When Laxman also joined with Ram and Sita, Kaushalya can't stay silent as she used to be. She tried to stop them by talking to Ram again.

Kaushalya: What are you doing? Can't you see the condition of maharaj? How can each one take a decision without concerning us?

Ram: Did Kaikeyi matha consulted with you before asking the vachan from maharaj?

Kaushalya: She is also his wife.

Ram: So do we. Sita is my wife and Urmila is Laxman's wife.

Kaushalya: What do you mean? You won't give respect for my words?

Ram: I am the only one in Kaliyug who give respect to his parents including different mothers. You only told me to obey the words of Kaikeyi matha and Sumitra matha.

Kaushalya: It doesn't mean you hurt your father and mother.

Ram: I am not interested in hurting anyone here. Pitha gave vachan to matha and I am fulfilling his promise.

Kaushalya: Then why you are taking Sita and Laxman also with you?

Ram: I didn't invite them as I am not going for any function. Its their wish which I have no solid reason to prohibit.

Kaushalya: You know dharm, convince them with your words.

Ram: They also know dharm, that is the problem.

Kaushalya: Your father itself is ready to break the raghuvansh parampara. Let Bharath be the king and you all better stay here.

Ram: I can't break my promise.

Kaushalya: If maharaj orders you to be here in Ayodhya?

Ram: Did maharaj have guts enough to tackle kaikeyi matha? If so, he could have asked Kaikeyi matha to know the wish of Bharath first.

Kaushalya: You mean, Bharath will not accept this decision of "his mother"?

For the first time ever, Kaushalya said Bharath as Kaikeyi's son. Yes, its Kaliyug and all are humans only.

Ram: I don't know the future, but I know Bharath.

Kaushalya: So stay back here till Bharath comes, if he becomes king also he will not permit you to go for exile.

Ram: Maharaj wanted to thiyag the crown and attain sanyas. So anyway after Bharath's coronation or whatever, you people (including father and mothers) will come to forest. Lets meet there.

(Looking at Sita and Laxman) Lets start, its getting late we have to reach the forest and construct huts before the sunset.
