Kumud saw herself in it but there was something wrong, there was blood on her face.
She ran her hands on her reflection and the blood disappeared.She was scared and surprised at the same time.
"I'm hallucinating." she kept the mirror on her side table and turned to the other side.
When she dozed off, there was smoke in the room, and then a figure is seen...

Next morning,
Saras came to Kumud's room. As soon as he entered, he saw the mirror slightly open. He was mad, he was about to yell at her when he saw blood on her cheek.
He carefully touched her cheek and wiped the blood. She woke up.
"What are you doing?"
"How did you hurt yourself? and why did you open the mirror?"
"I'm not hurt." she remembered last night's incident and touched her cheek.
"How..."
"Answer me!"
"Can't you wait! Last night, when I saw my reflection in the mirror, I saw blood and the strangest thing was that when I touched the glass, it disappeared. I thought I was hallucinating."
He went away and came back a few minutes late with the first aid box. He dressed her wound.
"Why are you doing this for me? Why do you care?"
Saras kept quiet.
"I told you to wait before opening it."
"Oh please, do you think that I got this wound because I opened that damn mirror, I must have bumped into something at night."
He came close to her and she stepped back. He grabbed her arms,"Don't do anything foolish again,"
She removed his hands," You know what? You are trying to fight with me again and I think that you are responsible for my injury."

"Of course not, see your reaction, it's exactly that of a culprit." she went away.
"I wish you knew the truth." he said quietly.

In the afternoon, everyone was in the store room.

"You're welcome." Saras gave her a smile which she returned.
