Everyone's eyes opened wide, they were too shocked to react or move. Kumud slumped on her knees, she placed her hand on her mouth.
She screamed," Please, get him out of there."
There was someone who was roaring with laughter...
That got on her nerves, how can someone be so cruel, he risked his life to save his and that guy was laughing. This was too much now.
She was in tears now," You are such a disgusting person, Sunny saved you and you can't even go and help him."
"Hey chill, at least see the positive side, he's going to hell in my place. Isn't that...
He could not speak further as she slapped him so hard that there marks on his cheek.
"You..!"
They were interrupted by a man on another boat, "Umm...excuse me guys, is he with you?"
Sunny was lying on the man's boat and he was coughing.
"Yes, he is with us."
They went back to the mansion.
The man who had brought him there helped him to remove the water in his lungs.
"He needs some rest."
"Thanks a lot, you have helped us a lot, do you live over here?"
He smiled at Kumud and brought his hand forward," I'm Kabir, and I'm staying in the nearby village, I'm here for some research."
She shook hands with him," I'm Kumud, are you an archaeologist?"
"Yeah, sort of."
"Wow, that's cool, me too, I mean we all, we're students only."
"What a coincidence! I mean, who would have thought that we would meet."
"Yeah , that's right, actually, what are you searching on?"
"If you don't mind, It's a confidential information and I can't tell it."
"That's ok, I understand."
"Kumud, if you don't mind can I ask you something? I know we've just met and..."
"Feel free Kabir."
"Well..are you and that guy, whom I rescued like, you know, together, you were so worried for him..."
"No! We are just good friends,"
"It doesn't seem like it,"
She was confused. Why was she so worried for Sunny, she would have been in the same state for anyone else. She did not feel anything for him, she hated to admit it but she feels something for her greatest enemy, Saras. She does not know if it's only a crush or love, she finds some connection with him, every time he is near her, every time she feels his touch,... What Kabir said to her sort of got her to mistake the care and friendship she has for Sunny with love. Her heart kept telling her that it was wrong but her mind was convinced that she loved Sunny, all thanks to Kabir, who had asked her that question or said that fact...
Kabir snapped his fingers to get her attention," I'm sorry if I asked anything personal. Did you all ever visit the village?"
"Yes only once,that too for some festivities."
"You must come tonight then, I'm actually staying with some people who are kind of related to me."
"No, we can't like drop in like that."
"It's totally fine, it's only for dinner."
"I need to ask the others."
"Don't worry about that, I'll ask them and I'm sure that guy, what's his name.."
"Sunny."
"Yeah, Sunny, he'll feel better after having home-made food."

Saras was so angry. She slapped him again because of Sunny, in fact, she always insulted him because of that a*sh*l*. What was wrong in what he did? Ok, he went a bit overboard but he was not an animal, he would have rescued him if Kabir was not here, he just wanted to lighten the moment, he knew that Sunny saved him, and now she...
Thinking about all this only made his head ache. He looked in the pocket of his bag if there was any painkiller in it. He did not find any.
"I guess I must ask Danny."
He made his way there. He slowed down when he heard some voices coming from Sunny's room. The door was closed, he leaned on it and listened.
"Kabir, thanks for saving me."
"Anything for my small brother."
Brother, BROTHER, did he hear that right? Kabir was Sunny's brother? Why didn't he tell them? He wanted to listen further on but Kumud then came.
"What are you doing here?'
"I wanted to apologize."
"What will you gain by apologizing, huh? You left him to die."
"Can't you even listen to what I have to say, and why do you care so much for that jerk!!!"
"He's not a jerk, he's my Boyfriend and I love him! Did you get your answers now."
He fell as if the ground slipped from his feet, he wanted to die.
Kumud, on the other side doesn't know why she said this, Kabir's words have messed up her mind, she loved him, that's what her mind was saying, while her heart denied.
