Assassination of a character

It's not the first time Kunal has been thrown under the bus to glorify other characters, writer has always lowered his character to show other characters in good light...

I am sorry .. I am not able to get your point .. I have read in a previous post of yours where you have quoted that you are not able to connect with Mahaan Ishaan and now he is behaving like a normal human being who wants to defend his lover. You seem to have a problem with that ?

No offence, but this is actually quite consistent with Kunal's character. its not the first tile he was teying to score points:
All this, he was trying to prove a point. Making him and his lover the victim. Others are awful and he makes sure that he lets them know how awful.they are. And if there are no real evidence for it then then.he wil lscore points by getting fake ones. The CD, the doctors half heard phone call

When writers write a character..they give him or her personality traits according to that characters role in the story ...e.g. the villain will always have an abundance of negative traits and his or her role will be responsible for all the bad things happening in the show...Well in silsila they've decided to make Shakti a grey character..he's not the good guy and he never was. Good men don't do to their wives what he did to Mauli. The show is ending now I think it's about time that it was accepted that Kunal is a grey character, he may have one or Two nice qualities but overall he's been a pampered spoilt brat ...like we saw today ..who got almost everything he wanted in life...he's disrespectful and rude ...look at the way he behaved with pramila today and his rudeness to Ishaan ...he's distrustful and he puts his happiness above everyone's others. This is the Kunal of Silsila ..he's not been butchered,.hes been written to be like this ,.there are lots of people like this in the world ..So he is a realistic character.. So trying to say he's been butchered etc to make the other characters look good really makes no sense ...because the good characters are good ...they've been written to be good ...Mauli, Ishaan and radhika are the good decent characters in the show and their actions wil always be selfless where they put the needs of others above their own and they always try to not hurt others by their actions..They can't be made to look good ...they are written to be good .

Why shouldn't Mauli be silent .. She might be confused on what she should do now . Ishaan is reacting on behalf of her . What's wrong in that ?

So your problem is Ishaan here and it's so evident .

Kunal is a grey character . He is butchered . Even Rajdeep was butchered so many times to defend Nandini .. that's how a show works ultimately.

One character will be destroyed. One character will shine . One character will remain neutral the way Radhika Ji is

I have said many times, Kunal's character took a, big dive on Mouli's birthday episode. The butchering was so sudden and was very obvious. But the thing is he never apologised or ade up for it. If a character is consistantly awful, it becomes their trait. and thats what is happening with Kunal. Now when he acts awful, it doesnt feel like butchering at all. He has GROWN to become a awful person.

The problem is Mauli's reaction when exactly has been Mauli the one to take crap from people around her, especially around Kunal, she always gave back as good as she got, the Mauli, I know doesn't need anyone to defend her, doesn't mean Ishaan won't do it, it's completely normal for Ishaan to defend Mauli but it's not normal for Mauli to listen to Kunal and not say anything, did you see she was crying and was guilty like Kunal was crying and was guilty during Kunan EMA revelation? I just don't get the reason Mauli would react that way, so this does not concern Ishaan, I am talking about Mauli's character

Grey characters are butchered for other characters to shine? I wasn't aware of this, I always thought a character acts according to his character graph not according to graph of other characters, everyone is an individual after all, so I guess it's completely normal that Kunal was butchered for Ishaan

you need to understand that Mauli and all of us here know that the Kunal in front of her is sick..he's got s mental disorder...called amnesia...she's not going to shout at him. She's scared it can trigger off a stroke ..which can kill him. So she and Ishaan are not going to tell him anything..because they are worried about his health.
