VC ji was a lil OTT, but not bad, liked the episode, actually loved the episode, n plzzz no premi, overdose hochuki hai ab 😉

So liked everyone today n loved Saras & Kumud.
As for danny wo tou star hai, he's a breath of fresh air in every episode.

Sundari ji sai one appeal plz plz public demand par one time chaniya choli main darshan dai dain.

Gul, yeh VC OTT zyada kahan hai, Yatinji was the OTT king. It was for the fact that where Aliraza was thoda OTT, Yatinji would have been over OTT.

Any buzz on what or who is this rohit? And what is his dushmani? Mujhe toh woh bhi Kumud premi laga😕

Gauti once again was too cute, as was Danny, and I really really thought that for dandiya, Kumud will choose a chaniya choli.

I know, and misplaced. She was at home in her bedroom, why would she be wearing such uncomfortable looking footwear ?

Well, I was one of those people who wanted her to wear teacherni type clothes in school, and still do, I work with schools and so know that low waist navel showing lehengas with sheer dupattas are actually not allowed in schools and are not appropriate also.

Chaniya choli to school - no... I still would get offended.

Chaniya choli at the dandiya, or to rijhao her Saras - a definite YESSS

Would everyone else agree with me - I don't think so.

And I also don't think her wearing suits now is due to viewer fatwa of no skin show.

Clothes and style are so much a matter of personal choice, that anyway, will always generate conflicting views, so uspe agreement impossible hai! Even in days of chaniya choli, there were fors and againsts, and even now there are.

It makes sense that in a Hindu engagement or sagai, it is suhaag for all suhagin (married women) to wear sindur, bangles, mangalsutra, earrings, taala, bindi, payal, sari - and any combination of these depending on which state the women are from. Neither Kumud nor Kusum were wearing these. It makes a mockery of the show's phs when they think they are showing the sanskari Desais.

Yes I agree with you Aniq, in a family wedding, there would be a protocol to wear traditional dresses and all the suhag ki nishanis, we know that even today, in our families on traditional functions, that's the way. I don't know why Kumud has been given these sort of clothes to wear even in all the wedding functions. Waise bhi, Even in her everyday wear, sindoor, mangalsutra and bindi missing is always jarring, keeping in mind the ethos of Kumud and where she comes from, and how rooted she is.

Kusum atleast sticks to sarees and keeps her sindoor and bindi on, Kumud has totally stopped using all these, is poor styling for the character.!!!

Wahi tho. Desais have come very far.

Kusum was wearing a bindi and sari. Fair enough. When Kumud and all were in mandap puja today, except saras n kumud all were having bindi. I was shocked to see her not putting a bindi atleast in puja. Anyways its Jen sitting there.

Arshi,
A very decent episode with beautiful saras-kumud scenes. I think these scenes are much needed to bring that element of romance in their lives. There has been only chaos, sadness, tension, trouble etc etc in their lives. For keepsake, this was much needed. That Saras n Kumud shed their inhibitions and romanced too after getting married. Ek check mark lag gaya. For me, the judai becomes a little easier after seeing this. Earlier, I would crib that shaadi ke ek saal khatam hone se pehle aur kuch khushi aur romance karne se pehle hi juda ho rahe hain. Now it feels better.

There were two of their scenes.

The first was their learning session. I just loved it. I saw Kumud there. Both were in their elements. No inhibitions. It was beautiful. Kumud's teasing, Saras's tantrums and Kumud pacifying with a hug. Dil khush ho gaya.

The second scene was the slow dance Saras and Jennifer. It was beautiful. But it was not kumud.

Thanks CVs for this episode.

PS: Danny I will miss you too.😭 You are the brightest star these days.

So two things were off in that scene Santhi, they were both not a part of the mandap puja, and their shots were filmed separately.

But inspite of that, Kumud should have been wearing a bindi and saree, as is a done thing in family poojas even today.

I also feel that this dress style of hers has no Kumud feel to it, while in Mumbai she chose to not use these is fine back in RN I would expect her to be wearing sindoor bindi and mangalsutra!

It's really jarring to see her sooni Maang and soona matha all the time! She gave up her mangalsutra, bindi and sindoor even before she left for Mumbai! I wonder why this sort of styling was done for her.

I agree Santhi, scenes like these will make judai easier to handle and mourning of Kumud more meaningful.

We need lasting memories of how deeply in love they are, and not of does she even love him!

I felt a more dumdaar dandiya would have been better, the slow dance was nice, but again incongruous if we think of RN as it was!

Now one is just happy to see sweet scenes between saras and Kumud. As for whether it was Kumud or Jennifer there? I think makers after this seperation are planning take away even the last remnants of kumud sundari as she was! Till the new Kumud acquires a persona of her own, we would not be able to relate to her!

So, I guess in the absence of a strong characterization, and the dress style that's been given to her, we don't see Kumud at all onscreen!

Arshi,
I watched Saraswatichandra movie yesterday on youtube(ffed unimportant parts).

They changed Saras quite a lot at the beginning itself(in this show). The one in movie which followed original very closely was passionate about lok-seva and was considered a bright scholar. He wrote many books that Kumud reads before seeing him(and admires him through the books).

But this Saras is much more sensitive than that Saras who was a little indifferent. Its Kumud who is very sensitive there. She initially shows a little anger but easily forgives him. And when Saras feels a little guilty about ruining her life(after indifference), she is so worried and feels even more guilty for making him sad. That's how highly she regards him. Treats him like a devata and openly talks about being his admirer and not just a lover.

They share a beautiful and touching convo in sundargiri at the end of the movie. When Saraswatichandra's indifference goes away and both fight against themselves n for each other.

Just wanted to share.
