That this is Mauli, Mauli does stay quiet and knows when to speak up and when not to speak up.

You didn't blame Mauli as a character, but you did say this is not Mauli, so I was clarifying that, from my POV.

Like I said, she is calculated in when she speaks up and when she doesn't.

If anything, I imagined the scene to be where there are amazing dialogues and in all the heat, passion and devastation, Kunal ends up fainting or having flashbacks, etc.

Personally that is how I imagined it. I never expected Mauli to talk back or clap back. For me, that never made sense.

Thirdly , you interpreted that Kunal's character is butchered for Ishaan..On this case , I have defended him..
