I give up! Why would actors even want to acknowledge this level of nonsense?

Abt award functions the only thing i get excited abt is the dresses nd now since i am a devir fan i look forward to the interviews nd banters....rest the telecast is no better than kapil sharma show😕

@bold: same. I like the outfits and the content we get. I liked the Rrahul and KV stuff from the other award ceremony too.

In the US there are soaps that run for 50 plus years but they have so many banked episodes and shows aren't centered around two leads. ITV needs to have better storytelling that delves into the side characters and gives them storylines. But Bollywood has warped our mind into thinking there always needs to be "leads" and a love story to keep a story going. I wouldn't like seasons for the daily serials, but there's got to be a way to better the current formula.

But they do acknowledge....u will find them flaunting those awards in their profiles😆Let alone the season wise concept....the funniest thing is giving a best actor award to five actors...now how ridiculous can that be!!

If u ask me....I don't have much problem with stories revolving around leads but infact I have a problem and detest the most about the scripts not being crisp, script being regressive and the writers changing stories/ character graph according to viewer's wish.I would always love the way that the Pakistani shows goes with. They make limited episodes stories ...shoot first all of the episodes and then telecast it .So,in this way the story writers get the opportunity/free hand to convey fully what he/she wants to tell thru the story to viewers .I also loved the way Turkish shows goes on....they give the opportunity to PHs to show 13 episodes for a show and if that show turns out to be audiences fav then they go for another 13.And if it's a super hit ...then go for a season break and come after 3-4 months.

On ITV side characters are shown but either they act as a support to leads or a negative angle of the leads.Very few shows have given chances to side characters to have their own set of story. At this moment I could remember only EHMMBH and Ishqbaaz.

I've never really paid attention to it all until SAAKK. I remember almost everyone in the Anupama cast got that IIA award. I think even the lead of UD got one too. It's all such a joke!

I like Paki shows, but some have such a regressive tone to them. But I enjoy that supporting characters also get a storyline. I loved Diyae-e-dil for that.

I've never really paid attention to Turkish shows, but their concept seems great. The ITV audience wouldn't stand for a break though, it has to be a daily feeding for the TRP audience. It's out of sight, out of mind.

Have you seen korean dramas? I only watch the 16 episode ones and only after it's all aired. I binge them and the thread of their story telling is magnificent. Also covering such vast topics. They have the love story and the lead couple, but also develop other characters and even give the antagonist a valid storyline other than just being a villain or vamp.

I used to love EHMMBH and more than the lead couple, I loved the sisters. Ishqbaaz was okay but redundant after I had watched Geet, IPKKND and QH. It was typical Gul Khan!

I agree to that...some do have regressive tone.I forgot the name of the show ..it had Fawad ..where he was in love with a woman who had a teenage daughter and the rapport of Fawad's character and that teenage girl was so nice and dealt so maturely.I love the fact that the writers of Paki shows get the opportunity to tell the story according to what they have conceptualized and not based on fans crazy wishes. The scripts are so crisp.

Not much into Korean dramas...watched a few long ago.Watched a series 'Desendents of the sun' , loved it.Was in love with the ML.Now, thinking of giving it a try again....Deba often mentions about the Korean series.
