Madhampatty Rangaraj breaks silence with wedding post amid past divorce denial by first wife Shruthi

Actor and entrepreneur Madhampatty Rangaraj, best known for his work in Mehandi Circus and the TV show Cooku With Comali, is making headlines for his personal life. The actor has now married celebrity stylist Joy Crizildaa, who also revealed that she is six months pregnant.

Joy made the announcement on Instagram, sharing traditional wedding photos. In one of the pictures, Madhampatty is seen applying kumkum on her forehead. She captioned the post “Mr & Mrs Rangaraj,” making their wedding public. Shortly after, she posted another image showing off her baby bump, writing, “Baby loading 2025. We are pregnant. 6th month of pregnancy.” The posts quickly gained traction on social media.

However, this update has stirred controversy. Madhampatty’s first wife, Shruthi Rangaraj, had earlier denied any divorce rumours. Just a few months ago, she had posted happy family pictures with Madhampatty and their two children, clearly suggesting that they were still together. Her Instagram bio still reads “Madhampatty Rangaraj’s wife,” and she has not removed any of their pictures. Meanwhile, Joy has updated her bio to read “Wife of Madhampatty Rangaraj.”

This sharp contrast between the two public profiles has confused many fans and netizens. One user on X (formerly Twitter) wrote, “That guy still didn’t get divorce from his first wife with two kids… Their story is worse than Jayam Ravi’s. Pathetic man.”

So far, Madhampatty has not made any official comment about the situation. In an earlier interview with Cinema Vikatan, he responded vaguely when asked about his personal life: “I am aware of what’s going around. If needed, I’ll talk about it openly. But for now, there are no issues in my family.”

With no official clarification from him yet, speculation around the actor’s personal life continues to grow.
