Imran Nazir Khan on joining Meri Bhavya Life: ‘Team welcomed me like family’

While it can be very daunting to join a show mid-way, actor Imran says that it was very different for him with the show Meri Bhavya Life. The actor, who is known for his versatile roles in shows like Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain, Maddam Sir, Main Hoon Aparajita, Gathbandhan, Humari Bahu Silk, and Aladdin – Naam Toh Suna Hoga, says that he was welcomed warmly by the team.

“Honestly, it felt amazing when I got the offer to join Meri Bhavya Life, even though it was mid-way through the show. Jumping into an already running storyline can be a challenge, but I saw it as an exciting opportunity to bring something fresh to the table. The team welcomed me warmly, and I’m really looking forward to adding my own flavour to the story. It’s always thrilling to be part of a show that already has a strong connection with the audience!”

But stepping in at a later stage wasn’t without its hurdles, he says adding, “To be honest, yes, catching up with the story and characters was a bit challenging in the beginning. When you join a show midway, everyone is already in sync with their roles, and the story has its own pace. But I took it as a learning experience. I spent time understanding the storyline, watching past episodes, and interacting with the cast to get into the rhythm. The team has been super supportive, which made the transition smooth. Now, I feel completely in tune with the flow!”

Imran is all praise for the team and talks about how warmly he was received on set. “The other actors welcomed me with so much warmth and positivity it honestly felt like joining a new family. From day one, they made me feel comfortable on set, helped me understand the vibe of the show, and even shared little tips to blend in smoothly. There were no egos, just a lot of support and good energy. That kind of environment really boosts your confidence and makes you give your best. I’m grateful to be working with such a grounded and talented team,” he says.

He adds, “I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little nervous. Everyone already shares a great bond, and stepping into that can feel a bit overwhelming. But the energy on set has been so positive and welcoming that it’s really helped ease those nerves. I’m excited to learn, observe, and slowly become a part of this amazing team. Looking forward to the journey ahead!”
