Chp 1: First Day Of SchoolThanks for so many comments
Nanhay Farishtay, janam se judwa
Alag na hongay zindagi bhar hum
Yahi sapna hai apna janam janam takIn Gurdaspur, conjoined twins were born, the newborn babies talked to each other in language that could be understood only by them. Their hands were tied to their mother's hand who was laying beside them admiring her kids.
Sundar judwa hain, jaise jurray hain
Nazar na lag jaye gurriyo'n ko
Sab se hi sundar hain pariyo'n k jaisi
Naazuk hain phoolo'n ki kalliyon si
Pyaar bhara jeevan ab katte sang sang
Bichhrein gay na hum do (2), chahey kuchh bhi ho
Yahi sapna hai apna janam janam tak(Song is from Charulatha Hindi dubbed moving, starring: Priyamani and Skanda)
The mother made them listen this song to her conjoined kids and smiled as they slept. She switched off the tape recorder and she too slept. Later at night, she woke up worriedly as her hand touched the bed and it was empty. 'Where are my kids?,' she said worriedly and got off the bed running out of her room downstairs praying to God. She searched them in every room in whole house and then came to the main door. That's when she saw a man and a woman keeping them in car and about to leave.
She ran fast and stopped them. 'Stop, don't take them,' she pleaded. 'We'll have to separate them, it's the right time,' he spoke creasing his eyebrows. 'No, if they will be conjoined, then at least you won't try killing my baby,' she said. 'Try to understand, if anyone gets to know, our prestige will be mixed in mud,' he replied. 'As if I care, I will never ever let them separate, not today, not tomorrow, never ever, did you understand!,' she shouted and went to the seat beside him and the woman locked the door.
She sat down and punctured all tyres making them come out. She took this an opportunity and snatched her babies from the woman's arms. 'I m their mother and not you, I will decide, you yourself is my husband's mother but you don't understand my pain, and you, you are their father, you should be ashamed,' she said angrily. 'Nimmi! Don't you dare talk in loud voice with my son,' said the woman. 'And don't you dare even think to do this again, explain your stone hearted son Mrs. Radhika Singh,' she replied. 'Nimmi!,' he shouted.

'Manindar ji! Just stop it else I will take your life away from you, Soumya won't separate from Sonia, they both are equal,' she warned and went back inside. Manindar and Radhika get angry. Eight years passed by, the twins were sleeping on double bed while Nimmi was sleeping on single bed closer to their bed. Her hand was tied with Soumya's hand. As she woke up, she smiled at her kids and went to wake them up. She sat beside Soumya and caressed her hair. 'Agay dekho, peeche dekho, daaein dekho, baaein, gayi kahan dono rajkumari inko dhoondo haye.'
She untied her and Soumya's hand. 'Sundar si yeh rajkumari rajkumar ko dhoonday, sapnay inkay inki tarha hi hain rang barangay, jaanay gayi kahan ye dono kitni deewarein laang kar, soi hain ye itni derr se munh pe chadar taan kar, Rabb ji se hai dekho inka rishta kitna khaas, dhoond k lao inko phir se inki..', she sung pulling the bed sheet off them. 'Maa k pas,' Soumya completed the last line. 'Don't wanna wake up?', she asked. 'Only five minutes,' she said and Sonia turned to her left and kept her arm around her stomach in sleep.
'OK sleep, but look at my two fingers, what do they say to me? Actually no, they don't say anything to me, they say to you, now where does these fingers go? Where where where?', she said looking at her index fingers and then tickled both of them by one finger and they sat up laughingly. 'OK OK, now we woke up, at least now leave us,' Soumya said. 'No no, I will leave this world but never leave you both, get up fast, its your first day for school, I will make breakfast for you both,' she said and kissed their foreheads.

After breakfast, she made them ready for school. She slipped the uniform down Sonia's head then did the same to Soumya, she made their hands go through the sleeves and pulled it down her waist, she combed their hair and made them wear shoes. The trio walked out of the room and she gave them their bags and kept their arms around each other's shoulders smiling at each other. 'Papa, are you dropping us to school?', Soumya asked. 'Mistakes like you deserve to be prisoned in home,' he replied with hatred in his voice. She looked down sadly.
'Soumya,Sonia, I m alive for you both and till I m alive, you don't need to beg anyone, come my children,' Nimmi said with love and took them. 'Because of Soumya, I can't even show my love for Sonia, because of her I m far from my daughter,' Manindar said angrily to Radhika. 'You will have to, because she's small and it ain't her fault that she's born conjoined with Soumya,' Radhika replied. 'I can't do it, I don't want to give Nimmi false hopes,' he said. 'Leave all that, do as I say,' she said and he agreed nodding his head.
Nimmi dropped them to school and went from there. 'Soumya, don't be sad by papa's behavior, his mood was bad that's why he would've said that,' Sonia said trying to make her mood good. 'He doesn't cares about us, he just keeps scolding us,' Soumya said sadly. Just then they heard roars of laughter of kids that gathered around them, they were laughing on them, their conjoined bodies. Soumya and Sonia looked at each other, tears formed in their eyes as they laughed. A boy was passing by from there. He got in between the crowd and tapped the shoulder of the boy who was joking on them.
