Part 5:Previous part: She slipped but he caught her.
They stared at each other. Saras's hand was on her bare back, Kumud felt a shiver and she breathed hard, Saras also stared at her and felt something when he touched her.
They were disturbed by someone or rather an idiot.
"aankhon ki gustaakhiyaan maaf hon... "
Saras left Kumud and she fell on the ground," You are such a jerk!" She went away then. Saras gave Danny the evil eye,"Danny, stop singing now!"
"Why? I'm watching it live in front of me, and music should be there, isn't it?"
"Come here," he placed his arm around Danny.
"Do you see that ravine over there? It's very deep, isn't it?"
Danny nodded.
"Do you want to be thrown in it?"
He was shocked and ran away,"No thanks!" And kept singing.

"I hate that idiot."
"What did he do now?"
Kumud told Anushka how she apologized to him, Saras made fun of her but she skipped the part when he caught her.
"You insulted him badly."
"Anushka, it's the first time in my life that I said sorry to someone, when I was a kid, I once dropped a porcelain vase, instead of saying sorry, I ran away. Do you know how difficult was it to say that word? And do you know what he told me, that he'll publish it in the newspapers, he's so mean!"
Anushka started laughing on seeing her face
"Seriously, I should have been there."
"Whatever, did you see Sunny anywhere?"
"It seems that my words have came out of your other ear. Leave that guy alone."
"I know but he's my friend, he helped me so much."
"Ask Ramu, he might know."
Kumud got to know that Sunny went back to the mansion. She was leaving the village
"Where are you going?" It was Saras.
"That's none of your business."
"I can't let you go anywhere alone."
"Why? Are you my bodyguard?"
Then they heard someone singing again,"Teri meri, meri teri prem kahani hai mushqil..." the voice then seemed to be coming from far and then they could no more hear it.
Saras's thoughts: Who can it be apart from that idiot brother of mine?"
"Who was that?" Kumud asked.
"Maybe it was an animal singing..." he said sarcastically.
"Just shut up and leave me alone." she walked away but Saras was still following her.
They finally reached the house. Kumud rushed to Sunny's room. Inspite Anushka's warnings, she wanted to defy Saras.
Saras went to have a tour of the house as they barely looked around when they reached here. When he reached the kitchen, he looked at the walls and found something odd. He saw an old photo of the mansion on the wall. He lifted the photo frame and he found a door handle there. Saras opened the door, it was a store room.
By the time, Anushka, Danny and Ramu were back.
"Hey, look what I found." he shouted.
They came to the kitchen but could not find Saras, instead they saw a door open
"Bro, where are you?"
"Danny, down here, come on."
The gang went in the store room.
Ramu then said," I have been working here for the last ten years, I didn't see this before."
There were lots of boxes. Kumud walked around and saw a mirror,"Look what I found."
Kumud was going to open it but Saras stopped her," Stop! Don't open it. You never know what can happen."
Sunny laughed at him," Don't tell me that you believe in curses now."
"This is for our safety, we must study it careful before we open it, there may be some scriptures or handwriting on it."
They went back to their respective rooms. Kumud kept the mirror with me and promised not to open it. They would continue their search tomorrow.
Kumud woke up at midnight. She had placed the mirror on her bedside table. She was drawn to it and she slowly took it in her hands. She forgot about her promise and opened it...
I did not update yesterday, I was a little busy. The story will now focus on the secret of the mansion. Keep leaving your comments.😊
