Nways Here's Part 5

"phir kya hua," Ishaan asked. He was genuinely interested in knowing about this side of Suhana and couldn't believe he hadn't yet asked her about things like her friends other than Sullie-Sudhie and about her college days and life before Sid and marriage,etc.
"phir mein gussa tha aur Suhana bhi...I think humne teen hafte tak baat nahin ki thi aur phir Miss Suhana Bajpai mujhe maana ne ayi," Ayaan said and then began recalling the entire incident for Ishaan

Ayaan was sitting at his balcony looking over the garden lit under the moonlight. He had his music book in hand and was penning down lyrics but something didn't feel right today he couldn't quite get the right words today. He badly wanted to talk to Suhana, make her smile, listen to her laugh but he wasn't going to go say sorry first, how could Suhana be like this, did nothing other than Sid matter to her, if Sid was her boyfriend then I'm her friend as well damnit, Ayaan thought, if she needs me she'll come to me.
Just then there was a knock on the door
"Can I come in?" Suhana said. She was standing at the door dressed in a beautiful yellow dress. Though Ayaan thought she looked beautiful in everything he loved Suhana in yellow, she made a hideous colour like yellow look so beautiful he thought.
"tum already romn ke andar ho" Ayaan replied. He was getting over the fact that Suhana had actually come to him for once and he also wanted to see her try and pacify him.
"I know, tumhari friend hoon so room mein aane ke liye lifetime ka pass hai mere paas but mein balcony ki baat kar rahi thi," Suhana said
"balcony room ki hi hisa hai," Ayaan said looking away from Suhana. It made it easier to be cross at her when he wasn't looking at her.
She didn't reply so he turned to see where she had gone. Suhana had gone back into the room and was now rummagging through Ayaan's DVDs.
"Suhana what are you doing?" Ayaan said totally puzzled by her actions.
"Mein sari Amitabh Bachan ki movies bin mein dal rahi hoon," Suhana said.
"Why?" Ayaan asked baffled
"Tum unki movies dekh ke angry young man ban rahe ho bilkul unki tarha," Suhana replied.
Ayaan couldn't keep a straight face anymore and began laughing uncontrollable. How could he have expected Suhana to pacify him, she always did the unexpected and this was unexpected.
"Ayaan stop laughing mujhe apologize karna hai," Suhana said after a while when Ayaan's laughter hadn't subsided
"ok," Ayaan said, with a straight face now
"Ayaan I'm sorry, mujhe guitar nahin todh na chahiye tha, but mein kya karu sari ghalti tumhari hai, mujhe itna gussa kyun dilate ho, tumhe understand karna chahiye ke tumhari friend, yane ki mujhe, uss time pe comfort aur support ki zaroorat, you should have hugged me and said 'Suhana let's go shopping' par tumne aisa nahin kiya," Suhana said it all in one breath.
Ayaan walked over to his personal fridge and passed her a bottle of water which she took.
"Suhana it's ok...tumhe apologize karna nahin ata so stop trying," Ayaan said.
He realised that the last 3 weeks and all his anger was pointless, he had forgiven Suhana as soon as he had cooled his temper down that very day.
"Suhana I'm sorry maine-" Ayaan began but Suhana cut him off
"It's ok, it was my fault, slightly overreact kiya tha," Suhana said more to herself than Ayaan," but anyways look mein kya layi hoon tumhare liye," she said and she drew his attention to a massive box she bought with her,"especially tumhare liye Germany se order kiya hai," she added
Ayaan opened the box and his jaw-dropped. It was a magnificent guitar.
"Suhana...Suhana this is amazing, thanks," Ayaan said
"Mein janti hoon mujhe teekh se sorry bolna bhi nahin ata, so mujhe jo ata hai woh meine kiya...tumhare liye shopping" she beamed at him. Her phone beeped and she attended to it.
"chalo get ready humme party mein jaane hai," she said,"Sid ka message tha, uske ghar pe party hai,"
"tumhara aur Sid ka patch up phir se hogaya?" Ayaan asked but he already knew the answer.
"yeah, you know usne apologize karne ke liye kya kiya..." and Suhana told him the romantic things Sid did for but Ayaan wasn't listening. He had imagined that this time Sid and Suhana were over for good so he could finally confess his feelings for her but that wasn't to be he thought.
"Suhana you carry on, I can't come," Ayaan replied hoarsely, Suhana looked at him questioningly and he answered,"tum ne mujhe itna acha guitar diya hai toh use karna padhega...nayi songs write karne, music bana na hai..."Ayaan said unable to come up with another story.
Truth was he had confronted Sid about his relationship and fights with Suhana and both had a showdown. Sid had questioned Ayaan's intentions and his relations with Suhana and refused to believe ayaan when he said he saw Suhana just as a friend. Ayaan too got frustrated and said alot of things he now regretted but he knew for a fact that his and Sid's friendship was now over but he didn't want to say all this to Suhana and make her choose between him and Sid.

"Suhana ne mujhe mana ne ki liye God knows kitna expensive guitar mangaya tha...and woh uski first apology thi," Ayaan said.
"agar aaj same incident hua hota toh mein tumhe guitar nahin ek smile deti and properly apologise karti," Suhana said.
"aisa kyun," Ayaan asked
"Badi Maa kehti hai relationships ko paiso se nahin tolte...its about the emotion behind your actions, meine tumhe guitar doon ya smile as long as mein tum sincerly woh dungi, dono gift gift mein koi fark nahin," Suhana said.
Ishaan admired his wife, she had changed so much just through his family, he would never have guessed Suhana to understand relationships like this when they were newly married.
"Ishaan tumhari family mein sach mooch jaddoo hai, humari Suhana Bajpai ko kitni achi tara se Suhana Kasyap bana diya hai," Ayaan said.
"Waise jadoo toh iss khana mein bhi tha, Ayaan, the food was amazing, tum shayad pehle guest ho jisne hosts ke liye khana banaya hai," Ishaan said.
"expect the unexpected when Suhana is around," Ayaan replied
"hey humme phir se milna chahiye," Suhana said.
"umm parso lunch pe," Ishaan suggested
"ok,"Ayaan said,"par location mein decide karun ga, tum dono Mumbai mein new ho toh mein tumhe Mumbai ke best restaurants mein lunch karane leh jayunga,"
Precap: "tum Suhana se bohat pyar karte ho, hai na?" Ishaan said while Ayaan looked dumbfound
