the least buzz that our forum is awarded with, with an interview merely once in 3-4 months.
About the FFs, yes, I feel the same thing. Fictions being shifted to the FF section is definitely a problem.

FF shifting applies to all forums. Even the active forums. I know this because I moderate the Fan Fictions forum and I come across fan fictions that have been shifted over from the IPK forum and whatnot.

Also, AT threads are supposed to be closed after 150 pages. Not just AT threads. All threads. Once they reach 150, the thread is locked.

If all of this is happening on time and precisely in the SH forum, it means you guys have active and efficient DT. You should be applauding them for doing what the DT of the other forums are failing to do.

Lastly, TellyBuzz has nothing to do with IF. That's a separate website.

While fictions being shifted to the FF section is definitely not a problem, the duration and pages after which the FFs are shifted, is definitely a matter of concern. While some fictions are shifted after completion of 15 pages, others are transferred after 50 pages. This leads to some FFs getting a large populace of readers in their native forum while other deserving fictions gaining less attention.

We'll be glad if a fiction is granted completion of atleast 40 pages in it's native forum and then shifted to the FF section.

I would like to say one thing...there is a disparity in which the FFs are shifted while i can see FFs crossing 15 pgs still not shifted , other ffs just reaching 15 are shifted...pls apply the rules for all ffs as it becomes unfair on the writers...as u should agree that if ffs are there in the forum of that particular show then only the views of the ffs will increase ...

^ In that case, you can make life easier for the moderating DT by reporting FFs that cross 15 pages. SHQ is an extremely active forum (in the top 10), so there are certain FFs that may slip the eye of the section DT. Trust me when I say this, cause I used to moderate some really high traffic forums during my moderation days, and it is NOT easy to stalk the forum and move threads, cause this is kinda time consuming and contrary to popular beliefs, the DTs have many forums AND a personal life to boot. Help them, and help yourselves :)

As for having an active and dedicated DT, why do you all think that Mandy is not active and dedicated? Like Jot said above, she clearly does a clear sweep of the forum regularly, even supports activities like GOTW and MOTW and BCs and NLs, so really, what more do you want her to do? Participate in discussions with you all? No really, Mandy is one of the MOST active, dedicated, and accessible DTs, and I'm saying this cause I worked under her for D3, which BTW, was WAY more active than SHQ, with at least 5 fangroups warring against each other at any given point in time. She also has the BW forum under her, which BTW, is one of the MOST active and difficult forums to moderate. Despite all of this, and having a personal life to boot, she's active and accessible for you folks, so I really don't see the point of the "we need an active and dedicated DT" campaign, cause you already have one.

Also, what is the need to close really old and out-dated DTs/ATs? Like are people commenting there? No. Are people spamming there? No. Is it causing trouble to anyone? NO. So if you're on SanDhir AT 140 and you ask for the 3rd AT to be closed, really now, there are MANY more pressing moderation matters out there for EVERY DT member to address. Only if there are newbies/bots/spammers hounding older topics and commenting and bringing them to the first few pages, there is no need to sit closing topics that are like months old and have NO activity.

TB articles really don't fall under the jurisdiction of the IF DTs, so you can contact the TB reporters on the TB website or externally via FB and Twitter.

As for profile picture changes, they're not in the hands of the moderating DT. The moderating DT only serves to help liase with the technical DT who will finally do the changes. If there is something pending for SHQ, means it is pending for many other celebrities as well, so give the technical DT some time.

As a current fan of SHQ, a kinda sorta active member of the forum, and an ex-Viewbie myself, I believe that it was only prudent for me to stand up and share my views.

@Jot and Ritchelle : I guess you got me wrong. I didn't request for any mod. As I know Mandy is really very active but I gave just an example of few requests from Members.

@Ritchelle : I know, D3 was very active even more than active. But D3 forum never had that FF'S shifting rules. Did it ? I don't remember. We all feel, it's unfair if only QH, SH and IPK stories getting shifted. Check the top 3 Shows. They don't have such rules and so, they get better ranking.

I know DT's or AT's need to get closed. But it's a rules right? So, if it's old or new Topic, it should be closed right ? So why other forums don't do that?

And about Mandy, she is really very active and trying to solve everything and help everyone. I, myself saw it, she transfers all the Topics with only pics to PG. And that's really great of her. :) and whenever you pm her, you are getting reply just in 12 hours. And about the FF's getting shifted late, do you think people would report them to shift? Everyone on the forum wants the stories related to SH to stay in SH forum only. And I don't think they will report it. But as you said, sometimes I reported them to Mandy and it was really hard to check the forum and find 15 pages stories. But still, we all think it's unfair towards SH forum and towards SH writers to only shift their stories and not other show's related stories. For example I am writing MaNan story, and it reach 3 threads, and then forum is more active than SH forum. Don't you think other forums needs to have that rules aswell? And YHm forum too. And all the other top 10 shows.
