Ram, Sita and Laxman reached the bank of Ganga river accompanied by minister Sumanta. In the meantime,a dark cloud covered the whole of Lanka. Lanka naresh Ravan killed Vidyutjihva, surpanakha's husband in a self-defense. When she returned from her rest, she saw her husband being brutally killed by her ever-loving brother Ravan. She rushed to Lanka to confront the same with Ravan.

Surpanakha entered the Raj darbar with a sword.

Soldier (dwara bhalak): Devi, please handover the sword, you can't enter with it.
