So many loose ends to tie up. I think with the way they closed the loop on season 1, they're better off doing a retelling than reopening.

I loved this car scene. God knows how many times I watched it. Shaurya's car is lucky for SHAKHI. We got best episodes in his car❤️

yes!! I remember we had high hopes for the library, but it was truly the car that was where their dynamics continued changing.

The car scene introduces the beginning of the sizzling chemistry of Shakhi. Both are self conscious as they have started feeling the presence of the other not as Prof- student but as man-woman.

Anokhi is still inexperienced hence her glancing at him time and again to grasp if Shaurya is also feeling this 'attraction'. Her admiration of him is clearly seen on her face. Shaurya on the other hand I believe is conscious of something happening but definitely not 'attraction'. He cannot place a name to it yet.

Again Mr Puri and Vineet has contributed to the first Shakhi experience so I thank them for it.

The way Anokhi tells Shaurya that at heart is a good person pleases the.latter but again because it is Anokhi he will never accept the compliment, he will get back on his high Sabherwal horse and contradict her.

Anokhi has no choice but to leave him but I liked that part when she tells him now she is more curious to know who has called the press conference and what action he will take against that person when he knows.

Shaurya regrets all the words he said to Anokhiwhen he realises that the call was from the Sabherwal mansion, but his ego stops him from acknowledging his mistake to Anokhi. She is not worth it...

To immediately think it is his father who has called the press tells us two things:

1. Shaurya is very stupid and jumps to conclusion quickly. Why did he never doubt the brats?

2. He is remote controlled by Devi. The brainwashing Devi has done all these years is ingrained in him so that he loses all reasoning.

Shaurya in his hatred for Aastha behaves like a kid. What right does he have to ask his father to sever all ties with Aastha?

Blackmailing his father makes him look cheap. He has no respect for relationship.

I feel sorry for Shaurya as he behaves not as an individual but like a robot programmed by Devi.

The car scene is the first time we really see the awkward attraction and foreshadowing of the sizzle to come!

I felt that too when he didn't run after Anokhi. Even when he later admits that someone else besides her called the media, he never apologizes. His ego was too large to apologize to a nobody like Anokhi. A big character flaw!

Shaurya has a lot of anger and frustration and sadness. I don't think it's fair to say that he doesn't respect their relationship. It's more apt to say that they don't have a relationship because of the 25 years of neglect that Shaurya experienced. Shaan doesn't get to one day pretend to be proud papa without offering reparations for his failed parenting! It shouldn't be a tit for tat, but Shaurya isn't wrong is demanding that he be a priority to his father. Pick the child that has been thrown to the wayside for 25 years instead of the woman who left you behind 25 years ago. Shaurya's the only innocent in that equation.

So now like every abuser has a pattern, vineet feels the need to punish Babli because she was happy. And here comes our man, to save the day. Honestly, if Anokhi had beaten up Vinnet I would have loved it but things could get too complex then!

Anokhi's awe is quite visible on her face even during the fight. and still nothing? Another thing i noticed that when shaurya took the sisters to the car he literally held anokhi and guided her. It was...nice to see that gesture.

The car ride has my heart. The physical awareness was quite strong from her end. Well, this was her first time with the freedom to go out and land herself somewhere her. He notices her too, infact quite often, too often. I dont mean they feel something for each other, it was just awareness. Beautiful sizzling awareness.

I also noticed, this is the first time she openly laughed in front of him. He noticed it and it annoyed him. His retort was so childlike. Lets see who laughs later :P. Some how the facade of Professor cool always slips with this girl. She rattles his core.

She reads him quite well and there is a micro expression change on his face but he can never take kindness from any thing associated to aastha but when he gets to know he made a mistake, he immediately runs to say sorry but she had already walked too far away.

Shaurya is so filled with hatred for his mother that everything seems to be her fault. He is justified in his anger but to ask his father to choose? It is just petty. This may be because he feels he has always competed with his mother for his father's love and finally it is time for Shaan to pick a side.

Side note 1 : Shaurya stands for babli in the car and indirectly tells her she should walk away from this relationship and anokhi is again in awe. No wonder this girl thought that the man was perfect.

Side note 2 : at home, she is still thinking about shaurya and his mood swings. Ms. Bhalla is intrigued.

Side note 3: The bhalla sisters scene was too sad but good sad. The scene left me thinking how ofetn women sacrifice silently and no one knows.

Anokhi finally stood up to Vineet in Goa, once her sister made the decision to leave him. Like you said, before that it would have been messy. I like the parallel of Shaurya and Anokhi holding Vineet's hand as he brings it down to hurt Babli, both times.

I loved that cute scene of her smirking at his expense. It'll be while before she has a reason to smile again because of him.

I totally agree that he's petty. But not wrong in demanding his father decide who he wants more....his son or his wife.

Rightttttttttttt. Anokhi was all ga-ga over a man who insinuates that Babli should divorce Vineet's ass. Instead of worrying about society like her brother and father do, a man actually encouraged Babli to stand up for herself and called a wrong a wrong.

Guy is an enigma somedays! But another important thing that the fight highlighted was his stand on women. Shaurya might think they belong in the kitchen, but he did not think that they should not be treated right. He indirectly asked Babli to walk away from abuse. He might think they are the weaker sex, but did not believe in taking advantage of them . Add his issues to this, it makes you think about "What does this man actually think about women?"

the awkwardness and the awareness. I could feel it here. Super aware of each other. Wonder why? This scene gives me really beautiful vibes.

Anokhi always wanted to understand the 'Why' behind Shaurya's being. She thought about him from day 1. She unknowingly loved solving Shaurya as a puzzle. She did understand, that he was far too principled to not care about people. And honestly, i loved that he was taken aback by her brazen honestly about her opinion of him.

As far as blaming shaan, he did her their phonecall and assumed back then only that aastha was over involved.

But that family is not the villian. they raised him, were there for him, stayed with him. shaan was never there, so how do we expect shaurya to assume it was them. KV and Khalid were amazing here!

even i liked that they highlighted how so many people ( a lot of women) silently give up on things in life for a 'compromise'..even i HATE that word!

We got some glimpses of his ingrained sexist thoughts in many places. He might disagree with violence towards women and abuse, but he does have regressive thoughts about what women can and can't do. He assumes the role of women in his home is to cater to the men as his Badi Ma, Chachi, and Bhabhi do. He did say some things about Anokhi being out at night after her kidnapping. He clearly thinks women are using men when they're being nice to them and probably thinks they can't be friends, which was shown and said during the library incident. And obviously post-i love you and post-sindoor shaadi, all host of issues regarding his soch came up.

The car scene is my favorite from the valentine's night scenes. It shows such a subtle change in their equation. I so agree with you, it was so well done!

I've said it before that I love that Anokhi is so honest. When she wanted to call him out, she confronts him. When she wants to thank him, she does it to his face. And when she wants to compliment him, she also does it face to face. She doesn't put up a façade or hold back her feelings. With Anokhi, you get what you see. She has no hidden agenda.

I don't fault that he connects Aastha and Shaan, but I don't like that all his smarts go out the window when his anger rears its ugly head.

Babli's is another storyline that was handled so well by the show. They showed such subtle scenes and showed her slowly becoming independent and slowly standing up for herself.

I was not a fan of the library scene. I've only watched it once. I'm not sure how I'll handle it during the rewatch!

I am not saying it was right. But that's how his soch was due to upbringing. He said it in anger without meaning it. But it was necessary for the story line.

I skip those hospital scenes with Ahir. I just hated him for taking credit.

Even though his take wasn’t morally right I simply love the scene for his acting and the intensity involved. I have watched it lots of times and still in awe of his performance

Same here. I can understand his frustration. The way he saved her from riots and the way he felt for her at that time was so intense. I loved the way he said ab main ise Kahi nahi chodunga. And after all this miss Bhalla is thinking he left her alone and ACP saved her. So all his anger vented out. ❤️
