One last time

Kaushalya asked Ram, Sita and Laxman to get the blessings from Dhasarath before going to vanvas. If the knot is loosen, all the beads will fall one by one. She thought Dhasarath can convince atleast one of them thereby stopping their vanvas.

Ram: Okay, Maa. We will meet him and start our vanvas soon.

All the three entered the room of Dhasarath who is lying in his bed. Dhasarath is shocked to see all the three ready for the vanvas yatra.

Dhasarath: what is this? Ram, why are you going? You are my life. Don't put my life in danger.

Ram: Dharm is my life. Please pitashree, don't make my life sankat.

Dhasarath understood he can't persuade Ram and turned to Sita. Dhasarath thought Sita can be easily bend as she behaves mostly like Kaushalya.

Dhasarath: Sita, you are like my daughter. How a father can send his daughter to forest?

Ram understood Sita well before their marriage that is why he wrote to Kaikeyi matha saying Sita is similar to her. Yes, once sita decides on an issue, she will not revert it at all costs.

Sita: Pitashree, there are few people, including women are living in forest. You told that the prajas are your children. So kindly permit even this daughter to live with her husband.

Dhasarath (as he failed in his emotional words, finally he turned to Laxman): Who asked you to go to forest?

Laxman: Sorry pitashree, I can't live without Ram bhaiya. Moreover I should also keep up my promise made to matha.

Both Kaushalya and Sumitra in single voice screamed "when we asked you to go for forest?"

Laxman (looking at Sumitra): Matha, you only told that none of us (4 brothers) can be left alone. When younger brother of all, Shatrughna has performed his duty by joining Bharath bhaiya, why not me? I will be with Ram bhaiya only, wherever he lives.

Sumitra is astounded to know that her sons are so smart in connecting the dots.

Ram, Sita and Laxman gets the blessings from all and started their journey. One voice stopped them "Wait Ram".

Guru Vashisth: Ram, you forgot to keep up one more promise.

Guru (with a smile thought I know you are kaliyug student won't even remember the promise, then how come you fulfill it): You and Laxman along with your brothers promised me that you will not stop practising what I educated you.

Ram (Understood his guru): Sure guru, we will take our bow and arrow with us and use it when time demands.

Ram, Sita and Laxman started their journey with one last time seeing their father in tears.
