And that bit where Saras gets angry about Kumud faking pain was so touching. Saras is sooo Saras. The way he said that she went through enough pain and that he wont let pain reach her!! Since he realized his mistake and later saw her hurting in Pramad's house, he has a single point agenda. To keep Kumud away from pain.

Arshi,

I watched Saraswatichandra movie yesterday on youtube(ffed unimportant parts).

They changed Saras quite a lot at the beginning itself. He was passionate about lok-seva and was considered a bright scholar. He wrote many books that Kumud reads before seeing him(and admires him through the books).

But this Saras is much more sensitive than that Saras who was a little indifferent. Its Kumud who is very sensitive there. She initially shows a little anger but easily forgives him. And when Saras feels a little guilty about ruining her life(after indifference), she is so worried and feels even more guilty for making him sad. That's how highly she regards him. Treats him like a devata and openly talks about being his admirer and not just a lover.

They share a beautiful and touching convo in sundargiri at the end of the movie. When Saraswatichandra's indifference goes away and both fight against themselves n for each other.

Just wanted to share.

Santhi TFS, reminds of our discussions with Samarth on this topic and how SLB made SC more likeable and affectionate in the show.

Yes in that movie both Saras and Kumud were very different. Saras as designed by GMT was a sanyasi at soul with lok seva as his main focus, and Kumud a very strong family girl with a very strong moral compass. The characters were given a contemporary sensitivity by mr SLB, but SO, as we know completely lost the plot, and made the story so Saras centric and have completely diminished Kumud's character!

Santhi that line was a again like twisting a knife in our hearts! Beautiful words, beautifully said and made all the more poignant by the fact that he is probably in the near future going to give her more pain than she has ever suffered, and is going to leave her in pain for life!

Yeah. They had to make it Saras-centric to move the story further. But they diminished Kumud big time!!! That was not needed.

It was a samudilicious episode Arshiji. The dandiya practicing scene of samud was very funny and cute too and the back hug from kumud was so romantic. Last few minutes of episode were so memorable that no samud fans want to miss. The made for each other couple were in full romantic mood and were looking very adorable while dancing. By the way who is that new guy? Why was he staring so weirdly to samud while they were dancing? Who sent him, Guman? 😕

The dance practice scene was reminiscent of a similar scene of the good old days.

And the entire episode had such a romantic feel to it, I wish this continues for the remaining days.

The lasting memories should be of them happy and in love with each other.

I had a feeling last night that the new guy is acting on his own! He was staring at Kumud so weirdly that I am wondering if he is another repetition of obsessed with Kumud track!

I hope not, I wouldn't want to see Saras die at the hands of Kumud's premi. Belittles their love completely!
