Preleap the story was about nandu, Kunal and Mauli..not about maunal alone. Nandu was a female lead..and Mauli was the second female lead. So in a way it was Ema and a triangle . Now post leap ..Ishaan is the second male lead ..he's not a supporter . And kinshuk is an established actor so he's got the second male lead role. He's got almost the equal amount of scenes as Shakti so he's not a supporting role. And now the story is about Kunal Mauli and Ishaan. Yes it's a triangle again .

Yup, that was the consistent thing, in pre leap, post leap and Season 2. The infamous love triangle!

the pre-leap was kunan based n post-leap was maunal based...shakti only talked abt pre-leap phase...he did not talk abt the leap in DD has to play insecure wife n maunal falling in love again...while pearl n the makers of the show had talked abt the whole story

Pre-Leap is abt Kunan...the EMA in what the concept is all abt...so yes Kunan did end up together as per script but there was a post-leap situation in which nandini becomes insecure n maunal fall in love again but DD was not ready to play the insecure wife

this is the original plot...according to me they should have shown what they originally planned...yes DD left the show...they could have cast another actress to play nandini n proceed with the show...they totally changed the track after DD left n the insecure wife track was scrapped

Insecure wife, I read in the news. MauNal in love again, I never read to be honest. The possibility seems to hve been introduced only when DD exited and Kunal was found to be single. Otherwise, never heard any writer or news article or anything saying that MauNal reunion will happen. Just that Nandini would be an insecure wife.

This show is not about Kunal and Mauli. Show is about Kunal , Nandini and Mauli. That's what is was. Mauli did not have a POV in the promo. She was not important enough for the makers.
In pre-leap Nandini ke scenes were almost double of Mauli. Again she was not given importance. Drashti was anyway way more popular than Aditi.Its just that the EMA was so badly executed that KuNan was bashed and sympathies went with Mauli. People were not interested in KuNan anymore and it was about Mauli. That's when the first promo with Mauli POV was aired with the timeslot change.
That's when she actually became the lead and also Aditi s performance took everyone by surprise.

If Drashti had not quit , it would still be Kunal /Nandini and Mauli at the other end.
It did not matter even if Nandini was an insecure wife, she would still get as much screenspace as Kunal.So this was never a MauNal show.Insecure wife does not mean Kunal would fall in love with Mauli again. Many second wifes in Real Life are insecure.

Gajra had to change the storyline twice.
1. Due to sympathies with Mauli , she became the lead.
2. Drashti quit the show.

I think many have spoken abt a mock shoot in which kunal goes back to mauli dumping nandini as he realise that he can't live w/o mauli😆...i think someone did talk abt it...i remember it very well

TC articles are not trustworthy. Can you share the link which mentioned Kunal will fall in love with Mauli again. Insecure wife does not mean that. Sridevi was supposed to be an insecure wife and did not like Boney in contact with his first family.but Boney did not fall in love with Mona again.
