Dhanush shares intimate glimpse of Kriti Sanon’s role in 'Tere Ishk Mein' on her birthday

Actor Dhanush and Kriti Sanon are sharing screen space for the first time in Aanand L Rai’s upcoming romantic drama Tere Ishk Mein. The film is slated to hit cinemas on November 28, 2025.

On Kriti’s birthday, July 27, Dhanush posted a behind-the-scenes image of the actress from the film's sets. Calling her by her character’s name, he wrote, “Happy birthday Mukti. Have a good one 🤗.” The picture, casual and candid, gave fans a small peek into their off-screen bond during filming.

Filmmaker Aanand L Rai also took to social media to wish Kriti. His caption was a bit more introspective. “Sometimes it’s the journey that teaches you a lot about your destination. Tere Ishk Mein has been one such journey with you. Happy birthday, Mukti,” he wrote. His post was accompanied by a still from the film featuring Kriti in a visibly emotional moment, possibly from the wrap-up of a schedule.

Kriti Sanon plays a character named Mukti in the film, which is said to be set mostly in Delhi. Last year, the makers dropped two intense video teasers featuring both Kriti and Dhanush in never-seen-before avatars. This is the first time the two actors are being paired opposite each other.
