I can't be angry at Kumud! She has been blamed over and over again for ruining the family's reputation and tolerating the kind of incidents that poor girl has suffered from, she just doesn't have the courage to bare anything else... But at the same the writers have to continue the love saga of Saras and Kumud. This isn't butchering of any character (though it may seem like it). This is the story penned before we even started watching the show! I don't know about anyone else but I feel a new exciting phase is coming. Kusum is going to get married to Danny unknowingly. The truth will come out and I'm sure this is going to create a huge rift between Saras and Kumud because she will feel cheated by him (again you will hate her more but these two are meant to be bound by pain and hurt). Not only that but it's likely that Kusum will blame Kumud/Saras for fooling her. I don't know about anyone else but I don't want a bland graph, I want the highs and lows because that's what makes us more anxious about the track.

How are there not topics on this AMAZING moment? THIS is Saras and Kumud for me. It's handsdown one of the most precious moments between these two star-crossed lovers and a very rare poignant visual in Indian soaps. They're not married you say?

Although I don't agree with what Kumud asked of Saras, I can't get myself to hate her too much or think that she doesn't truly love Saras. It's ironic because at first Saras was the vulnerable one with "destiny" issues (as I call them). He didn't want to get close to Kumud because he thought he loses everyone he loves, like his mom. Kumud, and Dugba, taught him to write and fight for your own destiny. But now Kumud is the one with "destiny" issues. To me she's not the same Kumud that the show began with, but that makes sense. How can she be the same? She was left at the wedding alter by Saras, abused by Pramad (physically, verbally & emotionally), accused of ruining her family's reputation, and is now being emotionally blackmailed by the lunatic she believes is her beloved sister. Kumud has turned vulnerable. It's a phase and her current vulnerability is part of the Saras-Kumud story to me. So I'm not hating on her characterization.
