Nimmi came running to Manindar's room. 'What happened?', she asked. 'What do you think of me ha? I love them so I will let them steal my things? Look at them, look what they're doing,' he shouted. Nimmi came inside and went past the twins. She saw the money scattered on the table along with drawings on them. 'What have you taught them? To steal things? To disrespect their father? This is all because of Soumya,' he said angrily. 'Papa, she didn't steal,' Sonia said defending Soumya.

'Child, you don't speak in between, you are little to understand all this,' Manindar said. 'She's also little, please don't shout on her,' Sonia replied. 'She stole today, tomorrow she will even become a criminal,' he said to Nimmi. 'Maa, I didn't steal, I wanted to draw, there was pen but there wasn't paper. I didn't do intentionally,' Soumya said. 'Whats the use of this note now?', Manindar said and was about to slap her but Nimmi held his hand. 'Stop, she's small, you made this, wow. Go play outside,' she stopped Manindar and praised her children sending them outside. They went and she left his hand. Anger filled her eyes and she fisted her palms.

'You make fake notes and intentionally scatter them on your desk so that if anything happens, you can blame my children,' she said holding his collars and he pushed her. 'I don't know what are you talking about,' he replied. She showed him the money which had Soumya's drawing. 'Look at this, its fake, its just a paper, fool,' she said. 'Paper?', he said shocked at her words and took the note from her hand, it had happy family picture. He bowed his head down in embarrassment and his jaw dropped open. She slapped him.'You always try to embarrass my daughter, my world, what do you think of yourself? She loves you so much, open your eyes, come in your senses, why you do this always?,' she asked with tears flowing down her cheeks.

'Its nonsense talking to you,' she said and exited the room going to her room to watch her children play. She saw Soumya crying and Sonia talking to her. They walked to the ice cream stall and Sonia bought a cone and brought it in front of Soumya's mouth to make her eat and she did. She too ate while making her eat.

'Ab theek hai na?', Sonia asked and Soumya nodded.

They ran after finishing their ice cream and bought one more. They saw a boy sitting alone and ran to him. Actually he was a beggar. They gave her the cone and he smiled and took it, they ran away smiling at him. 'Look how these girls are stuck together, is it one girl or two? Unusual story,' said a boy and the twins heard a roar of laughter of a group. They turned around and there stood a boy with her back towards them, they signed each other as if saying we're not weak.

They turned him around. 'Have you ever looked at yourself in mirror? Orange skin and wearing rags on them,' Sonia taunted and he fisted his palm and was about to punch her but Soumya held his hand and twisted it behind his back and pushed him on the floor and together they jumped upon him making him scream. They jumped forward landing on the floor and showed him thumbs down and smiled at each other running away. Nimmi smiled seeing them and went from there. As they ran, they collided with a boy of their age.

He smiled at them removing his shades. They smiled back. He showed them both his hands with the palms facing them, they were confused at first but then they got to know and had a high five. Then they both forwarded their right hands for a handshake, he shook their hands together and they became friends. 'So what's your name?', he asked. 'Soumya, and she's Sonia,' Soumya said. 'What about you?', she asked. 'Harman Harak Singh, so friends?', he said and they agreed. So they played together for three hours until Nimmi came outside to call them, they went waving at Harman.

'Ma, we made a new friend,' Sonia said. 'Oh wow, what is her name?,' she asked as they went together to their room. 'Harman,' Soumya said. 'Nice name, I m happy that your mood is fine now, be here only, I will just come with your food,' she said and went. 'Sonia, we beated that boy so badly, it was so funny but painful for him too,' Soumya said. 'Uh oh, why do you always think like this ha? Enjoy your life, what about the pain we get?', Sonia replied cupping her cheeks. 'You are absolutely right.'

'But does that mean we won't apologize dad this time?', asked Soumya. 'No, this time I agree with you that it was our mistake, but ma said to be here only,' Sonia said confused on how to go. 'No, we'll go and come back like air, she won't know,' Soumya replied. As they hopped off the bed, Nimmi came and they sat back with straight faces. She fed both of them and Sonia nudged Soumya's shoulder. She looked at her while eating and asked her by her eyes of whether she should tell her or not. Sonia nodded in approval.

'Ma, it was our mistake this time, don't you think we should apologize?', Soumya asked. 'Beta why do you always do this? Don't apologize, its his mistake, why did he put his money there when he knows that you don't know about it? Is it wrong or not? Honestly tell me, did you both took out the money from his wallet?', she asked politely. 'No, the money was already scattered on the study table as if they're of no use, then he scolded Somu as if she did it alone and I wasn't there at all, why ma?', Sonia asked and she got thinking.
