"Ishaan I don't know unn 5 seconds mein kya hua tha, I mean it all happened in the moment, Ayaan ne shyad mujhe thoda ziyada serious le liya tha jab meine kaha tha ke mujhe films mein jaisa hota hai waise rain dance karna tha...I dunno, but I want to clarify ke kuch nahin hua tha...woh last time tha jab meine Ayaan ko Delhi mein dekha tha...uski good bye ko mein uss waqt samaj nahin payi thi...mujhe nahin pata tha ke next day woh chala jayega..." Suhana said.
Ishaan took Suhana's hands in his before saying,"Suhana jab kuch hua he nahin tab tum justification kyun de rahi ho,"
"Because jab Sonali tumhari life mein aise achanak ayi tab mujhe laga ke woh humare beech ah rahi hai aur tum dono ke beech kuch chal raha hai aur mein nahin chahti ke Ayaan ko le kar aisi koi misunderstanding tumhe ho..." Suhana replied
"Suhana mein janta hoon ke Ayaan sirf tumhara friend hai, mein sab Sid aur tumhare bare mein janta hoon aur ye bhi janta hoon ke tum sirf mujse pyar karti hoon," Ishaan replied, "Suhana, kyunki Sona meri best friend hai mein tumhari aur Ayaan ki dosti ko samaj sakta hoon...Suhana, jaise tumne abhi kaha, it just happened in the moment...ziyada socho maat aur soh jao," Ishaan said.
Suhana hugged him and muttered,"Ishaan, I love you..."
Ishaan hugged her back and said, "love you too," and with that both went to sleep.
On the other hand Ayaan was lying on his bed watching TV and thinking about his last day in Delhi as well. He recalled his first concert and the dance in the rain with Suhana and how in the carhe made up his mind to leave Suhana and Delhi behind and to date that was the toughest decision he had ever taken.
*************FLASHBACK**************
Ayaan drove into the Bajpai driveway and got out of the car, he knew what he had to do next; go home, pack and leave Delhi as soon as possible. His feelings for Suhana had grown stronger as time had gone by but he always hid them but today he couldn't quite control them, she was so sure about her future with Sid so there was nothing left in Delhi for him now, just seeing her and feeling pain and heartbreak every day, he was better off starting life afresh in another city away from Suhana.
Ayaan opened the door for Suhana who got out in silence. If he was so sure to leave the he might as well say his goodbye now.
"Suhana...Suhana, I'm sorry," Ayaan apologized, hoping she would understand that he hadn't meant to take advantage of her earlier. And in the moment deciding that if this was the last time he would see Suhana he might as well not have any more regrets, added, "and good bye," leant in and kissed her on the cheek.
Without waiting for a response he turned his back on Suhana and drove off, the image of Suhana standing there puzzled, carrying several questions in her eyes but asking none.
Ayaan drove straight home packed his things. He spoke with his mother who was currently in London with his sister. He informed them about his decision to leave Delhi, and his mother acknowledged his feelings behind this and suggested he go to Mumbai where they owned a flat. He could shift there now and they would decide about the future when she returned to India.
Ayaan welcomed the idea and booked a flight ticket to Mumbai for the next morning and left after putting last few things in Delhi straight never to come back.
************FLASHBACK**************
Ayaan had now made a place for himself in the city of dreams where he hadn't become a singing superstar he once wanted to but was now enjoying success in as a marketing and advertising head of a top music company. He just wished that he could have said a proper good bye to Suhana and wondered if this meeting in Mumbai was God's way of giving him this second chance before moving to Bangalore. His transfer had been sanction and he was moving there in 2 weeks and it was up to him now to decide what he wanted to do, live in his past loving a married woman and constantly feeling guilty for it or else look forward to the future and move on from her by ending things off properly and one day find true that was meant for him, because today he had realized that Suhana wasn't ever meant for him or Sid, she was made only for Ishaan, who loved her and gave her everything that she actually really needed and deep down somewhere wanted.
