That something wrong might be with Mishti and her flawed thinking. Some myths have to be shattered.

She never thought she'd meet Ruhaan again. She was mortified when he turned up. She didn't fall for his charms or smile. She always looked at the bad side to him. Despite that, he helped her brother. She had to give some credit to Pari's judgement.
Now that she is in talking terns with him, she is feeling what she feels for him isn't hatred as she had judged earlier. In all this, there isno physical attraction. It is the natural progression of a relationship.

Again she was in a happy relation with Veer ! Also Mishti never found anything lacking in him...we didn't get single monolugue from her stating that her relation is missing something

Also she does confide in him ! He is aware of her fears and he assured as well

Now coming to Ruhaan...why I said there is no natural progression is because it is based on attraction
2nd is that if Ruhan was nice to Ansh so is Veer with her family...plus she is committed to him

Ruhan is nice so is Veer...So what is the reason to fall for Ruhan despite being in happy relation with Veer ?

If niceness is thr criteria so Veer is also nice

This is is what my point is...there is no concrete reason apart from the fact that she is attracted towards him

A relation should not be based solely on the basis of attraction coz it's not going to survive in the long run
Also here the problem is Mishti is not single but in a happy commited relation so there should be a very strong reason for her to fall out of love with Veer and in love with Ruhan and attraction can't be the sole or the main reason

My point is often the romantic relationships start with physical attraction only and other things like trust and understanding develop with time. It's not like all the people in a relationship start bonding emotionally at their very first meeting.

And regarding the commitments, as long as mishti is engaged to Veer, either Ruhaan approaching her or her starting a relationship with Ruhaan is wrong according to me as well.

And regarding their feelings towards each other, their actions will define their characters not their feelings. Because I believe u can control ur actions not ur feelings.

Veer- nice with family plus commitment plus good looking and she enjoys / used to enjoy cuddling with him.

Ruhaan - nice with family , not sure of commitment index, good looking and she feels a deeper connect she wants to deny. This is because he exudes the same vibes which is a different level from cuddling.

Those vibes are usually what gets a relationship going, and not a safe and friendly, committed relationship culminating in marriage. Mishti found for herself an arranged marriage with Veer , thinking commitment is above love. Problem is, she never knew love till now. Romantic love, that is.
That is more than an understanding.

See my point is attraction is the first step o agree but here the problem is that Mishti is committed so drifting towards someone simply on the basis of attraction doesn't seem right!
Feeling out of love and falling for someone can't be based solely on the basis of attraction
If we look at it then Mishti might have felt attraction for Veer as well then would have started to get to know each other then they must have dated before committing to each other
So what has changed now ? What exactly was lacking ? This is where the problem comes ! As per CVs Mishti was super happy with Veer and was looking forward to Get married to him until Ruhan entered the frame

The thing is Mishti is not controlling her growing feelings but also giving in to them

Ruhan knew what he felt for Mishti...agree he couldn't control it but he could leave as well as per me ...but he saw a sleeping Mishti and decided to stay back ! Here he acted coz he felt !

Mishti also went to Ruhan and asked her to wish him! She is not maintaining a distance which is in her hands

So, they are slowly not only losing control of their feelings but also acting on them and this will create a mess

@ Bold , did U not watch the first episode where she clearly said Veer is like her and that is why she felt it is perfect, a common mistake many young people make when they mistake similar feeling to love and she wanted to go ahead as she felt in her dictionary commitment=love which many assume as well. That is when she met Ruhaan and complications started

I guess u r confused...this is not an arranged marriage but a love marriage

Here MishVeer are going for a love marriage ...if she was going for an arranged marriage then it would have make some sense

But here Veer was her first boyfriend..so she must have experienced attraction with him too, they must have dated and then decided to marry ...So to say she never knew love would be wrong
If she didn't then they clearly played with Veer's emotions though unintentionally but she did

Also like I said makers haven't given a strong reason for her to fall out of love with Veer and in love with Ruhan

I guess u didn't watch it properly

she did say that Veer is like her , perfect for her AND also said that He is her first boyfriend and will be her last
So if she fell for Veer and commited to him and now has fallen for soemoen else simply coz she never knew her own feeling than she is clearly at fault here and no one else

Exactly MishVeer is a love marriage
Now if Mishti thinks she never loved him and started loving someone else then clearly she is at fault

It doesn't look like either Mishti or Veer felt that special feeling in the past. It looks like two nice good looking people met, liked each other, decided to get married and do what all engaged people do for each other. It is sweet. But it doesn't sound like a love story.

Ruhaan enters. Mishti feels something she never felt before, hates it and fights tooth and nail to get it out of her life. She finds it evil.

Everyone has nice things to say about Ruhaan.

Ruhaan understands his feelings, wants to keep away, but thinks his will get resolved. He doesn't want to Pursue her, but enjoys spending time with her. He doesn't know he may not be able to hold his feelings after one point. He feels anyway she is clear about her priorities, he can hang around her, fact is, that tortures him. He is willing to bear that, since he doesnt have a green signal from Mishti. Obviously he thinks she is set and he cannot force her. He enjoys whatever attention she gives him, not asking for anything in return .

Mishti finds her feelings for Ruhaan is not normal , but she is above her feelings so she can tackle it. She was running away so far, now she will take it on. She asked him to wish her to break the ice. She is not going to marry Veer without settling whatever she feels for his friend. Intention is good.
