I watched it a few times too. I loved both of their acting and the intensity in their eyes. It must’ve been difficult scene to shoot with all the straight and angry faces , knowing how much fun these two have. I remember KV going under ground and it was so quiet on his IG while everybody was busy bashing Shaurya 😂

Regarding the scene, I was expecting a jealous, rage fueled Shaurya but was NOT expecting him to demean Anokhi so badly and be so nonchalant about it the next day. I hated Shaurya so much and couldn’t forgive him even after the bridge apology. My my, how things change.. 😁

I skip those hospital scenes with Ahir. I just hated him for taking credit.

I didn't want to see that scene again so I wouldn't hate Shaurya so much. Right after the scene, I think I ranted soooooooooo hard on IF. I was PISSED off at Shaurya. I wanted him to suffer! I did feel like his apology was genuine and he put in the effort to change, so I slowly learned to forgive.

But KV and Deba were amazing in the scenes. Shaurya was so filled with hate and Anokhi was so broken after.

@bold: Oh man, I remember the amount of posts I did that week. I was pissed off at Shaurya. I don't think I was as mad at the sindoor shaadi as I was after that library scene. He was vile in it. KV did such a great job.

Honestly, I hated what Shaurya did...but now during the re-watch, I realised that it did not come out of the blue. There was a build up. Him calling his mother an opportunist, him thinking Anokhi impressed the ACP too quickly, him thinking that small town girls take advantage...we were given a lot of bread crumbs to prepare...but we were too in awe of Shaurya!

The scene was very well done in terms of acting and execution. So well done that some people stopped watching the show 🤣 because of the negative impact he created. Oh I hated him...but what a scene! Infact I felt deba could not match upto kv in acting there...and I found her angst/sorrow/hurt so pale. It was so well done.

When you understand where Shaurya is coming from, you know that while he does think this way, he does not mean it only for Anokhi. The bridge apology was Anokhi's call. A lot of people were unhappy with her forgiving him but I realised that forgiveness cannot be measured, it can only be meant. We all forgive people for worse things because we want them in our lives and because we know that they are more than their mistakes. That forgiveness by Anokhi.. conveyed this to me. So it felt natural. Plus her character is very forgiving in nature. All she wants is love, acceptance of her dreams and her rightful place in the world.

Very well said. I totally agree that we were lead to that point of Shaurya's outburst. It was not a surprise. I'm surprised that ITV viewers that watch shit on a daily basis, couldn't handle one episode.

I've always viewed characters as autonomous. If they forgive other characters, I follow suit. The same thing happened after the sindoor shaadi and Anokhi forgave him. I was up in arms when it first happened, but seeing the character come to terms with it allowed me to reason out that Shaurya's actions didn't affect Anokhi in the way that I as a real person viewer would react.

And as a viewer, I can walk away from shows if I disagree with a character's action.

I feel that we often confuse our decisions with the characters. But I guess that is also okay as that is how debate happens on a story plot and it improves.

Having said that, I felt that when it came to anokhi we as viewers did not allow the character to grow as we always compared her to us. Maybe because a lot of women have been in her shoes and the promo promised a 'soch ki takkar'. Because while her character graph was a little here and there, everytime she would do something not ideal the viewers went berserk. Anokhi as a character was put inside a box and on a pedestal. Now when I look at college kids..they change decisions everyday. Grow and change in a span of a semester as your world expands in college. When anokhi did that..we were not happy.

Re-watch really makes you see new perspectives. This was just an observation.

@bold: I wholeheartedly agree with this. There was so much debate on the forum about Anokhi. I felt it was the ingrained patriarchy in all of us that allowed for a flawed character like Shaurya to earn forgiveness but not Anokhi.

There was also some gap in the writing which didn't allow for Anokhi to fully grow either. She was always the righteous one. Even Aastha got to make mistakes and be hypocritical. But anytime Anokhi did anything remotely selfish, fans went against her(maybe because most ITV fans are girls/women).

I totally agree that human beings get to change and grow and be hypocrites daily without analysis. We don't extend that courtesy to characters because their life is analyzed from 30 minute episodes.

This rewatch really does allow us to view the show as a whole than dwell on the day to day.

I loved this car scene. God knows how many times I watched it. Shaurya's car is lucky for SHAKHI. We got best episodes in his car❤️

what i loved about the car scene was Anokhi is impressed SS helped her n BB and the way she looks at him when he helps her with her stuck outfit i thought she is thinking he is a man with so many layers n this kind side was unknown to her .And the moment SS replies to her bohot hassi aa rahi hain and once i know u were involved in calling media i will laugh and u cry .Again she looks at Ss as if again he is a stranger to her .She again drifts away being confused is he the same guy who shut her jija up or this one who still believes she called media when she has been proved innocent. This shift in Anokhis thoughts was highlight i think which laid the foundation of her belief that SS is heartless n once she knows about Aastha n his relationship she quickly jumped to conclusions about SS.

Haha.. True that , I didn’t warm up to Shaurya until much later though. 😁

Wow .. really!? Ugh.. that was the whole point of the story no? 🤪🤷‍♀️Like you said, it was well acted and like you, I too felt like Anokhi wasn’t pissed off enough 😂

Absolutely agree with this, beautifully put !🙌❤️ I couldn’t forgive Shaurya cause I felt like it wasn’t the apology Anokhi deserved. He didn’t apologize even when she outright dropped him several hints about “Sorry” 😂🤪But Anokhi is chose to be the better person and I’m glad she did. That’s one thing they kept consistent about her character ❤️

Lol yes , he was really good. We continued to have so many references to that scene in our posts. “ Try karne mein kya jaata hain” , “wildcard”, “campissss”😂

Shaurya and his ghatiya soch had a field day 😂
