'If you're my father, she's also my sister, maybe she's nothing for you but she's everything to me and she's not a mistake nor am I, you always kept scolding us, why are you acting of loving us now?', Sonia asked shocking him. 'No my child, I always loved you,' he replied. 'Only me?', she asked. He sighed and nodded in negative. 'I loved you both,' he replied. 'No you don't, you always scolded us and made Somu cry, she had cried the day u gave a toy only to me, you don't love us, you just want to separate us,' she said and he felt as if a bomb fell on him.
'No,' he said. 'Yes, its the truth, I understand everything, you only give me a toy always and not to her, you only talk nicely with me and not with her, if you were saying truth, you wouldn't have thought to separate us,' she said. 'No my child listen to me,' he said. 'I hate you papa,' she said and another bomb fell on him. 'Sonia!', he shouted and raised his hand to slap her and Nimmi got shocked and was coming near them but when she saw him stop, she too stopped.
'You hate me? I am your father damn it, and Nimmi wants to break our bonding that's why she's doing this,' he said angrily. Sonia got shocked on his act and tears rolled down her cheeks. He regretted his words as soon as he saw her tears. Nimmi too got teary eyed and came to them. Soumya wiped her tears and kissed her cheek. 'Sonia, don't cry, I can't see your tears, please forgive papa, you know he gets angry on little things, he really loves us, if you will cry, he will be sad,' she said.
Manindar felt his heart full of guilt, he knelt down and held his ears. 'Sorry,' he apologized, she hugged him tight and he too hugged her back along with Soumya shocking Nimmi. He kissed Sonia's forehead breaking the hug and then turned to Soumya, he caressed her hair and kissed her forehead as well and went. Nimmi asked the twins to go to their room, as they went, she too went towards Manindar's room to spy. 'I am so guilty right now, the child who I always blamed is just so innocent and lovely,' he said with tears rolling down his cheeks.
Nimmi smiled as he said that, she knew her hope will surely come true with flying colours. She went inside the room. 'I am very happy that you finally accepted the reality,' she said and he looked back at her. 'I won't divorce you now,' he said and she went smilingly from there. 'Child, the reality won't ever change, don't fall in the trap,' Sushma said to Manindar as she left the room. 'You won't understand how it felt in childhood when papa said I am a mistake, when I felt so bad then she's also a child, you will also accept her one day.'
Sushma creased her eyebrows. Later that day, Manindar came to the twins room. 'Children,' he called and they turned to him but Sonia turned her face away and he came and sat on his knees in front of them. 'What happened my child? You're angry with me?', he asked sadly from Sonia. She nodded in negative. 'Papa did mistake, forgive papa, look papa is guilty,' Soumya said to Sonia but it was of no use. 'Soumya, without asking us, no one can separate us, not even him,' Sonia said angrily trying to hop off the bed but as they were conjoined, both had to move together but Soumya didn't move.
'Soumya come with me, he's here to ask for forgiveness then trick us into separation,' Sonia said to Soumya gritting her teeth. 'I won't, forgive papa, he's sad,ma always says not to sadden anyone and you're doing the same thing, ma will not talk to you if you do this,' Soumya said. 'Please Soumya, ma is on our side that's why she didn't force us,' Sonia said. Manindar stood up and sat beside Sonia. 'Baby I won't force you, don't you trust me?', he asked.
'Why did you raise hand on me?', she asked. 'I didn't slap you dear and I won't ever slap you, papa loves you,' he said. 'I hate you papa,' she shouted. 'Sonia, you're doing wrong, papa loves us, you can't hate him,' Soumya said and Nimmi came there and signed Manindar to go and he went. 'My doll's mood is bad, what will my princess eat? Should I make your favorite aaloo poori for you?,' Nimmi asked to enlighten the environment. 'Yes ma, don't ask her, even if she wants it, she will refuse,' Soumya said and Nimmi laughed.
'Ma don't joke on me,' Sonia said. 'OK I won't joke, but on one condition, apologize to papa,ok?', she asked and she nodded in approval and the twins ran out of the room. They entered Manindar's room and saw him crying. They walked to him and wiped both his wet cheeks by their small, soft and lovely hands. 'Sorry papa,' Sonia said holding her ears. He smiled and picked both of them at once and kissed their cheeks. 'Please don't be cross at me again,' he said and they hugged him and he smiled kissing their hair.
Later that day, Manindar wasn't in his room and so Sushma came and took out all the money from his wallet and scattered it on the small table in the room and smiled evilly and went from there. Soumya and Sonia came there. 'Sonia,I m bored, let's draw something,' Soumya said and they looked around finding paper and misunderstood money as paper and started drawing on it. Manindar came to that room and saw them, he smiled at first but as he saw his money scattered, his expressions changed from happy to angry. 'Nimmi!', he shouted angrily making the twins startle.
