Hey guys,

Here is a mini update of what the team have implemented so far:

1) PM has been limited to 10 per day but it can be reduced to 5

2) Newbie's can not send/post any hyperlinks or images external

3) PMs are being IP logged meaning we are tracking every PM.

PS! I have reopened this thread and some of the posts have been moved/deleted!Remember this thread is for suggestions hence NO accusations and settling personal scores! Strict action will be taken against each member who breaks the rule, including direct WL raise!

I need more clarification on this. So Shakthehack made a few posts with a new account to test these new features out. While trying to send a PM, he got an error message but he was still able to post an image on the forum. How is that possible? I thought images/hyperlinks posting privileges were taken away as well?

EDIT: Actually, I take that back. I just was able to receive 8 new messages from the newbie account. Is this a glitch because the features were newly implemented? Or they have not been implemented yet?

But I have a question. What is the purpose of LIMITED PMs?

From my experience with the MID who abuses and harasses members...he/she does NOT need more than ONE PM.

The MID doesnt insults via a conversation. Its not like the first message is a friendly "Hello, guess who" followed by various PMs with small insults.

No, he sends ONE PM, which is filled with abuses and insults that are enough to ruin a person's day with how unpleasant that ONE PM is.

So I really dont think you're ruining anyone's party by limited PMs to 10.

It doenst get that far. The cycle is simple.

Send ONE abusive PM, get banned, make another ID, send ANOTHER abusive PM.

So what is the purpose of limited PMs? If anything, that is just a nuisance to regular members who do PM buddies and friends on here.

I really hope my concerns are addressed.

I concur with Desu. I too find the 10 PMs rule pointless. They only need one PM to attack and abuse. The abuses are so bad it could make your blood curl. But if that is too much, why don't you guys just let newbies PM IF staff and people on their friend's list ONLY. Since most of us sane people would never add newbies to our friend's list, they would never be able to spew their venom to us via PMs. This way, you're neither being unfair to the newbies nor being unfair to us.
