Oh Dexy!!!!

This has been the issue ever since I started trolling IF.. Speaking against a DT member is considered blasphemous on IF.. You will be crowned with a WL in return too. However biased and incapable a DT member could be, speaking against him or exposing his acts would always result in a hard way to get through!

We have had some of the biggest douche bags on the DT who were extremely biased to the fangirls, used the IP addresses of innocent members to stalk them or leak out their personal details. And we still have some of them moderating the soap sections who have hardly any intellect and ability to moderate a forum. I know a DT who cannot even speak and comprehend proper english, yet speaking against her would be considered a sin!!!!

Even breathing sometime is against the IF COC.

As far as the BS forum is concerned, I would want to see a complete change in the DT. My choices would be..

Aahaana/ Minuu/ Ravjot

I believe the incident that happened with Sheldon was heavily criticized on the forum itself. These issues have not happened to me personally so I have not PMed them.

But Dr3vil says he PMed the mods and Heisenberg also says that he PMed Mandy but their ID apparently got deleted off the system. When none of that worked, we raised it in the feedback section so everyone would be made aware of the discrepancies. When that too did not work, I opened this thread on here hoping someone listens.

The thing is Ahana, Mandy says one thing, Souro says another. There is no consistency.

Here is an example of the inconsistency: Mandy told me this two months ago when I joined

Hey Mandy,

Since my IP ban was lifted, I assume it was okay for me to start posting if I wanted? Will I be banned again just for existing or do I have to break actual rules to be banned this time around? I'd like to continue posting if and when I feel like it within IF rules regulations of course...so just thought I should clear it with you first because I don't want to be axed by Souro for no rhyme or reason even if I break no rules Please clarify this.

You don't know who got banned for what, so don't spread half truths please. Nicko787 was banned because it was an MID and he asked for a self-ban for his other id.

And banned members (those banned for their behaviour) are not supposed to return at all. That they are returning is their mistake, that we are banning them is our job.

So the issue is that Mandy and Souro say two different things. When we try asking them to explain the discrepancy, they lock the whole thread down or just refuse to answer. Mandy says as long as one behaves, Souro won't ban anyone. But Souro keeps banning heisenberg and dr3vil even though they behave.

I really don't care if they raise my warning level. When a wrong happens, someone has to take the initiative to stand up and speak out. I am just thankful all of you guys are speaking up about Moderator discrepancies and bias as well. This has gone too far, we tried asking for help on BS itself but to no avail.

If our opinions are counted for the next moderator election, then for Bollywood section, I ask for:

1. Sweta01 who used to moderate BB5. She banned me too but I still find her fair and balanced.

2. Aahana, she is very calm, patient and polite yet thorough.

3. Bheegibasanti or Kal El: These two members know the dynamics of BS and they are well respected and liked by every member.

Basically, these members know how to deal with members and patiently handle the situation. Members feel at ease with them and they also stand up for what's right. So if our opinions are being taken into account, then please keep this in mind for the next election.

OFCOURSE we should be able to question the mods and how they're running this section.

Who appointed them? Its not some God given rights to just do what you wanna do, you have to fulfill your duties FAIRLY as well.

And in order to do it fairly, you need to know what the members are feeling at the moment.

'I can say that I've been REALLY disappointed with the mods on this section. I dont know if there just arent enough mods or if they just dont care, but they've given up so many issues around here.

And pointing out indiscrepencies, I have the perfect example.

I was requesting that me and another member be restricted from visiting each other's threads because it caused so many fights and arguments that EVERY MEMBER on this forum was sick and tired of it.

THe mods kept quoting the rules at me and saying how there's no such rule that allows restriction of members and they cant do anything.

That very week, I find out that THE SAME MOD WHO HAS BEEN GIVING ME THAT EXCUSE has indeed restricted Tanya and Gaurav from entering each other's threads.

WHAT THE FALOODA is going on here?

I agree on this...the mods have been given a responsibility and they are answerable to every criticism that members throw at them. Critisising mods isnt a personal in anyway anyway...its a comment on the administrative matters of the site, and that should be allowed.

So there are a lot of discrepancies and conspiracies going around by moderators against members. This is appaling.

1. Sheldon_Bazinga was taunted and mocked at continously on the Salman Khan thread by Souro. Many lambasted him for it.

2. Inconsistent and unreasonable bans being metted out to Dr3vil and Heisenberg.

3. Lack of consistency in moderator actions. Souro claims one thing, Mandy claims another.

4. Desigal90's request to have a restriction placed was ignored time and again. But the same restriction was placed on EroticGauravMad and Tanya91. Why this inconsistency?? Should not both pairs be treated the same way?

5. Souro's involvement in the xoxo/Priya Tailor MID fiasco that Dr3vil just revealed. That fiasco tore the whole bollywood section apart to pieces for months. Even Shruti had to intervene and make a sticky to calm things down. Dr3vil says he has proof about the conspiracy. So please take this seriously. All the recent MID harassment could all be linked to this incident.

Keeping all this in mind, I urge that the higher admins take note and do something urgently. We cannot have inconsistent and temperamental members moderating BS. We either need a higher up to regulate them or we need to seriously think of replacement.

Let's hope the one that is being duly criticized for it feels the same way and gives way to other much deserving people who have prior experience of moderating on IF with a good record. Like Swetha01 or Aahana.
