I correctly predicted yesterday on the forum in two different threads that Mauli will be dreaming about Kunal and smiling and 😆 well I was right. See I think I have understood the psychology of the writers . This is the order of preference of characters for them. 1) Nandini / Pari. 2) Kunal. 3) Mauli. 4) Ishaan. So basically lower ranked character can be butchered for a higher ranked character. Kunal was shown insensitive to whitewash Nandini. Ishaan's selfless commitment was shown having no value so that Kunal can play love guru. And now Mauli's self respect has no value so that Kunal can come out as this great guy that girls just can't get over. And logical or illogical, regressive or progressive everything will be turned around so that the top 2 preferred characters can get their perfect ending which is Kunal and Pari. Now why is this? See it's simple we as viewers want Silsila to be an empowering story of a woman who moves on from the biggest betrayal of her life from two people she loved the most. But the fact is Silsila is not that story. To be fair to the writers this was never the story they wanted to tell nor they ever claimed that this would be the story. Their story, their tag line is that Jaazbaat are the best , Jaazbaat over everything. First it was Jaazbaat over commitment and now it's Jaazbaat over self respect. That is the story they want to tell and no matter how much we want a different story we won't get it. Writers have been regressive from the start . A victim of domestic abuse needs a man to save her and love her then only she will be happy. And now a victim of adultery can be happy with her first husband only. They have always been like that and it will end like that . Because that's how these writers think when it comes to Silsila. This was never and will never be the story of a woman who faces betrayal and humiliation from her husband of 7 years and how she moves on to find happier things in life. Hence if we want to see a progressive story about a victim of EMA this is not the serial. It's basically a serial to show how Jaazbast can overrule everything in life. I mean just as an example Kunal married and slept with Nandini when Mauli was completely broken and now Kunal will marry the same Mauli in front of a heartbroken Ishaan. Kunal fell in love with Nadini just by seeing her dance and Mauli still can't fall out of love with Kunal despite the betrayal , lies and humiliation. This is how writers want to write their story. So let's not expect anything fresh or progressive from them.
