We wish to further add onto admin Vijay's note that the accusations and allegation against Souro had been falsified!
He was accused of having banned two members continually without giving the opportunity to redeem themselves. However, this was not the case, as the two members were well aware of the reason behind their ban. Despite being given several chances, these two members continued to mock fellow members and engaged in instigatory activities. Such behaviors had always been strictly prohibited and were dealt with severity in this online platform. Furthermore, the two members were sent explanatory PMs, hence, Souro is not to be blamed for.
Secondly, we wish to address the unnecessary accusation about maintaining friendship beyond IF. There are no such rules that limit one from sustaining their friendship with fellow members beyond the forum. India-forums is an online portal that allows people to mingle and interact with members from all walks of life, and hence, it isn't a crime for one to make friends. Development team members are also members, after all. Please note that personal life shall never be dragged into professional life, hence, questioning Souro's moderation due to his friendship with fellow members has NO LEGIT REASONING for complaint. The evidence provided in support of the claim was not directly associated with Souro, and merely in third person conversation with members chatting about other people. Friends, please be advised that such false accusation and complaints based on mere assumption (involving conspiracy theory) will not be tolerated and may lead to the rise in W/L directly. Such behaviors will be dealt with severity.
In conclusion, Souro has been framed and accused falsely, simply based on his friendship with particular members. While members themselves advice each other NOT TO TRUST anything and everything, how did they easily believe the falsified evidences in this case? How could the words presented be considered as TRUE, just because the blame was against Souro! This particular scenario was blown out of proportion due to misguidance! Many members who tried to raise their concern were misguided by few individuals who took advantage of the situation due to their personal grudge against the DT member. The higher authorities and I have looked into every PM regarding the issue and we can guarantee that he is innocent.
Members are welcome to raise genuine concerns and they will be addressed by the development team. Please refrain from framing, degrading and damaging someone's image because he isn't your favorite! We want everyone to have a great ride on this online platform.
