Which girl would not be impressed by this man Shaurya Sabherwal? This is one of the best shades of him. And Anokhi who has seen only men who always put her down and looked down upon her has for the Fürst time met Shaan and then today Shaurya who have been nice to her. Even though Ss has been rude to her he always has been a gentleman when it came to matters where his support was needed. Especially the way he made sure that Babli was fine and offered to drop home has my heart. Also he made sure that it’s not safe to make a drunken person sit next to them and sat himself. All through the car drive it was evident that she was impressed and there was a sort of sexual tension from her side. She felt conscious by his presence and touch. In the shot where her hair caresses his face he too feels attracted for a bit.

It was so Much Shaurya like when he recoiled into his shell and replied back that he is much better than what she thinks of him and still doesn’t trust her for the media involvement.

But what does he do when he knows the truth that Anokhi wasn’t involved. Straight away blames his dad. Why Shaurya why? Is your dad the only person who lives in Sabherwal house? His reason being woh Astha as she is the only one who is interested in Anokhi. According to him his dad will blindly follow Astha and forget everything else? If that was the case Shaurya, you would have been living away separately with both your parents away from Sabherwal house. These Shaurya Shaan scenes are so intense that I can rewatch them any number of times.

Nikki … she could sense the truth between Babli and Vicky? But what happened when it came to her own self? She needed cues from others? What a sad story of Babli and Vicky. Hope they had united them by the end of the serial. Hoping to see them in s2.

Really hoping for a season 2 to tie up all the loose ends.

I loved this car scene. God knows how many times I watched it. Shaurya's car is lucky for SHAKHI. We got best episodes in his car❤️

The car scene introduces the beginning of the sizzling chemistry of Shakhi. Both are self conscious as they have started feeling the presence of the other not as Prof- student but as man-woman.

Anokhi is still inexperienced hence her glancing at him time and again to grasp if Shaurya is also feeling this 'attraction'. Her admiration of him is clearly seen on her face. Shaurya on the other hand I believe is conscious of something happening but definitely not 'attraction'. He cannot place a name to it yet.

Again Mr Puri and Vineet has contributed to the first Shakhi experience so I thank them for it.

The way Anokhi tells Shaurya that at heart is a good person pleases the.latter but again because it is Anokhi he will never accept the compliment, he will get back on his high Sabherwal horse and contradict her.

Anokhi has no choice but to leave him but I liked that part when she tells him now she is more curious to know who has called the press conference and what action he will take against that person when he knows.

Shaurya regrets all the words he said to Anokhiwhen he realises that the call was from the Sabherwal mansion, but his ego stops him from acknowledging his mistake to Anokhi. She is not worth it...

To immediately think it is his father who has called the press tells us two things:

1. Shaurya is very stupid and jumps to conclusion quickly. Why did he never doubt the brats?

2. He is remote controlled by Devi. The brainwashing Devi has done all these years is ingrained in him so that he loses all reasoning.

Shaurya in his hatred for Aastha behaves like a kid. What right does he have to ask his father to sever all ties with Aastha?

Blackmailing his father makes him look cheap. He has no respect for relationship.

I feel sorry for Shaurya as he behaves not as an individual but like a robot programmed by Devi.

So now like every abuser has a pattern, vineet feels the need to punish Babli because she was happy. And here comes our man, to save the day. Honestly, if Anokhi had beaten up Vinnet I would have loved it but things could get too complex then!

Anokhi's awe is quite visible on her face even during the fight. and still nothing? Another thing i noticed that when shaurya took the sisters to the car he literally held anokhi and guided her. It was...nice to see that gesture.

The car ride has my heart. The physical awareness was quite strong from her end. Well, this was her first time with the freedom to go out and land herself somewhere her. He notices her too, infact quite often, too often. I dont mean they feel something for each other, it was just awareness. Beautiful sizzling awareness.

I also noticed, this is the first time she openly laughed in front of him. He noticed it and it annoyed him. His retort was so childlike. Lets see who laughs later :P. Some how the facade of Professor cool always slips with this girl. She rattles his core.

She reads him quite well and there is a micro expression change on his face but he can never take kindness from any thing associated to aastha but when he gets to know he made a mistake, he immediately runs to say sorry but she had already walked too far away.

Shaurya is so filled with hatred for his mother that everything seems to be her fault. He is justified in his anger but to ask his father to choose? It is just petty. This may be because he feels he has always competed with his mother for his father's love and finally it is time for Shaan to pick a side.

Side note 1 : Shaurya stands for babli in the car and indirectly tells her she should walk away from this relationship and anokhi is again in awe. No wonder this girl thought that the man was perfect.

Side note 2 : at home, she is still thinking about shaurya and his mood swings. Ms. Bhalla is intrigued.

Side note 3: The bhalla sisters scene was too sad but good sad. The scene left me thinking how ofetn women sacrifice silently and no one knows.

Shaurya took on Vineet, Anokhi, and Shaan in one episode!

Vineet is despicable(Anuj did a great job with his role). But at least he gave Shaurya a chance to play hero...with the background music and all. We got some memorable Shaurya lines like "Agar yeh mera college hota na, to tujhe bata deta" and "Jo main ne kaha, woh main kar bhi sakta hoon". Thinking back, we were all enthralled by what this straight and narrow professor could be hiding! This fight along with the Anokhi kidnapping gun sequence made us realize that Shaurya Sabherwal was a don hiding behind professor clothes. In another serial, he would have been Raghav Rao. 😉

The purpose of the dance was to add to that car ride's awkwardness and the purpose of the fight was to have Anokhi really see Shaurya sir in a new light. Anokhi was aware of their close proximity. Shaurya was aware of their hands touching. Then the bumping into each other. Her hair in his face(throwback to the train scene). Lots of eyelocks. This was their dynamic changing.

Anokhi has a new found opinion of her professor. "Aap bahar se jo ho, waise andar se bilkul bhi nahi ho.....app dil se bohut ache ho" Why does this positive statement have to be countered with "jitna aap mujhe jaanti ho, main usse kahi zyada behata hoon"? Why such a big ego? Shaurya on the other hand is still convinced that Anokhi called the press. This conclusion was reached solely because she's Aastha's student. And with Puri's evidence, he jumped to another false conclusion that Shaan was the culprit because he's Aastha's husband.

Shaurya really ignored the true villains like Tejvi, Alok, and the twins, and always made wrong allegations against Shaan, Aastha and Anokhi. All of Shaurya's anger towards Aastha came spewing out at Shaan. This scene was very much needed. Shaurya needed to let out his anger regarding his abandonment and neglect. Khalid and KV did a fantastic job in this scene.

Side note:

~ Shaurya knows how to accept a 'thank you' with humility. It seems it's only with Anokhi that he has to give attitude back. He doesn't want gratitude from her. What does he want?

~ The call came from inside the house. A horror show trope that showed up on SAAKK that amused me so.

~ I'm glad Babli told Anokhi about her past with Vicky. Babli is right that there are many more like her in the world that compromise in their lives and give up on their love and dreams. Another reason why Anokhi is allergic to compromise!

I think it was transformative for Anokhi to see men that actually support and stand up for women. One of the many reasons she was probably disappointed in finding out why Shagun and Shaurya broke up. Shaurya is rude, but doesn't really display his soch(minus the library incident) towards her. This truly was the first time Anokhi noticed Shaurya as a person.
